This is a place that briefly restores your faith in humanity, and that maybe we can finally get to a point where animals aren't commodities. The animals (deservedly) have a great life here and some of them very obviously love all the attention they get from the tour groups, many have figured out head butts and leaning into legs gets them pats and cuddles 🤣 it was a great tour, and I liked that the staff were very clear in terms of letting the animals approach us and being respectful of the ones that don't really love humans yet, this isn't a money grabbing scheme where they let you play with the animals as a free for all. Thank you guys for running such a kind and wonderful place, I'm hoping I can come back soon.

Absolutely incredible animal sanctuary. Went for the first time on a premium tour and loved every minute. Helpful guide led us through animal paddocks and spoke about certain residents’ stories of how they were rescued. You are able to get up close and personal for pats and photos with the animals. Especially loved seeing the piggies! The gift shop also has some really nice things, and cost is a secondary thought when you know that the proceeds are helping sustain the sanctuary and the animals! Will definitely return here in the future.

We give EDGAR'S MISSION 5/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was an event, we will never forget. Many thanks to our tour guide "Kyle" (I hope I spell the name correctly) the tour was very informative and fun. Every animal that lives on this farm has a wonderful life - the friendly staff takes care of the animals with Love and kindness and spoils every single animal with lots of cuddles. What a beautiful place. That must be the animal heaven on earth. 🍀🍀🍀 We'd love to come back sometime. Greetings from Germany.

Lucky animals that have been saved and rehabilitated from adverse situations & injuries .Plenty to see & learn throughout the spacious property that is managed by Pam & the crew. I’ve been here a couple of times and found the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommended and I miss Ruby the WonderDog 😍.

The Edgar's Misson team have built something beautiful just outside of Melbourne. All of the animals are so well kept after, and the volunteers are so knowledgeable in the backstory and personalities of every animal in their care. If you don't like farm animals or the smell of farms, this is obviously not the place for you.

Absolutely loved the experience and the tour led by the lovely Jane. Highly recommend for you to visit if you're planning to go down to the Lancefield area. Book in advance though as spots get filled up very quickly! Be mindful of how you interact with all the animals - some are very friendly while others prefer to stay at a distance. Great education for all ages especially for kids! Happy 2 years to Barrack🎉

Rented a Tiny Home at this place and learned about Edgar’s Mission. Had no idea this place existed until then! Went on their Saturday 90-min tour and learned a lot about the rescued farm animals. Tour guide was passionate at teaching us about how animals were treated in Australia. It was a great experience meeting all of the animals as well! Fed the cows and petted some goats and pigs! Very cute.

This is one of my favourite places and I’ve loved every visit. This was my first stay in one of their Tiny Houses (we were in Edgar’s Cottage) and can genuinely say it was one of the most peaceful and soul filling weekends I’ve had in a while. The stay included a 90min tour (our tour guide was Lauren and she was fantastic), the ability to wander the farm and interact with the beautiful rescued animals was heaven. Each with their own story, worthy of telling. The houses are exactly as the name reflects and it totally works. Friends stayed next door (Timmy’s Villa) which was equally adorable. The interiors are beautifully thought out and little touches with the decors (themed to suit their namesakes) topped it off. It was awesome to be able to spend the weekend on this incredible place. Running in to Pam and Ruby was the perfect way to finish off a brilliant weekend. Thankyou! If you aren’t able to stay, make sure you at least get up there for one of their tours!

This wasn't my first visit but I still enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The staff is so friendly & the animal residents are so adorable. The animals are well taken care of & it shows. They're so full of personality & you can tell they're genuinely happy. I also love that the staff educate visitors on the cruel industries that are responsible for the animals being there in the first place. It takes courage to do that & they do it so well. If you want to take a trip to a heart-warming paradise full of feathery & furry hopefuls, I highly recommend Edgar's Mission. Also please consider making a monetary or material donation. :)

What an awesome experience to be able to visit Edgar's Mission. Jane and Graham were fantastic and provided lots of information about the entire EM family of animals. What an incredible setup and caring environment for animals that just want to live, love and be loved. Is it really so hard for people to understand their needs are just as important as ours? Their family and feelings are just as important as ours? Their lives are just as important as ours? Human privilege reigns supreme in a world of pain and sadness for many beautiful sentient beings that only serve human needs. We have a choice and we have a voice, unlike the majority of animals who are silenced and inhumanly treated for our selfish needs. Edgar's Mission allows us to connect and be close to hundreds of animals living safely. Look into their eyes and connect. Thank you to the entire team at Edgar's Mission, our family really enjoyed the tour and will tell everyone about this great place. Keep up the awesome work and a massive thank you for your care & support for all earthlings.

I’d wanted to visit Edgar’s Mission for the longest time so I had pretty high expectations, which were all well and truly surpassed. From the moment we arrived we could feel that this place had the most loving and caring vibe, and that the animals were now living their best lives. It was a few hours of absolute pure joy. Thanks to Daniel, our awesome tour guide, and to founder Pam. I highly recommend everyone book a tour to Edgar’s Mission, it was the best day.

My parents and I were in Australia from Canada. We had a premium tour of Edgar's Mission. It was an incredible experience to get so up close and personal with many of the animals. Our tour guide was excellent and answered everyones questions along the way. I have never had an experience like this and would definitely go back! Highly recommend!

Did the Premium 2hr tour today and it was just wonderful. Kelly was an amazing guide, and very thorough in telling us the stories of all the animals. Cannot recommend enough a visit here, and can't wait to return!

The tour was all about caring and compassion. We were able to connect with the animals, if the animal wanted to, on their terms. Our visit to the sanctuary was somewhat emotional. The stories of the animals were told, and each had a message that shows that humanity could do better. It was thought provoking and so empowering. The tour guide, Kwok was knowledgeable and offered great insight. Due to the caring nature of the sanctuary and Kwok, our guide, the rest of the people on the small group tour were genuinely caring and kind. I would thoroughly recommend this sanctuary tour. I hope to go again. Thank you for the wonderful work you are all doing at Edgar's Mission. Thank you for allowing others to experience your work first-hand. Now for me to spread the word in my way and help you to have your message heard.

Amazing work that you’re doing for these wonderful beautiful animals. I just love the zest and enthusiasm I saw in MASHA COLIN who has devoted hall her time between family and the animals she so dearly loves so much. She always talks about her work - all the animals are an extension of her kids!! What a wonderful caring woman 👏👏❤️

My 2-year old daughter and I loved the tour. It was well worth the drive. I consider myself a dedicated animal lover, but our guide still taught me a thing or two. The whole sanctuary exceeded my expectations - it was so big and well set up! At times, my little one was a bit noisy, but our guide made us feel so comfortable. I also loved the time the guide took to answer questions from the kids and remind them gently to be kind to the animals when they wanted to play a bit rough with the blind cat. Don't forget to visit the onsite shop, they have plenty of merchandise and it's a great way to support this amazing place. To me, it was an amazing feeling to be surrounded by likeminded people who care about all beings and read quotes that resonated with me along the whole walk. To be able to bring my daughter there and reinforce the values I live by was invaluable. Oh, and I wasn't sure if this would be a place I could bring my carnivore friends but it most certainly is, in fact, it is the perfect place to bring them 'cause they are not pushy in their message but rather leave you with respectful and gentle food for thought. (No pun intended ;) ) All kids (and adults) get a chance to meet a lot of animals up close with the bonus that these ones are very, very happy. We will be back!

Went yesterday on a free tour of this amazing sanctuary. Our tour guide Meg was extremely engaging and interesting. The people at Edgar's Mission do an outstanding job taking care of the most vulnerable animals around. Thanks for all the work you do.

Amazing place, a must see for anyone who loves animals. The free tour is incredible, we got shown around all the property and got to feed some animals as well as learn about the history of the place and their mission of kindness. Plenty of amazing goodies to buy in the shop, and so close from Melbourne, I'll be bringing more friends and coming back

What a wonderful place. Truly well run sanctuary. So much peace and love here. We went for the free kids/short tour, wonderful tour around the sanctuary by a very passionate staff. Clean and tidy farm. All the animals are very well looked after and living in great condition for the remainder of their lives.
