My partner and I visit the German heritage last weekend. The volunteers have been very accommodating and knowledgeable about the farmhouse. Great to see some German history in the area. Also so beautiful to see how well the garden is maintained. Reminds me back on my home country in Germany. We really enjoyed this little excursion.

This old homestead and place overall is truly a hidden gem. The homestead has been restored wonderfully with original artefacts and a beautiful garden with original plants. The tour given was fantastic, being very informative and utterly captivating. I would highly recommend others visit this place and to also join the tours on offer.

Thomastown Pioneer precinct is fascinating. The volunteers here are really great. There's a lot to see in such a small area. The touchscreen muliltimedia display inside is worth the price of admission alone! So much awesome history. The garden has been designed to have flowers in bloom all year round, and most of the plants are historically significant. Easy five star review. Excellent.

I adore visiting historic sites and this one is a gem. What an amazing job they've done preserving this place in the middle of suburbia. Well worth a visit, but a book and make a donation to assist this worthwhile asset to the community.

Really rated this little slice of Victorian history that’s one of the last remaining open spaces in Thomastown. This is the site of one of the first German settlements and the cute little farmhouse, outhouses, stables, church and cemetery are well worth a visit. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. 5 stars!
