Visiting Windy Park Alpacas was one of the highlights of our trip to Tassie!! Run by a lovely couple, we got to have a tour of the farm and meet many cute animals! We saw alpaca guinea pigs, goats including a 2 week old baby goat that I got to bottle feed, baby bunnies and a massive bunny, a "miniature" pig (we went "pig fishing"!) and fed alpacas and a llama. They also showed us how alpaca wool is processed and there's a cute shop with lots of very affordable handmade items! I bought a handmade alpaca wool beanie for $35. 1000% worth visiting!! We loved it so much as two young adults, and I'm sure kids would love it too. It costed both of us $20 in total for the farm tour/visit and so worth it.

Surprised my wife with a visit to windy park alpacas while touring around Tasmania on a motorbike. Being a typical male I didn’t check the opening hours and we rocked up an hour and half early. Was met by a lovely guy at the gate who said “no problem , just give me a minute “. We experienced the best farm tour imaginable. We met and fed many goats, alpacas, rabbits, lamas, a miniature pig, chickens, lyrebird, and others. They have a fantastic gift shop full of all things Alpaca also. I highly recommend a visit as they are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Just be sure to check their hour’s first 😊

Cheryl and Kim welcomed my family and I to their farm with such kindness and generosity, felt like seeing long lost family for a catch up:). We just happened to be there right as they were coming back home. Make sure you call or msg them on their mobile prior to coming, as they may have other appointments and possibly might be out when you come over, and please bring cash for the admission fee. As for the animals, wow wow wow! Cashmere goats to miniature pigs and albino rabbits, Llamas, Alpacas, peacocks and more.... We were blown away by the variety. Keep in mind, Alpacas can be temperamental, copped a point blank spit all over my face cos I wasn't giving that one enough feed. Kids friendly too, my little one had so much fun, even got to give a 1 week old kid goat a bottle feed and also got to play with the miniature pig, which is bigger than you think. Thankyou so much for welcoming us to you humble abode Cheryl and Kim, we had a blast!

Very nice little farm run by a lovely couple. Even though the visit wasn't planned we still got quite a nice personal tour. We got to feed alpacas, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs and Oliver the pig. Very informative demo of how wool gets processed and lots of interesting items in the shop too. Kim and Cheryl treat the animals like family. Highly recommend!

We had the best afternoon of our holiday at Windy Farm. Hosts were amazing, their knowledge and commitment were evident in their enthusiasm to make our visit special. The animals were just as friendly as the hosts, especially Jack, what a character. Well worth a visit, we will be recommending it to all who will listen.
