First time coming and already love the place!! They have a great variety of drinks and games, including classic arcade games (e.g. street fighter, tron, pacmac, etc.) And board games as well. Each token is worth 1$. The music and atmosphere is also fantastic! Next time Im trying their food

Super cool vibes here! Walk in, you find the bar (good selection), and video games are scattered around the place. They even have a Nintendo 64! Super nostalgic. They also have board games you can play as well along with food options. I love this place. Highly recommend!

My experience at Netherworld was quite positive, the pub has a good vibe, good selections of beers wines and spirits, the food was nice, staff were very welcoming. Lots of board games to choose from if you want to pass a few hors with friends.

This was my first time here and I’m a HUGE fan! Amazing vegan/vegetarian menu, amazing games, amazing drinks! It’s a bit of a hustle and bustle type atmosphere, as expected in an arcade so maybe not a romantic dinner stop, but a perfect fun night out! Large food menu with fair prices, and the games aren’t expensive to play! Personal favorite game with “Cold Beer” don’t miss it!

Went to Netherworld for work drinks and a bit of trivia. Great little place with plenty of fun games to enjoy with friends. Also a huge range of boutique beers on tap which were all reasonably priced. Food was alright, would have liked more for my money but tasty none the less. All in all the vibe was great and not a bad place to grab a drink!

The best vegan comfort food in town. I love Netherworld for the food, atmosphere, fun arcade and board games and EXCELLENT beer selection! Have been multiple times and will continue going for the foreseeable future. Keep it up team!!

Perfect place for adults to relive the childhood dream with a beer in hand! Had an absolute blast here going through the variety of pinball machines, classics like Mario Kart and Sonic, and board games. Would love to visit again soon :D

Very tasty vegan food (with carnivorous options). Lots of good Japanese and Australian whiskeys. I’ll definitely be going back here again. Really cool vibe.

Honestly I love the idea of this place, and in several parts the execution is pretty great. Where this place fall shorts is in I would say the design, and the customer service. Bartenders either seem uninterested when serving you or just downright grouchy - which doesn’t exactly gel with the environment you’d envision for a bar that’s known for vintage / board games. We were scolded for pretty minor things, or things we were getting to (like stopping us taking pictures and instead snarkingly asking us to pack up a game). Let your customer’s breathe a bit, and engage when we’re ordering and I could see this place being golden. Apart from service, everything is pretty fine, nice crowd, kind of crowded with how the games are situated (in front of the tables), clean facilities, food is fine.

What a cool place to hang out with your friends, if you are in your 30s and up. For the young one, you might feel out of place since you would have no ideas what’s the go with of these retro ugly graphic gaming machine laying around with people surrounded. The food was not bad too, almost all dishes on the menu have vegan option. For a meat love myself, I tried my first ever vegan meat ball sub, and to my surprise it wasn’t too bad.

Great atmosphere and location. Bit lacking on tables and chairs to sit but there are heaps of retro games to bring you back to your childhood. Took our dad here and he disappeared when we gave him the tokens. Brought back a heap of memories and the alcohol is great too

A really cool atmosphere. Very inclusive of all humans. I'm not much of a gamer or a beer person however I had an awesome time with workmates. Found a beer I enjoyed and played a few games. There's something for everyone at Nethetworld ! They also serve yummy food.... would highly recommend checking this place out. Only small feedback to give to the staff would be to smile a little more.

Great selection of locally brewed beer and a large selection of retro Arcade machines. Well worth a visit if you're on a night out with friends. The food quality is great for the price and offer almost all items on their menu as both Meat or Vegan options.

This is one of my favourite pubs to go to when I'm in Brisbane. The food are vegetarian unless you specify otherwise and they also have boardgames and card games you can borrow and play whilst you wait for your food (or while you're waiting for your food). The food they serve have very creative names and big portions. I am always surprised by the amount of food they serve. There are arcade games and coin machines where you can exchange your notes for coins. There games are really fun to play on. I love playing the arcade games after having a meal there. They also have other console games you can play with if you go further into the restaurant. I really really love this place and I will keep going back there every time I am in Brisbane.

Highlight of the night was honestly getting to see the beautiful and empowering art in the bathroom. Makes using the bathroom a pleasant experience for once. Lots of other cool funky decor in the venue. Good selection of games and overall a fun place. The food was nice too, especially the tofu! Just please please please add coffee and tea to the menu for us folks who need our caffeine fix to maintain optimal game play energy 🙏🏼

Great bar full of awesome retro gaming. The food was quite tasty and well priced. Some of the pinball machines do have flippers in need of a bit of maintenance, but given their age, it's understandable. Seating in the back section was much more plentiful, so if the front bar is full, just keep on wandering deeper in. Definitely a must do if you enjoy classic pinball and retro arcade games.

Netherworld, what can I say? The food is out of this world amazing, the beer is delightful and the arcade games are just the icing on the incredibly delicious vegan cake lol. Always amazing and thank you to the wonderful staff for their ever so friendly nature. We had 14 hungry vegans and they took great care of us for lunch t❤️❤️

Board games, arcade games and strong beer game. This is my first impression. After ordering, I can confidently add food to the list too. They make offering vegan, vegetarian and carnivore options on multiple menu items look easy. Is Netherworld one of the better pub meals in the Valley? 100%. Take your mates and give it a whirl.

After reading about this place and having it on my bucket list for about 7 years, I finally visited as part of a work function! Really good spot with plenty of games, wait times for games were low (Thursday night, mind you) and the food was really good too! We stayed from 5pm - 10pm!Thanks for a fun night.

Fun place on a Friday night, great atmosphere and lots of arcade machines and board games to choose from. Funky decor and food was delish (loved the crumbed cauliflower Buffalo wings), all menu items are vegan as a base (and then you can add dairy and meat).

Loved it! The burger I had was amazing and probably one of the best in the local area if not ever. Fries were delicious and the Meal was so good I forgot to get a photo of it pre-inhaling. The arcade games bring out the inner geek and so good after a dinner and a beer to keep drinking while you play the games and all of them are only a $1! Going to be a more regular night out I think! Caters for all food types! Especially Vegan. 😍

Best place for adults to have a birthday party. A total gem of a bar . Also we never miss the monthly Lil' Monsters event for kids. One Sunday per month kids can play all the games/pinball machines with a bag of 20 coins for $5 . A glass of Nuka Cola and everyone is happy :)

Not a venue that matches my vibe (a little more alternative and order/take at the bar for food and drink) but the Vegan food was amazing. I’m a big meat eater so the fact I enjoyed it surprised me. The seitan chicken nuggets are one of the most interesting and impressive things I’ve eaten recently.

Fantastic selection of beers, fun arcade games, food is really good plus vegan/vegie options are great. My partner really loves the Mac and cheese - can be made dairy free and is the best dairy free Mac and cheese she's had. Burgers are really solid, as are the nachos. Beer selection is diverse, lots of great craft options of all types. They also offer house made sodas which are usually really good too.

My favourite barcade yet! Always a great selection of console games, pin ball machines, and arcade machines. So grateful for their soft drink alternatives. The butterscotch one I had recently was not too sweet and I enjoyed it a lot.

Great food, great games, great people. We ate vegan and it was super good value - lunch special includes chips. The range of board games is fantastic and they have a bunch of arcade machines, and give free counters with the food! Huge recommend for drinks and a chill night with friends.

I had the most delicious Tofu Poke Bowl Today. It boasted with flavour! Each spoonful was different and they were all amazing! People come here for the beer or the games, and that's alright, but the food is also great!!

Really fun bar! Good prices of $1 to play most of the games. Also some free ones too. Food and drink is reasonably priced too, $13 for my beer and $15 for some loaded chips. Can definitely recommend. Would make a great first date location.

Easily one of the most unique places i have ever been to. Went for a catch up / grad celebration with my colleagues and we easily got a table despite being a walk in. Drinks were really yummy - we started off with some creative craft brews (milkshake flavoured ones! I promise it's very yummy) and then moved on to their craft sodas + vodka, super yum. I thought the prices were fair. Food is vegan unless you opt into the carnivorous version. I had the vegan version (despite not being a vegan) was great. Food was fast, and hot! We then had lots of fun, even though i was really bad at most of the games, playing vintage / various arcade and video games. I played pinball, space invaders & pac man, and then played some vintage (playstation?) tony hawk and some car game. We had such a good night!

We enjoyed our meals & playing the large selection of old arcade games ($1/game). They also have a few free games on Nintendo & Sega Megadrive. Pretty cool.

This is such a fun place! We went with our kid and we all had fun! The food is simple and effective. Vegan by default. Love it. That's the way! Cruelty is just optional. Local beers, home made sodas and really interesting selection of wines and seltzers. Amazing place and 10/10 staff!

My omnivorous friends actively prefer the vegan versions of their burgers/hotdogs. I like their wide changing varieties of house made soft drinks. Only tiny improvement I can think of is that their salad dressing tastes mainly of oil so the ingredient ratio might need adjusting. If we have guests and we are too lazy to cook, it is generally a reliably good takeout experience. It would be a good place to take people in person as it has games to entertain as well as food.

Not a lot of space to spare, what with all the pinball and classic arcade machines packed into the place, not to mention the original heritage listed oval bar offering a good range of craft beer and home made soft drinks, but there are still plenty of of tables and chairs to sit down and enjoy a range of vegan friendly foods (the tempura mushrooms are to die for) (and yes, you can substitute for beef or chicken if you want). Overall, a fun place with good food and craft beer on offer.

Nice relaxed vibes, excellent beers and food. I’m not vegan, but I enjoy trying vegan menus for something different. Nether has some of the best tasting plant based foods I’ve eaten! The revolving door of beers is also great, with there always being something fun to try. The only downside would be seating running out on the busier nights. An excellent venue overall.

Love this place! Have been here twice on my visit to Brisbane and had the burger both times, delicious. Pinball is my favourite and there are so many to choose from. If you love retro, old school games then this is the place to go.

This was an amazing little bar. We had a great time and it brought back so many childhood memories playing all of the games. I would definitely recommend this bar and we will absolutely be going back the next time we are in Brisbane.

Love the cocktails and the atmosphere. Better than clubbing or just some regular bar any day. A must visit if you're in the valley. Just don't get their in-house sodas, not great.

We’ve been coming here for years, and it’s family friendly too, with special times allocated to the ‘Little Monsters’. The pumpkin salad is insanely good. Keep doing what you’re doing, Netherworld. You’re perfect.

Visited netherworld the other day to play some vintage pinball, good variety of machines, took me back to the early 80's when I'd clocked donkey kong 🦍and was, "best in the land" 🎉

So good, went here with wife and our three little ones. The service was incredible, so nice, plenty of on street parking in surrounding side streets. Games are priced really fairly also. Gotta say, if the games were amazing (which they were!!!) the food is even better!!!! You’ll see what I mean, arguably best venue for value, food and fun combo in Brisbane. Worth every dollar spent, family friendly, great atmosphere, easy.
