    Triage call was fine. Then call from a care coordinator with zero info of what her role is. She books you in for an appt, again I’m not sure what it’s for. Then rock up to said appt and she if off sick. I want to make it abundantly clear her being off sick is not the issue. Me having to rearrange work and to do that 2 family members had to rearrange their work to drop/pick up my kids is the issue. Me not being told she is off until I physically walked in is the issue. Me being told on the phone the next day when I’ve asked to be reassigned to a new care coordinator as I was worried it will happen again is the issue. That no one knows her work schedule and that’s why no one called me is the issue. The fact I was anxious all day and got myself to this appt for no reason is the issue. So when the receptionist tells me the care coordinator is only human maybe listen to what I’m actually upset about. Please note I had a confirmation text and a text the next day to ask me to call to rebook. So why couldn’t I get a text to say the the appt is cancelled.

    Wow. More than a few negative reviews. I was told I was being referred back to my GP, and my referral was now closed. Via letter. I never had an appointment. I assume the addition of emergency numbers at the base of the letter is acknowledgement from Mead, that my response to their complete lack of assistance may be negative. If my GP was efficient, why would I have asked to be referred to Mead in the first place?

    My partner attends this centre, had asked for a letter for court to state that he has mental illnesses. Not to get him out but to state in court. They did nothing but judge the situation stating his mental illness is drug induced so they can't help. Every appointment we have had in this place we have had nothing but judgement. Absolutely disgraceful 😤 Throw people in the ward and drug them with valiums to hide the fact they don't actually help anyone, then throw them out.

    Been useless both times I've had to come here. Never get called, they book in appointments when you work full time and then can't answer a phone call all week just so I could change the appointment. Also got told I'd be regularly checked up on while having medication withdrawals and been called once in the last 3 weeks. They'll just ring you during work as well and expect you to answer.

    After numerous calls to them (all unanswered) and receiving after hours texts threatening to cancel my referral if I didn’t respond by a certain date I’ve given up wasting my time, absolutely unprofessional and useless, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time

    Waited for a month for a follow up call that never came. Ended up with a session, only to be told they can't help and to look for alternative assistance. Complete waste of time. Don't bother.

    My sister came to this hospital and had private heath plan so got the help at the time that she needed, but unfortunately no follow up care after and resulted in her taking her own life as mental health needs on going attention and care plan.

    Wish I could give no stars. Waited 4 weeks for a referral after being ED at Armadale and Fiona Stanley. Had my GP put in a 3rd urgent referral just for them to deem me “not suitable for service” and not tell me. Had to find out myself and then they could not tell me why my referral was cancelled. Just told me to go back to my GP. Staff are extremely negligent, incompetent and an extreme lack of empathy. No one knew what the last person had told me but had all the wrong information.
