Best kept secret of Gippsland - lots of walking tracks and 4x4 tracks to explore and fishing is good as well.

Terrific little town, out of the hustle and bustle of lakes entrance. Magnificent fishing in the lake and surf beach, perfect if you have a boat. Great calm warm shallow water in the lake perfect for small children. excellent pub and general store/fish and chip shop and close to Lakes entrance for more action.

Lake Tyers on one side and Tyers Beach on the other side. Marvellous landscape. Restaurants and Car Park nearby.

Nice area. Ocean beaches and campgrounds especially on the eastern side can be harder to get to, but there are some great spots. Lake bigger than many realise, and whichever way the wind blows you can always find sheltered water.

I loved this place! The beach is beautiful, the locals are friendly, and the weather was perfect.

Love Lake Tyers , I was actually on Bung Yarnda , lake tyres mission across the lake from the waterwheel tavern , great holiday destination

Very friendly locals and nice beach . We love this place and find the Beachfront CP very quuet in off oeak times with great hosts.

Went to stay for a week to visit with a friend and enjoyed the whole time there even with smoke from fires around and one days rain the fish at the Fish fare Shop opposite the Wharf was to die for six I recommend !
