The fish quality is unreliable. I’ve bought fish here multiple times, but my latest purchase of baby barramundi had an awful smell and made me want to vomit. Other reviews about fish being smelly make sense to me now.

You can always count on the seafood being fresh here. Staff are excellent and always helpful. Whatever you’re after, they have it and best of all I’ve always found everything to be 100% that day fresh. Thanks everyone Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking.

Horrible experience today from this fish store. Was told the price as illustrated in the photo $5.99 kg for scallops is wrong and is rather $58.99 kg. The wrong price label should have been honoured to myself. This is because incorrectly priced items mislead consumers like myself and this is a serious offence under the Australian Consumer Law. Manager on duty was very rude and started screaming at me, thinking it would work.

Rude old chinese lady! From start to end her face was frowned. I asked for clams at the bottom but she did not want to give it and shouted at me saying everything is the same and she just put them out. And then when I asked for another bag (since the clams will make my wollies shopping bag wet) she shouted again and told me no more bag! She called another person in Chinese language because she did not want to help me at all nor give me another bag! The other person (old Chinese man) willingly gave me another bag without hesitation and talked to me nicely. What’s your problem old woman? Poor customer service! I’ve bought here a lot of times already but I will never buy here again because of that rude old chinese woman who does not know how to talk nicely and and does not know how to respect her customer!

I bought flake to cook baby food. The fish smelled really bad and it was very tough and rubbery. Waste of money and time. Won't shop there ever again

Bought fish here today - when I opened the bag, the smell was absolutely terrible. Definitely not fresh at all! And customer service is awful!

Extremely disappointed with the garfish fillets that I purchased today for tonight’s dinner. The price was more than$40 a kilo and the fish most definitely was not fresh. Not happy!

If I could leave 0 star, I would. I purchased 1 whole Red Snapper and 1 whole Snapper for dinner. When I opened the bag at home, I literally dry-reached. The fish was certainly off. I returned both fish the next day and as soon as the lady at the shop opened the bag, she knew I was right and offered my money ($60) back straight away. Please beware when buying from this fish shop because you could end up in hospital with severe food poisoning if you’re not careful.

I bought a dozen shucked oysters here four days after Christmas. They were the worst I have ever had and were on the verge of being off. Beware of what you get here.

Purchased flake , calamari and prawns from here for good Friday. To my and my families disappointment the flake smelt like ammonia and didn't quite taste right. I immediately removed it from the table and binned it we were all left with a horrible taste. I have done Fishy Friday for many years and never experienced this. I returned to the shop to let them know about the flake so that they could pass it on to supplier. The woman I spoke to said the manager wasn't in and that I should have brought it back straight away. I took her aside to discuss this matter without attracting any attention but she was rude and brushed me off. Won't be returning there. So shoppers beware .Hope to hear from THE MANAGER.

I heard that there is a place in the food court where you can have Singapore chilli crab noodles and I am dying to check it out. However I had to make sure kiddos can have their food as well, because they most certainly can’t have chilli crab! Thankfully they actually have some pasta and sushi for kids. We got $10 for 3 pieces of their large sushi (lobster, soft shell crab and eel), which was okay. It’s probably better than Suji sushi next door. Their seafood pasta in olive oil came. $19 for food court food is tad exxy, but there were a lot of salmon and prawns in the mix. Sadly I found the prawns very bland, the calamari rubbery and I dare not let my kids have one of their tiny shriveled up mussels. Tastele-wise it was mediocre. My chilli crab was also a disappointment. Ok for $19 it wasn’t exxy, but the crab meat was realllllllyyyy mushy. For a seafood place I expected better. The noodles that went with it was disgusting and I just couldnt stomach it. I won’t buy their fresh seafood after eating their cooked seafood that’s for sure!

I have been to this place three times giving them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately every time I purchased fish from him it's tasted like soap or ammonia. When I brought it to the shops attention they where rude and just brushed me off .

For Christmas 2018 I ordered a lobster, some large prawns, four blue swimmer crab and some smoked salmon. Everything was fine except for the blue swimmer crab. They were extremely small, with a white body, so obviously too small to be eaten. In fact, the flesh in both body and limbs was soft mush. Completely inedible. I'm giving this Fish Pier one star, as it would not allow me to post with no stars!! Very poor indeed.

Fish smelled bad when cooking.. gave all of it to my dog. Prefer coles..this place is a hit or miss

Fish is fresh but I only shop here when necessary due to their very poor customer service. Fish pier at the pines or Boxhill have way better service with friendlier staffs.

Very nice fish. Good very big variety both whole fish and fillets and steaks. All seemed fresh. Try it. Worth a visit.

Best murray cod and oysters we had for chinese new year! And the sashimi king fish and salmon for yee sang was super fresh too. Everyone love it and i am glad that i host a great chinese new year dinner.

Purchased the sashimi salmon for the yee sang. Was very tasty and fresh. Returned the next day to ask for a fish to steam. They recommended the tiger grouper. It was a good choice and my family loved it.

Normally have had a good experience at this outlet but when we ordered the Jumbo Platter to share they gave us only one oyster and not two as shown on the menu. When I questioned them about this they said they gave me an extra prawn to make up for it. They didn't have a shortage of oysters for sale they just ripped me off as one extra prawn is worth a lot less than one oyster. Also, about 50% of the platter was just chips. Very disappointed!

I like this tow dishs, Fish head, and seafood pasta.

Website says open to 9.00pm. Made the trip at 7.20pm only to find them basically closed. Maybe they shut early on a Thursday night. Regardless, update your website. Very poor customer experience. I made the effort to come to the shop after checking online and they can't make any effort at all.

A good selection of fish that's generally of good quality.

I asked if theres bones in the salmon fillet to which they said no when going home and checking i found many small bones. I think its important to notify customers that there may be small bones especially since it could be given to small children.

You know what I had discovered, this shop is well stocked with fresh fish. The fish are of high quality and are delicious. Owner and Staffs are really friendly and helpful. This is a good choice to get all your seafood for all occasions.
