I contacted your company prior to you receiving my blood sample to let you know not to proceed with the NIPT test as we had just found out our baby's heart stopped beating 4 weeks ago. I spoke to several people and was told to send an email, which I did immediately. Yet each day last week I got daily text messages asking me to pay. I had one of your genetic counsellors call me trying to push for me to proceed with the test despite my decision not to as our baby had passed away and I was dealing with my loss. Today 20.03.23 I received a text message informing me you'll be taking legal action if I don't pay my "overdue" bill for full cost of test that I've advised 'by your instruction' via email to not proceed. After losing our baby last week and dealing with that ordeal in hospital, I am absolutely gob smacked of the lack of sympathy from your company as you're unhappy you have missed a sale. If I must pay for the tube my blood was placed into, I am okay with this. But how dare your staff hound me and threaten me. Absolutely disgusting.

they were awful to me while i was pregnant, tried to make me pay a bill for a test that I didn't consent to having done, my doctor just did it anyway after I said no. they sent debt collectors after me and I was being harassed all day every day. I told them what my doctor did 4 times before someone with a soul actually took the debt away. be careful giving them your information unless you want to be constantly threatened and pestered by Milton Graham on their behalf.

Medicare doesn't cover the costs of many tests, but we knew that in advance. If you know what costs you will be responsible for, or might be resposnible for, you can ask the right questions, and be prepared. The people we worked with were all fantastic and caring

The whole experience was a little surreal and it was VCGS who brought clarity to the process. The GP whom I saw was unaware of genetic testing and had to spend 20 minutes explaining it to him. Then rang VCGS and they had to as well. They guided me through the entire process. Could not afford to pay bill on time and then they let me pay it off by installments - no issues. Overall very professional and very helpful.

BE CAREFUL! these people take your pathology result without your permissions and write report and CHANGE YOU a ridiculous amount. They are not doing blood test, they just take your pathology result and give obvious conclusions? Do I even need that? I have no trouble reading English myself. If you want to provide a service and charge me, how about inform me beforehand? It’s a shame that they state themselves as non profitable organisations. What a joke!

Scammer Alert! Never been here but miraculously they have access to my debit card and just deducted $449 from my account. How can this be a legit business? Be better.

I highly recommend Dr George McGillivray. I sought him out for a second opinion because I could see he was highly regarded in the support pages for the particular condition that my baby had been diagnosed with during my pregnancy. George was professional, reassuring and kind. After our meeting, he followed up on my case even though he had no obligation to do so. I will always be grateful for the care that I received from him.

The result is late takes over 4 weeks. then a debt collector contact me about there is a outstanding debt which we never heard about. I never get the bills and no body contact me by phone or email before. Then a debt collector call you seems like all your fault at 8am🫠. Thats ridiculous.

Everything turned out fine with my test results. But the staff here were fantastic with keeping me informed and as calm as possible. It can't be easy for them, but they never let on.

Weren't sure what to expect when our doctor referred us for genetic testing when my wife was pregnant for the first time. The staff did a superb job of explaining the test they would be doing, the reason, and then the results. Easy to undertand language used, and they answered our worried questions without delay.

I've never heard of your company, I haven't used it, and I don't even know where it is. I suddenly received your tax invoice today. How horrible are you? Where can I get my personal information? I'll file a complaint with all departments./ You said that you would ask gp to explain to me. Until now, no one has contacted me, but I have received a debt demand letter again. I'm pretty sure my gp didn't tell me there was a charge for this. So I'm not paying you any money, so stop this collection, or have your lawyer contact me. I will contact the ACCC first tomorrow.

Horrible they send a bill of $500 when the testing has not even been commenced. Even after payment is made they sit on it and do not bother. Horrible service.

Horrible staff and horrible service. They do not care about you. They just care about the bill. I was charged for service that I never received because of their administration mistake. Made a claim and emailed and talked to them on the phone, everything. But the debt collector would just repeat that I have to pay for the service that I never used. Do not use their service. You will be heart broken when you actually should be taken cared of.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Victorian Clinical Genetics Services. They truly went above and beyond to provide me with the service I was after. We are living in a remote location overseas, where due to COVID, it was very difficult for me to reach Australia for the testing I required. Ann and the team worked out how to make the logistics work (a tricky test in itself) and then the sample got stuck at an airport because of the Australian floods. They worked tirelessly to get it sent to Melbourne in time to be sent to the lab before the critical one week period elapsed. Including staying very late one night to ensure I would not be delayed. Their customer service is second to none and they made what could have been a very stressful situation seem feasible - and actually work out! Thank you and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

We recently opted for a gene testing service, choosing the most expensive package available, expecting a comprehensive analysis. The cost was in the thousands, a significant investment for us. Unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. The only result provided was a vague indication of ‘Low risk.’ No further details or explanations were given. For such a high cost, we expected a thorough report, offering insights and clarity. What’s more disappointing is learning that cheaper packages from the same provider apparently offer more detailed information. This discrepancy in service, especially given the price difference, is perplexing and frustrating.
