Excellent school with fabulous credentials. I have had three children attend PHS all with fantastic results. Pittwater HS has been noted as one of best Sydney's high schools for many years. The academic excellence is outstanding. Every department showing incredible high level standards with award winning results. The music and theatrical departments have produced and exhibited exceptional high standard quality performances. When my son started there was a fabulous performance plus the music awards were presented by James Morrison whom had also attended Pittwater High School. Pittwater High School is the only urban school selected as a lighthouse school for the teaching of Agriculture and Primary Industries. “It’s great to see an urban school among those leading the way in agricultural education,” Mr Piccoli said. (Adrian Piccoli MP- Minister for Education NSW 2015) “To be chosen to be part of this program is a particular honour for Pittwater High because they are showing these exemplary standards in an urban environment,” Member for Pittwater and Minister for Planning Rob Stokes said. “Pittwater High has a proud history of agricultural education and this announcement recognises and rewards its innovation and success on a state-wide scale.” PHS shows continual brilliance in maintaining and developing advanced educational programs with top level academic and social standards.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pittwater High School, and I must say, it was an experience unlike any other! What sets this school apart is their adorable mascot and beloved resident sheep, Gary. Here's why Pittwater High School deserves a 4-star rating: Gary the Sheep: The presence of Gary adds a delightful touch to the school's atmosphere. It's not every day that you come across a school with a friendly and lovable sheep as a mascot. Gary brings a sense of charm and uniqueness, making the school truly memorable. Students and staff alike seem to adore him, and he adds a touch of nature to the campus. Welcoming Environment: From the moment I stepped foot on the premises, I felt a warm and welcoming vibe. The faculty, staff, and students were friendly and approachable, creating a positive environment conducive to learning. The sense of community at Pittwater High School is truly commendable, and it's evident that everyone genuinely cares about each other's well-being. Academic Excellence: Pittwater High School is committed to academic excellence. The teachers I interacted with were knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, and they demonstrated a genuine interest in their students' success. The school offers a wide range of subjects and extracurricular activities, allowing students to explore their interests and develop their skills. Engaging Extracurriculars: Pittwater High School goes above and beyond to provide students with a variety of extracurricular activities. Whether it's sports, music, arts, or clubs, there is something for everyone to get involved in. These activities help foster a well-rounded education and provide students with opportunities for personal growth and development. Overall, Pittwater High School exceeded my expectations. The presence of Gary the Sheep adds an element of joy and quirkiness, while the school's commitment to academic excellence and fostering a welcoming environment is truly commendable. If you're looking for a unique educational experience with a touch of nature, Pittwater High School is the place to be!

I once arrived close to the bell at school to see my teacher standing on the pathway. I waved and she started to sprint over to me. However as she approached I noticed the large barbwire wrapped wooden baseball bat that she had hidden up her sleeve. Naturally, this was quite concerning so I began to back away. I was too late unfortunately and once close enough she unleashed her bat and shattered both my kneecaps with a single swing. The bell went, so as I writhed on the ground in pain she gave me an after school detention for arriving late. Best day of my life!! 10/10 school!!

I can't find the AMUBOSM facilities at the address 1668 Pittwater Rd Mona Vale NSW 2103 Australia. I don't know how I can live my life anymore, I travelled all the way from my home town to Pittwaters , and it turns out that the AMUBOSM facilities didn't even exist. 0/10 life ruined

George the "one-star wonder" who appears to have awarded PHS one star claims to live in Melbourne and doesn't rate - - a true nonentity in his own lunchbox. I'm writing to acknowledge the Australia-wide recognition of Peter Phelps PHS, Pittwater High male school captain in 1977, who stood up and publicly supported 2014 Australian of the Year, multiple Brownlow medallist and Sydney Swans star AFL player in contrast to those bigots like shock jocks who only seek (contrary to what they wrote in the late 1980s and 90s) to cause disunity and racial slur. Stan Walters Soc Sci Master PHS 1977 - 1998. PHS IS a great school for ALL levels of students and always has been since inception in 1963.
