Overpriced and very poor service. Failed to give me all the information I needed to make a decision about potential treatment for my sleep apnea. After suffering through a very uncomfortable sleep test in poor facilities, I was told I had sleep apnea and he advised a course of treatment. He failed to inform me that if I decided not to go ahead with buying his very overpriced CPAP machine ($2000) and book in for a second sleep test (another $750 on top of the $750 I paid for the first test) and $300 for another consultation that he would report me to Transport NSW, and that my licence would be suspended until I did all of the above. Due to financial restraints, I declined the treatment and 3 months later received a letter from Transport NSW that my licence was suspended. It took me 3 months to get it back again. This disrupted not only my work but forced my seriously ill wife to transport our children around until my licence was restored. Not once, either by email, phone, or in our 2 face to face meetings, did Dr Chan inform me that he could or would do this if I declined the expensive treatment. Very poor form and a clear money grab. Fortunately, Transport NSW allowed me to visit another sleep specialist who supported me in acquiring a machine (at $700 cheaper than I was quoted by Dr Chan). Avoid, avoid, avoid!
