    3 hours + of waiting for getting a prescription for an antibiotic? The worst customer service ever: the ladies at the counter don’t notify you about the waiting time. They don’t care if you are sick or not, they find the excuse of the walk-in clinic and at the same time don’t allow you to book. Lacking of communication and service. Not recommended!

    I had been going there the last 3 years. I had a lady doctor originally. She left the consult so I had to find a new doctor there. I picked another lady doctor there and she was outright rude to me. So I switched to a male doctor. He was useful. Last year, I went there because I had a small stab wound. I needed stitches. They are said to have minor trauma centre. I walked in and they sent me away without seeing me. I offered to wait until someone was available and the receptionist said no,I won't be seen. I said it was an emergency, showed them my wound, and I said I need care. It didn't matter. I was sent away. Another time, I missed an appointment. I showed up 4 hrs late. my bad! They never told me that I needed to pay for my missed appointment, while I was there. I rescheduled to phone consult the next day, and I got a call that I needed to pay over the phone before my phone consult, for the missed appointment. I asked if I could come in later that day after work so I wouldn't have to give out my credit card while I was in a public space. They said I would need to reschedule my appointment. So I ended up locking myself in the toilets to give out my credit card number. I have always paid my dues and I found that to be excessively rude. If they insisted on me paying for my missed consult, they should have told me that while I was in their practice later that day, not over the phone the next day. That's just rude and unprofessional. If I get sent away the two walk-ins I have done in 3 years (one which was an emergency) and I had to switch to a male doctor because the lady doctor was rude to me, it's not worth it anymore. This is the third black mark on them, I refuse to go back. I'm done with these people.

    Use to be a good place. Now I don't know. The wait times are excessive. It really hard to get into see your dr. The receptionists run hot and cold with their attitude, all the while the sign next to them saying we're only human and so on. but it starts with them.

    Timing was good to get in and I didn’t have to wait too long however the doctor made me feel like they didn’t want me to be a return patient. I have moved so needed another practice and he was convincing me to go back to the other clinic even though I don’t live there anymore. Felt quite rejected. If you want a doctor who truly cares about your health this isn’t the clinic for that.

    When my previous Dr left a different practice I was on the search for a new one. Dr Kahn has been amazing to deal with, and has helped me immensely. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and always up for a laugh. I'm glad I've switched over to this practice. No complaints from me.

    2 stars ONLY because the reception ladies were lovely amazing ladies! The doctor I visited for the first time was condescending, rude and not very helpful. 2 scripts this year in May and August and apparently I live off pain medication...... 🤣 wake up to yourself doctor khan (not sure if the spelling of his name is correct)

    Very professional practise. The doctors are proficient, caring and informative. The rooms are clean and maintained and the staff at the front counter are incredible. The centre are using automated prescriptions and an online booking system which I loved. Very user friendly. Great to see young doctors on your team too. Also nice to see happy nurses in your operating rooms. Great vibe. Makes coming to the doctors less scary 👨‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

    We recently visited this fantastic practice for a routine medical treatment and my son had a major medical emergency due to a severe allergic reaction that no one could have predicted. The nursing staff were excellent and rapidly sprung into action attending to the appropriate treatment. Dr Joel was the attending doctor and without these fantastic medical professionals my son could not be with us anymore. By the time the paramedics arrived the nursing staff had already taken all appropriate and necessary steps to deal with his reaction. The Redcliffe hospital also commented on what a thorough and super effort they made. Thank you Esther, Michelle, Alex and of course the fantastic Dr Joel.

    Had a bulk billing appointment with Dr Lucy O scheduled for today. I arrived on time. After 1hour 20 mins wait I decided to leave. I now read someone's review here they had to wait 3+ hours to get a prescription!!! This is unacceptable. People should not tolerate such abuse of their patience and their time.

    This medical centre has went downhill. I waited an hour to see a doctor whom I booked with on hot doc (not my regular doc) the doctor proceeded to take in the patient who had an appointment at 2:50. ( my appointment was at 2:40……. )To me this is just unacceptable and I’m unsure why two patients got called in to see doctor before me. I felt judged by the doctor, very condescending, not a real help at all. I felt like i was being undermined. I was disgusted in all honesty. Would not recommend wasting your money at this medical practice.

    Please note that this clinic is no longer a bulk billing center, after fainting in the doctors appointment my partner and I had to cough up $180. The appointments are about $85 each, Medicare can give you a rebate I imagine that changes per person. We had to do some mandatory tests to ensure that I was OK but that was really quite expensive and a big shock for my family. Previously, I have sent my partner here for stitches, broken nails, bumps etc and it was all bulk billed. The wait times have been longer, I imagine they are quite a busy clinic now but we are often waiting more than 40 minutes. However, there is a great doctor here named Sue Jamieson who is crucial for women’s health, hence why the only reason we still come here. In our current climate, we were all in a recession, and everyone is on a tight budget. It looks like we’ll be missing out on healthcare.

    Whilst the staff and doctors are lovely, it’s always at least an hour wait and now to be told at the time of my appointment the doctors no longer bulk bill unless you have a health care card. Told we were notified via confirmation of appointment. So please be aware they no longer bulk bill most patients.

    1 star is generous. I am actually taken back. Now the world is completely messed up anyway so it doesn't surprise me at my experience here. Not only was the receptionist outright rude in how she talks generally. I DO NOT need to explain any medical information about myself just for my son to to be seen. I was then taken into a so called 'GP' That told me she has a medical issue and I need to wear a mask for my son to be seen after stating I'm medically except and have a certificate. ( BY LAW not needed) ..( well does her mask not protect her) So now I was FORCED to risk my medical condition and wear a mask to make her feel comfortable, wow.

    Great medical practice! Been going here for years. Lovely receptionists, doctors and nurses. Sometimes there is a small wait, but worth it, as they will do their best to see you that day if required and bulk billed! Have moved all over Brisbane but this practice will always remain my doctors. Thank you to all :)

    Absolutely amazing late night visit for our young daughter with all other doctors closed or not willing to fit her in, quick phone and was told to come straight down which we did, filled out a form and saw the doctor straight away. Service was amazing with the staff bubbly and inviting even at 8pm at night and the young doctor was very knowledgeable and very good at his job would definitely recommend.

    Always a friendly service. Professional staff. Can always get in. Has pathology in the same building. Plenty of waiting room. Kids room. Plenty of parking. Great doctors and nurses. Reception ladies are beautiful and take care of you.

    Dr Joel phoned on time and as usual provided beyond excellent service. The HotDoc app was great to book the appointment although Dr Joel is so popular you need to book at least a week ahead for phone consults. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Joel, and other doctors at the practice are great as well when I have needed to consult if Dr Joel not available.

    This would have to be one of the nicest Doctors Surgeries in the whole of Pine Rivers. My Husband Terry had to see the Doctor urgently and even though they were really busy they were able to fit him in. The reception staff are lovely as are the Doctors and Nurses, I couldn't rate them more highly. Thank you Family Practice at Kallangur!

    I shifted to this center since 5 years ago as its near to my place and all the staff and Dr's are nice. The only problem is my booking online it always declined since two months ago even I booked 2 days before and it shows there too that theres heaps of available time. Tried to asked the reception and they always says that someone booked before me and I accepted that. The thing is since 2 months ago I never ever had the slots I booked online granted and its so annoying that I need to call them always for me to secure or confirm my bookings. I tried my hot doc apps to book to other clinics and never had any problem like this in this center.

    Dr. Kahn is fantastic, patient and very personable. My wife and kids also see him. Just an all around comfortable experience. The ladies on the front desk were great fun to interact with and were able to have a good laugh while multi tasking.

    Phone consultations are a brilliant idea for a few reasons. It is great that this practice has several doctors who will do these. This morning I had NP Neralyn call me, she was patient as I struggled to talk through breathlessness. Neralyn quickly made decisions about what I need to do next. I am still waiting for the medical certificate & relevent form to complete a Respiratory test but I will call the office ladies shortly.

    No Doctors here are bulk billing anymore ! We've been coming here for about 12 years, the doctors are great , very sad , will have to look around now . I wasn't notified, I just over heard the receptionist on the phone , be careful they don't bulk bill anymore !

    Went on a Sunday to the Minor Trauma Centre for a wound and had a great experience. The reception staff were among the friendliest I've ever met. The doctor and nurse were professional and managed to fit me in even though they were really busy. Great to know this place exists as an alternative to adding to ER workloads.

    My own Dr's surgery closer to home were fully booked out all week and I needed to see someone quickly. I found the reception staff lovely and helpful and Dr Brendon extremely helpful, professional and caring. Thank you. It is good to know I have another surgery I can attend when needed. ✨✨✨✨

    Dr Emma Scott was amazing. First time I’ve been to the Doctor and actually felt like it was worth it!! I always left my old practice feeling like I haven’t been heard and nothing was fixed. But with Dr Emma I left feeling the opposite. Definitely found my new doctor. Highly recommend.

    I suggest finding another place for better care. This practise doesn't not care for family or the community that has supported them for so long. I've been going to FPK for decades and never had to pay or had any problems with requests until now. Since turning private, your focus on the community of Kallangur to provide decent care for us has changed. I see greed drives this practise now. Charging me $83 for a 20min phone call, you did not help me when it came to providing me with a back dated certificate citing "its law". Doctors are allowed to backdate if the illness and information provided can can be proven. I guess COVID isn't a good enough reason to provide this. Nor is seeing that I am fairly treated by my employer. You have done me a disservice and left me out of pocket, not only for the "care" you gave but now I will lose 2days pay.

    Should have read the recent reviews before booking an appointment. Ended up waiting over an hour to be seen, came in 20 minutes early for a 12:40 appointment and wasn’t seen until 1:40…. Turns out the receptionist didn’t click the “patient is here” button but was explained this by the gp of all people. The doctor I saw was really good, but no communication between doctors and staff to the point I had received phone calls from the clinic saying I didn’t pay for a certain thing (after I paid for the consult might I add) and had to drive back for the lady to give me incorrect information in terms of how much I had to pay (was told $20.15 on the phone, ended up paying 21) so who knows what the hell you’re actually paying for. Only saving grace was the GP I saw and the nurse who took my ECG. Honestly there’s better and cheaper clinics out there, take it with a grain of salt if you do go there but not what I was expecting.

    The medical services I receive at Family Practice are excellent. The doctors and the nurses are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. The front desk staff are also super friendly and kind, from check-in to check out. I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends. Thank you.

    Receptioniest staff do an amazing job. Nurses or assist nurses are very gentle & thorough. All staff are friendly. I have a great doctor & have heard from friends the other doctors are great too

    I visited this practice for the first time this morning and had a wonderful experience. The reception staff were great and the place was very clean and tidy. NP Sue Jamieson was also amazing! Definitely my new go to health practitioner.

    This practice was great. They fitted me in when I was very sick and other practices wouldn’t because I had “Covid symptoms” even though I tested negative.Dr Ross Bourne is the best and I’m so happy he’s back!

    Terrible service. Waited all day for a phone consult to then be called at that time saying I’m not eligible because it’s been over 12 months since I’ve been there. The lady was so disgustingly rude and abrupt I have a seriously infected finger that I need antibiotics for and waited all day for this. I was blamed saying I should of knowing when I was last there I hesitated when the lady asked if I had been there within the last year and the lady didn’t check resulting my appointment being canceled at the last minute. Disgusting practice I do not recommend at all. The lady also hung up on me.

    Had Dr Sue, and she was so kind and helpful with such a great attitude! Could not recommend her enough, need more GPs like her!! The lady who took my blood was so nice as well, overall had a great experience and came out of the clinic smiling!! which is so unusual after a Drs appointment 😂

    Very caring and thorough team of healthcare professionals. From the Doctors all the way to the receptionist I was really well looked after. It would be amazing if this place got funding to use the rest of the building as a ‘health care one stop shop’. That would save strain on the hospitals in the area and create more local jobs too. Thanks so much to the team there at the centre, you’re doing an outstanding job!

    Lovely staff and wonderful doctors. I rang and rang to have medical attention and advice and they kept on delivering all day after so many phone calls like they have for years now. Such a wonderful attention to detail, especially my doctor who I won't name because I don't want people to book this guy anymore, due to the fact he is the best. I understand they are constantly flooded with people and so much under pressure to preform under large volumes. The ladies running administrations are simply lovely and kind hearted. Kind regards.

    Every time I get a doctor for long term, they leave and I have so much trouble getting my regular scripts. And the new doctor I get is so rude. My file is there in front and they don't care. There is no need to be rude, or change anything that has been going on long term. I ask for a permanent doc and I can't help it if they leave and I was assured it would he ok for continuing my care.

    Making appointments online is easy and convenient. The doctors are always great to deal with. Dr Samantha always makes me feel very comfortable and Dr Ross is lovely.
