I recently stopped by McDonald's Heathcote for a quick bite, and I have to say, it's a convenient and great place to grab a meal, especially when you're heading down the South Coast. Not a clean table in the restaurant. Bins overflowing Table service didn’t arrive We went to collect the food after waiting for 15 minutes. Total chaos and it was cold so we took it back. No ice for the drinks. No apologies Do yourself a favour if you want fast food that’s edible go to Hungry Jacks next door. Update 14/03/2020 Second chance fail. Decided to grab 2 large flat whites from the drive thru this morning on our way past. Both burnt and bitter. And one was more like a black coffee with froth. Disgusting Next time I’ll keep driving. Save you money and your stomach.

Ordered a coffee in the drive through, was made to wait 10 minutes in a bay for one item. The employee handed me the coffee and walked away without confirming it was my order, I drove away before taking my first sip and realising it was the complete wrong coffee and had dairy in it when my order was soy. Second experience I went in and used the bathroom and it was filthy. Ordered a soft drink and the employee handed it to me overflowing and dripping down the sides, wiped it off with a dirty rag and didn't offer me napkins so I had to carry it to my car spilling everywhere. I understand that they're a busy location but there's a complete lack of care and effort every time I go here.

The 5-star standard of McDonald's. Premium fit out, great cube kids playground, super clean (including bathrooms) and ample parking. I'm not one to ever review a Maccas, but this one deserved it. Worth the kid-stop break during long commutes for a refresh.

Rubbish McDonald’s run by clowns. We went there last weekend on our way to symbio wildlife park. Husband asked for a fish burger at 1023am and was rudely grunted “that menu hasn’t started yet”. We said we’re happy to wait the 7minutes until 1030 just take the order. The manager was like no. Absolute losers

The service was so quick- we ordered, paid and received our food within less than 5 minutes. The hash browns were super crispy too.

Wished we didn’t stop here. Food was very ordinary. We threw drinks, chips and bits and pieces of burgers. That doesn’t normally happen. Somehow the drinks tasted like cleaning chemicals mixed with watered down coke. It wasn’t clean. No soap in men’s toilets. Paid for a McCafe coffee and got a very poor substitute from the drive thru area after watching order after order get messed up including mine. The management of staff is obviously missing. Staff were singing and dancing behind the counter while patrons rolled their eyes out the front. If you own this business wake up.

We've been here before and seen it extremely busy and yet the food and service then was a lot better. Waited for the food for a considerable length of time. The burger patties were dry, there was ingredients missing the burgers and they were very poorly constructed. Staff showed no sign of being bothered when approached. The bathrooms are not maintained and the general restaurant was tidy but not clean.

We visited at approximately 8.30 pm on a Sunday night, the restaurant was very dirty. There were fries under quite a few tables, so apparently the floors had not been swept. The tables had not been cleaned, we did this ourselves, and all of the garbage bins inside were overflowing. Also there were no napkins in any of the dispensers.

I find Mcdonalds has lost all care about quality services, cleanliness and just general care about their businesses. The junior staff where overwhelmed with no direction from a strong team leader/management. We waited 1/2hr for our order and in that time there were 5 people complaining their orders was incorrect. The poor staff member on the register had mimimal training and was battling with processing our order too. The standard of food has dropped. The carpark was also full of rubbish. Shame on you McDonalds for the lack of training you provide your junior staff and the lack of pride you you no longer have for your company and the McDonalds name.

Sadly a very bad experience 😔 waited a very long time for a simple order and I think they completely forgot my partner's order. When he got it it was the wrong burger (the price of the burger he got was also worth less), the fries where covered in oil and had no salt at all and my drink was filled halfway up. Honestly the worst Mecca's experience ever. Will not return! Only positive think was that staff weren't rude...

A busy drive thru night around midnight and the service was great. Luke served us through drive thru speaker, pay and gave us our food. We could tell it was a busy time but he was so patient and had such a kind tone. Great service! Food was made well 😋

I’ve ordered ONE grilled chicken wrap at 11:23am. And have been waiting for my order for 30 mins. Finally I got it at 11:57am. They just serving other customers who came even after you whit way bigger orders. Never go there again just wasting of time. For this 30 mins of waiting I could already have stake ready in restaurant. If I could put -5 stars I would do it

Service was a slow today. Staff got the order wrong and didn't apologise just said to wait in the waiting bay. After 10 cars driving by us in the waiting bay they finally brought the correct order out which was cold. Not happy

The young lady that served me was lovely, very polite, and her customer service was A+, very friendly compared to most McDonald outlets I've been to. Food was pretty average, nothing great or special about the food we ordered. The atmosphere was pretty ordinary for a typical morning. It's not like it's a big morning rush but still busy enough for waiting customers. All in all, the best part was the customer service, and that is what I value a lot when it comes to serving the public.

Disgusting experience Had to meet up with friends here so thought we would have a coffee & lunch. What a mistake Coffee - cold & only had a cup. Sticky Angus Burger- cold , tasteless & tough as leather . Absolutely disgusting for the $$. Well disgusting if it was cheap. Poor quality . Tried to get the coffee heated up. Well That wasn’t happening with the poor service. Staff member looked at me Like I had 2 heads. Decided I couldn’t go wrong with an ice cream cone 🍦. Lol, how wrong could I be. Ordered at the kiosk, got my number & waited. After 10 mi it’s I approached the counter to be told to go over the other part of the counter. I gave up. Never again will I grace such a disgraceful establishment. Years ago the service , quality , etc was better. Shame in you McDonalds Management Your now offering an over priced poor quality service & product

Fail on all levels today, service, food and cleanliness. 2:45pm 23/9/23 * failed to give change when paid cash to cashier. Had to explain $30 was given and order was $26.80. * after waiting for over 10 minutes asked where order was. Order got lost between cashier and order screen so kitchen didn’t know to make our order * in total waited 20 minutes for order and then order wasn’t correct - wasn’t given both drinks * food was cold and my quarter pounder didn’t have pickles (love the pickles!) * there was so much overflowing rubbish in the garbage bin that we put our rubbish in the tray return section. * chips and serviettes on floor and dirty tables All in all a complete fail on all fronts. If I could score zero I would.

Unfortunately the store was in a disgraceful state with bins overflowing and a large amount of rubbish sitting on many of the tables. Food and service was good but the store was a disgrace.

Called in at about 9pm. The bins were overflowing, rubbish on tables, toilets not clean and floor dirty. We were there for nearly 30 minutes, hardly any patrons, yet no one was tidying up. Very disappointing

The service was particularly poor. The automated machines did not produce tickets Service was relatively non existent. When delayed due to ???? there was no explanation given nor expected time. Service was out of order and focused ONLY on drive thru. Time visited 6 .30 16/07/23 My simple order, chips and frozen coke (after reminder) took 13 min. Others waited longer for meals. Suggest either fix machines or put OUT of ORDER. The problem of tickets I have experienced at many sites. I suggest the number be indicated on screen as well or fix the printing. There was NO PERSON on service desk only the server on the delivery desk.

Absolutely filthy. Tables all filthy and despite twice asking staff for someone to come out and clean the dining area, no one came. In fact the second time I asked the girl rolled her eyes and smirked sarcastically at me. Got the order wrong. Wasn’t even busy in here for staff to be unavailable to clean. Franchise owner should be ashamed.

Wasting your time to save theirs. Walking in, you aren’t greeted by staff or even menus. Just walls and self-service screens. If you do find the front counter, it has no staff. So you have to use the screens I guess. The menu screens aren’t intuitive to navigate, are slow, and try to up-sell you another item after every selection. Of course the pinpad didn’t work this time I was there, so I had to go and get a staff member. Again, the counter wasn’t attended, so after standing around I had to yell out to the fries cook, who went and got a server. And then they said I’d have to re-do my whole order anyway, this time at the front counter. Waste of time.

OMG. What a horrible experience - wish I could rate this zero stars No staff on the counter Their stupid ordering kiosks are out of order. I stood there for 45 mins awaiting my order , and then had to order it again. And left leaving at least 20 customers standing around having the same experience Was quicker to drive to a neighbouring restaurant to get my meal

Slow service, missing pickles & onions in meals. Large portion of dining area taken up by staff in training. The training must not have involved cleaning tables ironically. Their drive in is normally good but eating in was very poor standard.

Place is filthy, tables are dirty and bins are full. The toilets are also dirty. Staff were just jumping around and not even acknowledging us and no one would come out and clean the tables, toilet or change the bins, they were clearly not busy there was literally just me and my friend and 2 other people in the whole store.

The chips are not fresh. Soft and dry, must be left by yesterday. Very disappointed.

Ordered Mocha, was not even warm enough to have it. Overall place is quite clean and has a play area for kids. Plenty of parking available including the disabled ones.

Clean store & fresh food, though one of the staff members at McCafe should find a new job. Throwing utensils around and being moody to customers doesn't really help. We all have bad days..but customer service just isn't for some people

Fresh food. It would be great if you didn't have to order from the screens. So impersonal and the main screen doesn't have prices of the food. Not great for families on a budget.

Staff are friendly, one man did a huge sundae in a lid. It was the most perfect one we've ever seen! They had floppy yellow silicone lights that we loved a lot.

Stopped in on Sunday morning on my way somewhere, and as i hate drive through, i did manual order. F me if i didnt finish both burgers before my coffee arrived..... slooooooow, and the Mc'cafe counter girl had to make 8 orders including the coffee and toast before anyone (after i told them) came to help. What's happened, it used to be a right of passage to work at places like this, now the lazy sods cant even get a 2inch patty in the middle of a 2 inch bun!!?? Unwrap the burger and it looks like a panting dog with its tongue out...... Not rocket science people. Never going back. I keep giving them one more chance but that's it. my wallet (and health) thanks you for making this place a shining example of now 'NOT' to run a restaurant....... I went there for take away, ended up eating in as it took so friggin long.

Great! Got nuggets, cheeseburger, chips, frozen coke and macaron. Food not too greasy, many fast food restaurants have overly greasy food where it's on the wrappers. The macarons are to die for so amazing, my favourite my far and the chips were just right. Good pricing too.
