It was an alright stay. The only annoying thing is, that there are not nearly enough pots in the kitchen and during peak hours you have to wait to cook your food, even though there are enough stoves. And our dorm had a privat bathroom, which was good, but there was no door, so whenever somebody used the shower or the sink during the night/morning the whole dorm was bright because of the bathroom light.

Helpful staff, clean and spacious accommodation. This hostel is the nicest one I have stayed in. Everyone is friendly and provide helpful information.

Worst security I’ve ever experienced. Have no respect for the people. Girl on the bar with very much tattoos was straight rude. 0% respect for people spending money in your place. General manager did not care one bit and didn’t even bother listening when you try and make a complaint.

Free drink on arrival is a nice touch, staff at reception were very friendly. Rooms are clean & spacious, really nice resort style feel to the area. Only issue is the kitchen was dirty pretty much the whole time.

Good location, good rooms but could do with more phone charging ports by the bed as there isn’t many, no one in the kitchen cleans their own dishes after cooking which isn’t the hostels fault but should definitely set up a name and shame to stop people doing it. People are great you meet there and a overall a good place to stay

I really enjoyed my night at Nomads in Noosa. I was reluctant to book the 16 bed dorm but happy that I did! The way the room is set out was good and it didn’t feel as crowded as I had expected. The hostel has a social atmosphere making it super easy to connect with others and make friends while travelling through. Nomads also has events on every night so there is always something to do. Staff were also great.

Plug sockets in the middle in the room and not next to the beds, no towels or curtains included in how much they charge. One Scottish male staff member yelled at me and my friend from his room for hanging the washing on the staff washing line (we didnt know because theres 2 entrances to it but only 1 entrance has a sign making you aware. Another male staff member just said 'there's a sign' and we told him we came through the kitchen way and he just walked back in his room. Bingo was really fun and it was good that theres 2 shower blocks and a separate toilet block in each room.

Stayed 2 nights in the 16 share dorm. Like all nomads hostels, very young vibe. The hostel itself is situated in a great spot, close to the centre and not too far from the main beach. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful upon check in and with any questions in general. The room was spacious enough, the bottom bunks were quite high and you hit your head if you sat up too quickly, the same for most bunk beds, the room had 2 big fans to push air around (not entirely sure this counts as air conditioning as advertised) and it did get quite stuffy in the room, even with the windows opened. The room also accumulates a lot of sand (mainly because most people staying are coming back from Fraser Island) which is fine, however the housekeeping team when changing the beds over for the next check ins, didn't sweep or mop the floor and even left our dorm room door open, luckily we had our valuables in the lockers. The bathroom was ok and the showers too, but there could have been a bath mat or something to dry your feet as the whole room is tiled flooring, this resulted in a wet and sandy floor when people used the showers one after the other. The kitchen was incredibly small considering how many people could stay at this hostel, there were queues to use the hobs at dinner time and hardly anywhere to prep your food. Limited cutlery and tea towels as well. Other than that it was a decent stay

Used to be awesome place, now they're charging nearly $100 for a 16-bed dorm at a youth hostel. The AC doesn’t kick in till 6pm, even with an extreme heat warning. After 6 pm, they decide to turn it off for a hour every 2hour duration. The hostel seems to have cut corners on traveler amenities, and honestly, there's no valid reason for this lack of improvement. the staff is still awesome. I can handle the noise during my sleep, but can’t sleep in hot and humid room. And the photo is room turned both lights, literally so dark

Absolutely perfect for what it is! A great travelers hostel with a late bar! Had an amazing time here ! Check it out if you want to make some great memories in Noosa !

Notes about facilities etc aside... I overheard a staff member threaten a patron with physical abuse because they, appeared to be a non native speakers and couldn't read 'obvious sings' . Very disappointing behaviour from a member of staff that appear to represent themselves as some level of senior management. This lady needs some training in management and basic customer service skills. Very dissapointing reflection of the Australian way of life to visiting tourists. Would not recommend.
