Not a first time here, venue it’s is beautiful, awesome location, good and reasonably fast service. Only downside is a quality of food for the price. Meals are pretty flavourless. I am sure that such venue that is always pretty busy could arrange for a better kitchen team to make everyone proud. Large awesome selection but quality is average and the cost is pretty high. I absolutely love the venue and location, however I really hope they will restructure kitchen soon to improve.

Absolutely luv this place. Such a beautiful, relaxed environment. I love the massive bifold doors, it opens the restaurant up and gives it such a relaxed feel. Added to that is casual easy listening music, watching the water glistening and the sounds of birds chirping. It really is a beautiful setting. The food is always tasty and fresh! The staff are lovely and we always get greeted with a smile 🙂

The atmosphere and food here are fantastic. So, whenever friends from abroad visit, we always have dinner here. Every time I come, my family and friends have a great time. One unfortunate thing is that the food comes out too late, but it's nice that there is a playground where children can play and a wide lawn where they can run.

Absolutely amazing restaurant food and drinks!! Always lovely atmosphere, beautifully set up and never feeling like I'm waiting long for anything. Staff are always polite warm and friendly! Love coming here and being so close to the beach too, also super love the heaters for winter outside!! Twinkly lights and freedom to walk around is lovely.

Absolutely beautiful venue. Fantastic views, great location, great layout with lots of see and do. Great children's playground. I attended a UB40 concert recently and I couldn't recommend this venue highly enough. The security staff were very friendly and helpful and were gracious with all of the patrons. A range of areas to view the stage when one wasn't enjoying the great views was fantastic and the staff were all friendly and the service was fantastic. We were lucky to have tickets which to our surprise covered an array of platters of food which catered to vegetarian and gluten free diets as well a delicious variety of yummy munchies for those with no dietary restrictions. These were delivered throughout the entire 7hr event by staff with a smile on their faces which coupled with the awesome atmosphere made the afternoon one to remember. A definite ten out of ten!!

Such a great location ruined by poor management decisions. No bar menu on the weekend (really?) meant we had to book at the restaurant to eat. So despite having a lovely spot looking over the water, we then had to move into the indoor dining area to eat our meal (under 15m from where we were originally sitting). Nowhere near as nice inside - we could have been at any Australian indoor club or pub. So we then sat inside and ate so pretty average burgers at super expensive prices. Ruined what could have been a lovely afternoon at a great location. I would have forgiven the poor meal if we had the nice view to at least look over and an easier ordering process. What a shame they've ruined this by so many rules and regulations.

Gorgeous food, atmosphere and staff. Couldn't rate this place any higher. The seafood is so fresh and well prepared. Steak cooked to perfection. Barramundi and Garlic pizza also get a vote. Eaten twice already since visiting and will be back again before leaving. Playground for the kids is out of this world!

Enjoyed an 80th here with over 60 guests. The venue was beautiful and our section was great, as we could spill over onto the outside grassed area with kids. The food and bar service were wonderful. Jordan took great care of our large group. Very friendly and helpful. We also met here for a few meals at the restaurant and Oyster Shed. The grandkids had a ball in the play areas and trampoline. The service was fantastic and prices were what we expected. The whole venue is amazing and so pretty at night, with amazing views during the day! Check it out!

Went to dinner on a Friday night with 8 friends. We arrived at 7pm and half of us had ordered food by 7:15. The other half went to order through the app and it wouldn’t let them. They then went to the bar to order and they said that the kitchen was closed due to being busy and we needed to go to the restaurant to order. We went to the restaurant and were told that we needed a table at the restaurant to order food, even though we already had a table at the bar. After talking back and forth with 3 different staff members for over 40 minutes, explaining that we just wanted to eat with our friends where we were previously sat they gave us a table at the restaurant and told us they would deliver the food to the bar where the rest of our friends were already seated and waiting on food. All the staff were not helpful and did not know what was going on. By the time we ordered food it was 8pm. The food ordered earlier took an over an hour for 2 pizzas to come out. The pizzas were undercooked and looked like they were just frozen pizzas from the grocery shop. Very disappointed in the way staff handled the situation and the quality of the food. Had previous great experiences but this was just not it.

We attended a wedding recently. Beautiful, idyllic spot and perfect weather. After the wedding we relaxed at the bar and ordered some food (delicious calamari and sweet potato fries) and then headed to the Oyster Bar for the reception. This has been recently renovated and they have done a fantastic job. Beautifully decorated with waterfront location. Perfect for groups and couples. The service cold not be faulted and a big thank you to the lovely wait staff who mended my shoe.

Recently enjoyed lunch here with my partner on a Friday. We had booked ahead however that probably wasn’t necessary. Meals were quite good an d also a good size. I enjoyed the chicken parmigiana and my partner, the seafood paella which was a chef special, and both were great.

Great place to come and eat, has so much for the children to do. The playground is amazing. All the lights around the place makes the place feel magical when the sun's down. Such a great place. Owners have really thought about it with the children in mind when coming up with this amazing place. Highly recommend it. Food was yummy, prices we're great and coffee was great. Would definitely be back here.

Stunning location, love the large open grassed areas. Upmarket decor with a laid back pub feel. Food was good , service was fast considering how busy it was . Large queues at the bar but you can order your drinks from your seat via their app! Jetty and waterfront location . Parking and traffic is a issue when there is an event on but they do open the adjacent vacant lot to accommodate cars. Overall a brilliant place to go. I haven't been to any major music events there but I imagine you would be very well catered for . (•‿•)

I attended a conference and was in and around much of the grounds. The landscape and gardens are beautifully manicured, the areas to have a drink or meal are vast and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. I ate at the restaurant and also the provided meals and snacks as part of the conference and was pleasantly surprised at both the speed and quality. I will definitely return and bring family and friends. Thank you for a great experience.

Better than expected! My family stopped in here for lunch. We were very impressed. Generous serving sizes all round. The meals were very nice and the wine selection was impressive (not many places can offer you a good selection of wine by the glass). We were all very happy and would eat there again.

Literally I would say that this place is literally taken inflation to next level as I got a seafood basket to share with my son cost $49 dollars I mean for that sort of price you would think it would be a smorgasbord of fried seafood got 4 prawns 4 calamari and 2 pieces of battered fish and chips with salad had a better feed from the local chip shop during the day that to be quite honest was nicer hate these places taking advantage of tourists for convenience totally sucks they can't serve a decent feed for prices they charge what a joke. Definitely stay at the resort wouldn't eat at the hotel again go into town for a feed of true locals who care about feeding people instead of some owner that's just looking to line their pockets.

Awesome establishment and venue. Great place for families which there is so much to do for the kids. Food here is amazing. The customer service is on point and the staff are very accommodating to your needs. Definitely coming back here when I'm next in the area

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon for my wedding anniversary and couldn't be happier. I am definitely going to recommend it for everyone. Beautiful place, great vibes, great service, reasonable prices, what an amazing place to be! We are definitely going back! Our booking was for 2pm and we arrived at 12pm. As we couldn't anticipate the booking, we went down to the Oyster Shed, which was just perfect and it's definitely a MUST! Fresh seafood, good cocktails, great views, amazing atmosphere! Great for families with kids, couples or just you and your friends! Then we went back to the main restaurant, our table was on a perfect location, drinks coming super quickly, food took a little while on both the main restaurant and at the Oyster Shed but we couldn't care less as we were just enjoying the vibes and the great singer with live music. We loved everything and even set our picnic blanket on the grass after lunch to relax before driving back. Thank you guys for the amazing time and see you next time! = )

Great food and great venue in a picturesque location. A really good place for families with a big playground and plenty of open space. Only criticism was dining inside with a band playing, which was quite loud and didn't allow our group to have a conversation with each other. Thankfully they finished part way through our meal and was replaced by some background music.

We were staying at Big4 (loved it) and had dinner here on our first night. The interior is a bit dim and dated. I feel a change of flooring and brighter lighting will improve the atmosphere. The tables are also segregated by rows of gifts and merchandise, so the dining area feels cluttered and confusing. I would suggest moving the gifts to one area to create more cohesion to the restaurant and take away the “garage sale” feel. Our wine and food took a long time to arrive though our kids meals did come out quite quickly. The chips in the kids meal was undercooked though the chips we had earlier at the bar were really good. Our actual mains were quite tasty. Despite the wait on food and bev, service was friendly and someone did come around to ask us how the food was, which was a nice touch. We loved the child-friendliness of the venue and I truly believe that with also renovation and streamlining of service, this would be a top notch establishment in Brisbane. We were going to dine here again the following evening but instead went to Oyster Shed, which I think is part of the same business but had the more inviting, contemporary dining space.

Great venue that encompasses a live event venue. The set up has a great kids playground with a jumping cushion and areas that are more like retail shops. The view over the passage is delightful and the whole hotel has spectacular plants everywhere. The food was lovely and you order everything through a phone app. It would be a nice place to take an interstate or international visitors. The surf beach is a short drive away and has a dog park. We saw dolphins feeding right in the shore break and later a dolphin repeatedly gave us a fabulous show by repeatedly jumping high out of the ocean. Worth the drive.

Nice venue and facilities are normally exceptional (there was however a dookie on the ladies bathroom floor around 1:30pm). We ordered three chicken parmigiana and the presentation was good but the food itself was bland and tasteless, even when laden with a ridiculous amount of s&p. To be honest the free water on the table was probably the tastiest thing I had the whole 90 minutes I was there. Happy to never go again!

Great sunday afternoon and dinner here. Our waiter Xavier gave us great service. Food/Drinks ordered via app arrived very quickly and were delicious. Kids loved the space to run around as well as the large outdoor playground and indoor games room. Ice creams for dessert. Highly recommend going. Especially if staying next door at the Big 4 as there is a side door making it only 100m away.

WOW, WOW, WOW. Loved this pub. It is amazing. So many different areas to settle into and enjoy a drink. The dining area is also brilliant with lovely areas to relax over delicious food and conversation. The quality of the food was good and look forward to getting back there.

HORRIBLE. NOT RECOMMENDED. Our family met up here today for a meal and a get together. Squealing loud music so was difficult to chat over the noise. Overpriced drinks and inedible food. Our roast pork pizza was thick globs of chutney and sauce with a tiny bit of pork sprinkled on. Was so awful we could not eat it. Later, we were chatting and swapping gifts in the car park to be swooped on by staff members who inferred that we had stolen a high chair( one of the items the family was gifting) FFS, whats wrong with these people? EDIT: Well we did mention to a staff member about the loud music and went to sit outside after the music got louder. Did mention about the awful pizza and your staff member said nothing, just walked away from us. DID feel attacked in the car park as two staff swooped upon us on their quad bike and another charged out from the hotel. YOU HAD NO PROOF that we had stolen anything, No camera pics or video, just accusations.

Great family location. Pool area, games room, family activities, putt putt and giant chess are great ways to fill your day or simply relax by the pool bar and enjoy some fantastic cocktails. Would be awesome if their was a section for caravans or campers that was a quiet zone with no music playing for those with sensory needs but that's the only constructive feedback. Overall, highly recommend for a great family holiday.

Myself and my husband decided on the spare of the moment to go to Sandstone Hotel, we have never been before and we did not make a booking as it was a last minute decision, we arrived at roughly 5pm, we had a quick look around before we went up to the cashier, there were so many vacant tables. We asked if we can please have a table for my husband and one for a person in a wheelchair as I am in wheelchair we were told that they are fully booked and no availability to 7.30pm, we would of only had dinner then gone. We were disgusted as we have been to places and they have always made an effort to accommodate. We came from the Gold Coast, I understand we didn’t book but sometimes people just decide at the last minute. We would have loved to check out the place and the view was gorgeous which we noticed while looking around. disappointed 😞 We won’t be back 😡

The Cors Concert. Great venue, however, I had to line up for 40 minutes for food. Therefore, the venue should have double the food vans. Also wanted a coffee. Only one van sold coffee with another huge line. So, for the money paid to see the concert, one spends much time lining up. Come on Sandstone Point Hotel, fix this issue. Who wants to spend 90 minutes lined up for food and a coffee. Fantastic concert though.

My brother recently got married here and to say it was stunning is an understatement. The facilities are great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't stay, but friends and family did. The big 4 cottages are spacious and clean and have plenty of activities for the kids. Would highly recommend for a wedding or just for a holiday

Went there today for a family catch up. Booked for 12pm, we arrived on time had drinks and entrees by 12:40pm. Our mains didn’t arrive until 1:20pm and then whilst in the middle of eating a team member approached us and told us we had to be out in 17 minutes as they needed the table for the next reservation. Whilst I understand that places do have time constraints to work with and that is completely fine but I do not appreciate being told mid meal to hurry up when it took over an hour to receive our meal to start with. Feeling very disappointed with this service

Nice place, small crowd esp for a weekend, enjoyable even just with digital music. Transport a little restricted, book ahead if needed. Must admit, the 'sister' hotel Eaton's Hill has been consistently better all round, meals, staff, crowd, music.. although very enjoyable & we will return. Beautiful setting!

Decided to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and have dinner. Waited 1 hour and had to ask if they still had our order as other tables that had been arriving after us had received theirs. Finally arrived with my husband's dinner and then my dinner 5 minutes later. I encouraged him to eat as I didn't want his food to go cold. Not a very special celebration when you wait so long and then have to start eating alone. The food was lovely but service let the evening down.

The location is beautiful however our experience wasn’t good. We waited to be seated at the restaurant for a good few minutes with no acknowledgment. The wait staff may not like their jobs as they didn’t seem to want to interact much or politely. The food took an hour exactly to come out, one steak over cooked, one steak under cooked. Sauces were forgotten. Considering the prices, I hope others have better experiences.

I was dissatisfied with the service at the bar . I arrived with 2 of my friends. we ordered 1 cold drink and 2 hot drinks and we were told it will be a little while for the hot drinks as 1 staff member had called in sick. well that's not my problem. this is a multimillion dollar establishment and it appears that saving money is more important than providing great service. I think for such an establishment to run on minimal staffing is highly inappropriate. where does customer service fit in here. we ordered a second round of the same and had to wait the half hour or so to get these same drinks for the second time. not good for business. they need to rethink their priorities. it's not acceptable to keep someone waiting for 30 minutes for a hot drink 2 times in a row.

Stood at the counter of the oyster bar for 5 minutes. No acknowledgement, no eye contact, no ‘will be with you in a min’ people continually walking back and forth past us. Too busy with their own importance to serve us. We walked out. We then decided to head to the restaurant, where they accommodated us. Lovely service and food.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Sandstone Point Hotel. We chose to dine here following our wedding ceremony. While the food was delicious and the service on point, my only feedback is regarding the app to order from kitchen to table. The majority of the menu items on the app were listed as NOT AVAILABLE so the selection from the menu via the app was very slim. However, we still enjoyed a delicious meal in a wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful view. I would definitely dine here again but I would be more inclined to order from the counter rather than from my table via the app. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. ❤️

The atmosphere was fantastic, great spot for catching up with friends and family. The food was a tad on the high side in terms of price and nothing small to eat if you are not very hungry. The service was excellent, and wait staff were nice. I would say just make sure you make a booking before you go as it gets busy quick n fills up.

Came here to have lunch for a friend's birthday. Everything was going well until the end. Another friend ordered a pot of tea and after half hour we still have not received it. At this point we were all ready to head out and everyone finished their dessert so he asked for a refund after bringing it to their attention. The lady, don't know if she was a manager or supervisor or what, was incredibly annoyed our friend wanted a refund instead of further waiting for the pot of tea. She came to our table with a very disgruntled look and gave our friend $4.50 and walked away. No apologies, didn't confirm if it was a cup or pot of tea that was ordered, no acknowledgement. Incredibly rude considering the staff made the mistake and forgot to brew a pot of tea for 30 minutes. Our friend didn't even want to bother or cause a scene and just wanted to walk around outdoors with his wife and keep the mood positive. The pot of tea was for his wife, whom we were celebrating her birthday, and whom also has terminal cancer. Regardless of our experience before this, that left a very bad impression and we will never be going back. All over a $4.50 refund when your staff made the mistake and then your other staff was incredibly rude.

Went for dinner for the first time on Friday night. Didn't book and waited for a table which was fair given it was busy. Once seated used the app to order. Meals came quicker than estimated. Barramundi was great but hubby ordered the parmy that was cold. Attended Legends on the Lawn on Saturday where we had a good time. Venue for this type of event is great except some of your security need to actually do their jobs. We paid for VIP tickets and spent most of the day asking for people in front to move or sit down. There is a standing area designated for this reason and security did nothing when we asked for their assistance. Food service in the VIP was great and staff were friendly.

Beautiful location and venue. Playground is fantastic. Would not recommend ordering the $140 seafood platter or the $140 meat platter. Both extremely overpriced and disappointing. The staff were extremely rude - especially the young ones behind the bar. I asked one lady if she would like our menus as we had finished with them and she snapped back ‘I’m bar staff I don’t take them’ And stormed away. It’s a shame that in hospitality industry your staff are so rude and dismissive.

My family and I had dinner here. I recommend pre booking. This place is very well presented, comfortable, has a laid back atmosphere. However, it can get a little noisy at the inside dining area depending on the time you dine. The staff are attentive. The food is on the pricey side but it's well prepared and tastes great. Highly recommend.

My first visit and how could I not enjoy the beautiful building and setting. Boxing Day with family and it wasn't overly busy, a pleasant surprise. The food had generous servings and a decent selection to choose from. The only area that let the day down was the service from start to finish, large family booking, given a small table by mistake, food was delivered in stages, one person never got their meal at all and had to go ask for this to be rectified asap, it took a fair while. Lots of staff were new / learning and on a Boxing Day holiday I felt for them but the lack of service clouded my first experience of the place. Would I return, yes , in hope that it improves in this area.

We visited this place for the first time with my family for a midweek lunch. The location of the venue is amazing, I loved the decor and views from the outdoor seats. The staff seemed really down in the dumps, not very attentive and walked around like they didn't want to be there. It was very noticeable. Food was reasonable, quite a few choices on offer, everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

Visited Sandstone Point Hotel for the first time yesterday! Amazing location & Venue. Busy yet relaxed atmosphere & stunning scenery. We interacted & were served by Emily - she was great. Went for This That Music Festival (finally after being postponed for 1.5 years!) Great venue, was a hot day but venue had nice little patches of shade. Love that there are picnic tables as well. Relaxed atmosphere, not too packed with plenty of room to move. Lots of parking, and plenty of great food options too. Porta-loos are always a let down though...🤮 and the line to get in was unbearable in the sun, but overall very impressed with the venue.

Great food, friendly staff, awesome selection of food and especially alcoholic beverages, if they know how to make it, they'll do it for you. They have an amazing playground including huge climbing towers, slides and a huge bouncing balloon tramp, all fenced in and gated so you don't have to worry too much about the little ones getting out if you loose sight of then for a second. They events there are amazing and always do a family friendly something early on which is super awesome and accommodating!

5 of us had lunch 17/06/22. In the restaurant ….Great venue, service, wonderful decor and view. Food was amazing and our hostess was incredible - Emily - nothing was too much for her. Very pleasant took photos cleaned up our empty plates without being obtrusive All in all a wonderful experience and would certainly take interstate and overseas visitors there without question. Thank you once again lovely Emily also the pleasant young man at the ice cream till with the beard. A lovely special outing …. Marilyn Moody & Family
