Marie-Claire the host, is one of the warmest people I have ever met, she was extremely welcoming and gave us plenty of advice about what to see and do around the island. In term of the accommodation you really can't get better value for your money, for $30 a night you get everything you need. The rooms and the amenities are kept pristine, I strongly recommend everyone to stay here to save your money and spend the rest around the island.

Excellent facilities. Sparkling Clean and well maintained ! Marie- Claire was a lovely host. While the rooms are twin, MarieClaire locked two twins together and my partners and I had a King for the week ! There is a great kitchen. Clean share bath facilities and the accommodation is located close to everything. It was a gift to stay at such a great place with such a lovely host on beautiful Stradbroke ! Will be back. Thank you !

I would give this 6/5 stars if I could. Very clean and well priced accommodation. Marie Claire is a very accommodating and knowledgeable host, and directed us to all the best spots of the island. It was a pleasure to stay!

Very clean, great location, excellent price. Brief walk to food stores, museum, beaches and ferry. Owner Marie-claire is friendly and very helpful offering useful information about the island and all there is to see and do. The amenities are spotless, beds very comfortable. Very relaxing. If staying here make sure to catch Sealink ferry as it is only 5-10 min walk to accommodation. If after simple, clean, safe, well run place to stay this is it.

Great service from the host, rooms were very clean and tidy, great location, really good facilities and amenities! Mrs Marie Claire was lovely and knowledgeable from the surroundings with good advice on where to go and do around the island!

I give this place 5 stars because it's a very simple affordable place to stay very clean you're supporting the the local indigenous people. Going back from my second stay Marie the caretaker very lovely lady make sure you are comfortable. Share bathroom kitchenette free Wi-Fi no TV cross the road from the club if you want a cheap holiday I recommend stay here

Had a lovely 2 night stay here while I worked on Stradbroke Island. Such a great location and Marie-Claire was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and had everything I needed plus a great kitchen area too!
