One of the must-visit places in Toowoomba if you're going as a visitor. We went there during the flower festival so there were lots of flowers and a few food trucks around. One side of the park had markets as well which was very nice and interesting to walk through. There is parking around the park and lots of benches/space to sit down and relax. There are toilets located in the park as well. Definitely a great place to visit πŸ™ŒπŸ’―

Acres of well maintained parkland, which includes The Botanical Gardens. All the flower beds are bare in the Autumn months. This is because they replace and replant ready for the Springtime. Good area for scooters and skateboards and push bikes, with even wide pathways. A separate area of the park has a large children's playground. There are interactive sections eg pipes to talk in and play,a hamster wheel flying fox, swings and slides. Beautiful Bunya Trees, with picnic tables and chairs.

25 hectares and a must visit around mid to late September for the Toowoomba Flower Festival. Packed full with gems throughout (markets, food, playgrounds and more) ; a tradition celebrated since October 21st 1950 to promote the local economic activity after WWII. I've been coming back for the past three years in a row and it never disappoints.

Nice little area for the little ones to play in including smaller slides. We took little tubes and the kids rode down the small slides. The large double tube ride has height restrictions so 3yo and 5yo couldn’t do that ride but could do the two other large slides with an adult. Only two of three showers working in the ladies area next to the entrance. Parking fills up quick. We managed to purchase our tickets online prior as it’s school holidays, price a little steep for a couple of hours but kids enjoyed it. Plenty of tables and chairs undercover to bring your own food, takeaway not permitted but small cafe onsite servicing coffee, fish and chips and some toasties and ice cream.

It was amazing. So fun. I love it. The slide are fast when you are on your back which is so fun but be aware that the pool is not the deepest and may scratch you when you go in. There is fun for all fr children to adults. The food is a bit expensive but worth it. Such nice employees but there is not enough because some of the slide close down for a little while.

I had beautiful time seeing vibrant floral colour at Queens Park Botanic. This is my first time visiting there but I'm impressed with this location where is good for family picnic, activities. The good thing is just short troll from the Toowoomba CBD. Definitely recommended one of the good place to visit in Spring and Summer. Please wear your warm clothes while you are visiting there because it is really WINDY and Freezing I am just under dress up for the weather πŸ˜„

Came for the carnival of flowers. My expectations might have been a but high but I was slightly underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong it was pretty but not omg wow. The parade was a maybe 10 odd floats and mostly a lot of people walking, a few cars and golf carts. It was well co trolled though so we felt safe. The event info staff were super nice and helpful. The food tricks there were overpriced in my opinion. $6 for a 600ml Pepsi Max or coke...you don't even pay that at a service station.

Beautiful park to walk through, have a picnic or bring the family to the amazing play ground. The flowers that were there from the previous flower season were beautiful. Plenty of parking and amenities so overall a great park to visit.

Spectacular as always during September! Fantastic display of simply gorgeous flowers. Lovely listening to music in the park, whilst having a gentle stroll through the park. Wonderful to visit alone, but even better experience if you bring a friend or your dog! The park is dog and bicycle friendly 😊

Beautiful park with many of the floral displays from the recent festival still there in the Botanical Garden section. I love their dog off leash area as it has gardens to explore. No fences but only a dead end quiet street nearby. A couple of watering stations for humans & dogs. & Several seats scattered around some in sun, some in shade.

It's OK πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Big park with nice trees but mainly dry grass. The flower beds look nice for Carnival of Flowers but the display wasn't very extensive compared to what I was expecting. Takes longer to walk through the park from Margaret St than it does to view the flowers.

I don’t know how this place look like on a normal day but during the Festival it is stunning. Lots of variety. However it was a bit crowded though. On the other side this park has a big playground for kids. A must visit place in Toowoomba !

Queens Park in Toowoomba was by far one of the most joyous experiences I have had when visiting a park the colour and beauty of the flowers and the well maintained grounds made it a fantastic place for children to explore and play I particularly found the amenities blocks to be in Prestige condition and had full confidence when using them. With areas designated for off-leash dog walking and other areas designated for sporting events Queens Park has it all. Be sure to bring your camera as the spectacular display of flowers here will dazzle you and give fantastic photos for you and your family.

This park has a lot of things to do whether for the kids, adults young/old or the dog. There's 2 play areas for the kids. The off leash area for your best mate to play. Also the garden area where the gardeners are always changing the flowers depending on the season or festival

Partner asked for ice for myself and our 18 month old when I tripped over, rude staff had absolutely no concern for either of us and my partner had to remind a staff member about the ice pack after a 10 minute wait and stating how important the ice was for us(I had ACL reconstruction in October 2020 and my son hit his head fairly hard and was dazed) and the desk lady just said "I work with NRL stars he'll be fine and the little one isn't even crying". Will not be returning to this aquatic center.

Went there yesterday. The Lifeguard with curly hair let me have one last go on the shotgun before it closed. Every lifeguard is polite. Canteen well managed but closes a bit early. Overall it is my favourite place to swim in Brisbane! Thanks Guys.

Here with a group of 12 yo boys for birthday party. They all had a ball. Enough variety to keep them entertained with slides and different pool areas. When we arrived were given a card to fill out for food choices despite having done this online when booking. Why not make it one or the other? Also online had salad rolls but card didn't. Was advised to give half hour notice for food but when we did they said it would take almost 2 hours. After negotiation it was 1.5 hours. Good shady area provided for birthday party and cake able to be stored in fridge. Thanks for a fun day

The place is great there are only 4 rides but it keeps you happy though the rides are all great as I said but there is one that goes unoccupied now and then there is another one that you need a tube but they only have two tunes and you have to wait in line for half an hour. The food was good but you had to wait 30 minutes the food was good a bit cold but other than that the place is amazing if you are or have kids I would highly recommend it.

  • 3/5 trevjack77 3 years ago on Google
The slides are fun, but there needs to be more rafts for one of the slides to help reduce wait times. The park felt grotty, with wet food dropped on the ground and tables and not near enough staff to keep on top of required cleaning. Plus the grass was at least 10cm long in the picnic table area. Overall, this place could be a great place to visit, but lacks attention to maintenance and cleaning. I won’t be in a hurry to go back until these issues are seen to.

  • 3/5 Craig W. 3 years ago on Google
Great facility, but unfortunately it's under staffed, which meant some of the slides weren't open or were only open for a sort period of time.

  • 4/5 Karly A. 3 years ago on Google
I didn’t check the price for water park for kids before hand and I felt it was a bit deal when I paid at the counter. ($30.90 for an adult and a child) If you want to know exact price, go to the Brisbane council website. And my 6 yo daughter is still short to use the ring ride so it was a bit disappointing. Still, my daughter enjoyed playing there and even though it’s school holiday it wasn’t really crowded both the water park and lap pool. Older kids absolutely would love to play at the big lap pool and in that case the price won’t be so bad. The water was clean and they have lockers for valuables.

A great place for kids to have fun. Only i thought the little kids slides might be a bit more smoother as the kids are not slide down them, there pushing themselves down them. But a great place and the birthday girls had a lot of fun and the family thanks u for a great day out..

  • 1/5 Ryan M. 3 years ago on Google
Terrible experience, we were told after paying to get in that we couldn't use the slides. The pump and chemical room gate right next the kids pool was wide open for children to wander into and the staff were unfriendly and uninterested in helping. Wont be back.

$60 for 2 adults and 3 kids. One slide wasn’t working, there were 3 slide mats for the whole park for one slide and the life guards just yell at everyone. The toilets were revolting...Such a waste of money. Disappointed.

The facilities in the place needs some updating. Otherwise it's changing rooms /showers are clean albeit some toilets can lack some toilet paper. The indoor pool is warm but why can't they do that to outdoor pools that's freezing cold in winter?

Big area, couple of swimming pools to chose from. One water slide which's always packed because everyone wants to get on it. Food here is very expensive and not of good quality, the bathrooms are gross. Staff are nice however and will help with anything.

Not only is it not value for money but the quality of food is atrocious especially for the price that you pay for it. Saw the staff brake so many hygiene standards that if done in a restaurant would get you fired.

What a beautiful and well kept park. Except for the very stinky skip bin located in one area that had a terrible smell!! Almost smack bang in the middle of Toowoomba is the amazing Queens Park. Playgrounds, big open fields to run around and play sports even. Plenty of great big trees 🌳 for a siesta even. We loved spending our Sunday afternoon exploring it. 😊

A large and very well maintained park, equipped with several playgrounds and points of interest. Great for a leisurely stroll and particularly pretty during certain seasons (Spring). Dogs are allowed on leash in the park, although there is an off leash on one side (unfenced). Plenty of pathways to choose from in addition to information boards providing some history of the park and plantations. A few playgrounds, monuments and toilet facilities throughout the park too.

This is a beautifully designed garden and a wonderful place to enjoy a stroll. There's enough larger trees around for shade, enough seating areas and so many beautiful flowers and water features as well. I love that we are able to walk our dogs with such a gorgeous setting. It's so sad that dog owners rarely get to enjoy such lovely settings so this place is wonderful. It's also a great place for photos with all the vibrancy and colours.

Undoubtedly this a spectacularly colourful floral park in spring and summer but unavoidably dull in later autumn into winter due to the emptied flower beds. Still, it's peaceful and presents a comfortable environment with big grassy areas and trees, as in Victorian practice, bought in from all over the world. Nicely maintained, there are a number of interesting monuments on display. Most exhibits are labelled, including the introduced trees.

During a recent getaway from the "Big Smoke ", my wife & I had the pleasure of spending some quality time in the State Heritage-listed Queens Park & Botanical Gardens located at 43 -73 Lindsay St, Toowoomba QLD 4350. Known as the Garden City, Toowoomba definitely stamps itself as just that with plenty of open green space in & around the local area's. We spent a very relaxing time walking through the vast open spaces of the parklands & then onto the magnificent Botanical Gardens. There were plenty of assortments of flowers πŸ’& plant's for the Summer season. The council gardening staff are to be commended for the diligent work that they carry out. I just couldn't get over just how clean & tidy the whole place was. The general public have plenty of access amenities such as public toilets, drinking water fountains & open grassed areas for families to enjoy picnics or just running around with their children. There is a large Playground located near the Botanical Gardens which definitely caters for energetic children. There are off leash & leashed areas for for any size dogs πŸ• Queens Park is a hive of activity during the Carnival of Flowers held during the month of September. Definitely worth ticking this off on your bucket list πŸ‘Œ

Beautiful park at the centre of Toowoomba which is amazing anytime of year. Rare large trees amount to a very unique collection if one takes time to read the plaques on the trees. The park emerges with other parks during September in the city each year to be park of the carnival of flowers event which is great for those who love perennials.

Toowoomba reminded me of the English Rural side, beautiful walks amongst the shady old trees, relaxed atmosphere. A chilled activity for people wanting to reconnect with nature, enjoy their down time/ me time. A Thank you note/ Appreciation of the hard work, carried by those hands that have sown the seeds at the beautiful botanic Gardens at Toowoomba!

Beautiful gardens during the flower festival. We stopped near the arch and had lunch courtesy of the historical society. Disappointed not to see anything regarding the Night Garden as seen online, a ferris wheel was operating and a carnival alley at the opposite end of the park outside the botanic gardens.
