My son and I stayed in a two bedroom cabin for 3 nights. Paid around $609 for the 3 nights. It was not worth my money. I can handle a small cabin but the cabin smelt really bad, the screen door wouldn't shut so I could have the door open for fresh air. The bathroom light wasnt working either, so we had to have a shower before it got dark. The reception area smelt so bad of smoke. I walked out coughing it was that bad. I would not recommend staying here

Had to make a late booking due to not being able to get in anywhere else on our way home. Barbra in reception was very helpful and was able to put us on a powered slab site which was great. The caravan park was super clean and tidy and the site that we were given was great, beautifully grassed and close to the amenities which were faultless, super clean and shower had great pressure and hot water. We used the camp kitchen also to cook dinner and that was also spotless and tidy and also even had a heater. The location on the caravan park is also great, close distance to walk or drive into town and also close to petrol stations. All in all we had a great one nights stay and will keep it in mind as a place to stay in our future travels. Only thing is that it is a little pricey for caravan accomodation (powered sites) compared to other caravan parks that we have stayed in. Owen Bocksette

We're not long back from our trip to Moss Vale, NSW where we stayed at the Moss Vale Caravan Park. If you're heading that way we would definitely recommend you give it a try. Very neat and tidy and located within walking distance to the local RSL, servo, bakery and town itself. The people who served us at the front desk were lovely and "just helping out" they told us. There is a dump point in the park, however, it's located beside site 14 and that's where they put us. When I say beside I mean 2.5 meters away, we measured it. The site itself is a concrete pad off the side of the road and faces a nice green grassed area. I presume that area would be full of tents in peak season, but it was empty on this occasion. It really looks like the concrete pad was designed for people to pull up into off the roadway and empty their cartridges. Why they'd rent out this particular site is beyond me as it is an obvious point of contention. They are surely going to continue to get more one star reviews if they continue to put people on this site (site 14), which is a pity because it's a nice little caravan park. So, if you don't want to be on top of the dump point, make sure you state you do NOT want this site when booking. The park has all amenities - laundry, kitchen, showers, toilets etc and is located in the middle of the park for easy access. Overall it's a very pretty place and unusually quite, given it's close proximity to the main road in/out of Moss Vale. Besides having people emptying their cartridges so close to our van which ruled out any form of outside BBQ/cooking, it was a nice stay. Definitely going on our "go to" list of places to stay, just not site 14 again...lol

We spend quite a bit of time in the southern highlands during the winter running our dogs. We always stay at Moss vale holiday villages. The cabins are always clean and cosy nice comfortable beds we would not consider staying anywhere else. Thank you for always looking after us.

Reception Ladies pleasant, as too the men who work around the Park. Amenities are clean. The sloping caravan sights are something else (not good) at all. Very uneven sites, so difficult to level off our van on dirt with little grass. The owners have just built nice cabins and spent no money fixing the caravan sites. If it rains lookout the runoff from the new cabins would be dangerous for caravans down the hill. Such a shame.

My husband, dog & I were on our home run of our holiday when we stopped at Moss Vale. The park was quiet and very nice looking. We only stayed for 1 night but it was very relaxing.

Heater didn’t work, the oven didn’t work. Got a tingly sensation when using the shower. Uncomfortable bed with very little bed coverings. This cabin was considered an executive villa, would hate to see a budget villa. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Lovely quiet location, good sheltered cooking and bbq area. Best showers in my camping experience. We were contacted to ensure even with a late arrival we would get keys and all information. We had a concrete slab site with adjacent grass and shady tree. Definitely dog friendly . Will be back again.

The van park was very clean and my site was fairly easy to back onto. Staff very friendly and helpful. Centrally locatedto a lot of local attractions which was good. Will stay again when visiting Southern Highlands.

We had a powered slab site which was fine and very close to amenities which were spotless with excellent hot water in the showers. The campgrounds were clean, tidy and well maintained.

Asked for a cabin with a veranda, but they gave us a deluxe cabin that was filthy & the Screen door didn’t work. Through the night I woke up freezing they had no blankets only an old bedspread. It’s a joke that they called it a deluxe cabin . We stayed there for 3 nights & it wasn’t cheap. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, I only wished I had read the reviews b4 I booked.👎

I like staying here but I think the rooms need a refresh. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of extra blankets for the cold nights. Would be great to be able to sweep the floors if you make a mess so a broom etc would be useful. The people are so very nice and its peaceful and thats why I keep coming back! Service 5 stars Park 5 stars Staff 5 stars Cabins need a refresh

Stayed at the studio cabins and left very impressed . Modern cabin . Well appointed with new appliances, stove top , fridge, microwave and pod coffee maker Bed was clean and comfortable. Bargroom also was clean and with the expected toiletries . The facilities in the caravan park were good . With a laundry with driers available. The caravan part looks green and very personable . Staff were also friendly and helpful . Overall a pleasant stay .

2 stars for good clean bathroom facilities. Our powered site? was on the side of the road, boxed in so we had 1 metre at the back of our coaster backing onto the side of a cabin with window😲 - the caravan beside us was 2 metres away, they weren't impressed either. We were tired and I thought all the other powered larger sites must have been booked - wrong, many vacant proper powered sites were vacant all night. The people in the office were pleasant however the cigarette fumes emanating from the reception were ghastly. Pretty park but won't be back.

So disappointed for the price we paid. We paid $240 for 3 nights on a powered site. Our site was on a grassy hill (that we found our mattresses sliding down overnight) that was only about 5m from the dump point. The power adapter was on the ramp rail of one of the cabins, which was only about 2m from campsite 15 and was awkward to use. We felt very claustrophobic! The camp kitchen is bare bones, and the one amenities were on the other side of the caravan park. The plus side is that its a 15 minute walk into town, and is driving distance from lots of cool places. Just a disappointing caravan park. For what we paid, it was definitely not worth it. We asked around and 3 other groups also felt disappointed and let down too.
