    Called go make an appointment to see a doctors for my 5 year old son with possible ear infection as my regular GP wasn’t here . 2 hours after the appointment time waiting in the car in cold just to get my son checked so I can give him required medicine to ease his pain . And on top of that the Receptionist Grace was so rude .. what’s the point of making appointment when still u have to wait for hours … If only my regular GP was not in this clinic I would never come back . This is ridiculously annoying and pathetic. If you can’t cater for patients then stop bloody taking in more . Try to Deal accordingly to ur capabilities…. We can’t go to hospital as we get told to go to GP and when we come to GO , we have to go through this ….. disgusted as .

    Would give 0 stars if I could. Left on hold for OVER an hour?? Worked in a medical centre for over 7 years and have never ever left a client on hold for that long, outrageous idea of customer service. A client should be on hold no longer than 5 minutes maximum. Over 75 minutes on hold?? How could all receptionists possibly be too busy to take a call in 75 minutes

    Patient with wastage medical centre from last 11 years… now they simply can’t control the influx of patients. Westgate you need to upgrade your systems and make it user friendly. Doctors are good at the practice but can’t get appointments with them and even with appointment time. You have to waited for 30-40 after appointment time. No time limits for phone consultations…. Reception never picked up the phone and rude most of the time. Frustrating…

    If I could rate this useless establishment zero, I would. Absolutely abysmal medical service. Receptionists have no comprehension of providing any quality of customer service, always rude, blunt and careless. It’s understood sometimes someone may be having a bad day, so taking bad service with a grain of salt is necessary - but when undoubtedly EVERY single time, any of the reception team present with the same callous nature. It begins to show the quality of the clinic. Wait times are hideously unstable. Never on time, regardless of whether you’re a walk in patient or if you’ve booked an appointment. I’ve waited over 2 hours, more than one occasion after booking an appointment! I currently am trying to call the clinic, and I’ve been wait for 28 minutes to even get through to reception. Poor service really is an understatement. Medical clinics can sometimes of course have a buffer, and it’s often expected that you may have to wait. But not like that, I still don’t know how this place has business. I hope to never return as I certainly don’t want to contribute to their ability to maintain business.

    I don't understand what's the point of taking appointment if they never accommodate it on time. Every time you take appointment and visit a GP there is no bloody way here you see them before an hour. First they said book the appointment and than said go sit and wait in the car. Why can't I go home and wait for the call, imfact why it wasn't told on first place. This is a pathetic service which makes me really unhappy. My children doesn't have that much patient to sit and wait in the car. You have no idea what pain we go through just by sitting and waiting. Please do something to meet the capacity of your medical centre. Just don't take over the no. If you can't manage them all.

    Very very very rude and racist receptionist. And wait time is almost 90 to 120 minutes even you have booked an appointment. Phone line always busy so actually we can't book appointments over the phone. So have to come to the centre book an appointments and go home and come back again at your appointment time and then keep waiting in the car for 90 to 120 minutes to see doctor. No one likes to wait when they are sick specially when kids are sick. Please understand and take some actions.

    Just a request to all respected doctors and staff please inform patients if they are running late whenever I visit I have to wait 40min 50min or 1hr after I booked appointment and receptionist need to know how to deal with patients being rude is not fair.. every single visit I had rude receptionist they make you more angry while you are wait we come here to get treated in at least nice way and we are paying for it not getting for free!! Receptionists need to learn some manners

    Dr Khan did the consultation over the phone for less than a minute and advised to come and see him instead. So I spoke to the reception and they confirmed he was available for the appointment and I could come in and see him within the hour. After specially coming to the centre he denied to do a face to face consultation as he couldn't claim Medicare billing in the same day so the phone consultation of less than aminute which basically meant to say come and see me they charged to Medicare giving advise. They are more interested in just charging money rather than treating patients.

    If I could give less than one star I honestly would. This is the worst clinic ever. They don’t respect or underStand the concept of appointment even when 6 doctors working. I called the first time and the receptionist told me to come in and gave me a time for an appointment. When I showed up there turns out that she did not even create a profile for me or book it in. To top it off this receptionist had the audacity to give me an attitude and asked to show my call log as proof. The receptionist are unprofessional and rude. Even for my appointment the following day I did not get seen on time. I am literally still waiting

    No more walk ins anymore so please find alternatives nearby and dont waste your time driving..Went yesterday at 9pm was informed no appt available so come tomorrow. Today book appoint for 8pm its 8.40 so far and still waiting in car to see GP. It will be great if someone from westgate can explain why this new so called changes are harrassments for regular patients? Are you short staffs or pretend to be so can have no bulk bulls? Please be transparent in your reply so we can escalate further if needed and help you to restore your valuable services as before as current changes are pathetic and will result in loss of patients moving forward. I hope someone will read and take time to reply?

    Absolute waste, this medical center has no value for people's time. Every appointment (not walk in) is atleast over an hour wait. Not sure why is it so hard to get a pattern and give appointments accordingly. Receptionists are rude as well (possibly trained to be that way given that every patient has to wait so long). Not recommended at all.

    They don’t even deserve 1 star but had to give it to post a review. I have been waiting from 2 hours. Asked the staff to book a timing but they said there are not taking bookings. Unfortunately, we have to wait with a new born. Guys you need to improve your services. Recommending you to take appointments.

    It is the worst medical centre, we have been too. We had to wait for an hour even though we had an appointment. Reception staff doesn't have any clue about what is going on and how many patients are in front of us. They have no sympathies for kids and/or preganent women who are waiting for more then an hour to see a GP. I would strongly advise to avoid this clinic unless you have no other option.

    The WORST service! Receptionists are rude, condescending and couldn’t care less! They have the stupid rule to wait in the car. After waiting for an hour, I went in to ask what the expected wait time is. They claim the doctor tried to call, and because there was no answer just skipped and went on. No missed call on my phone. Receptionist tried to call and it came through straight away so no issue. They tried to blame me anyway saying “were you in the phone?”. Only reason I came here is because there’s no spots anywhere else (unsurprisingly no one wants to book here)

    AGGRESIVE AND RUDE RECEPTION STAFF The worst experience ever! Don’t waste your time booking an appointment as you’ll be waiting well over 45mins. I was also here a couple days ago for my intial consult and wasn’t told to wear a mask but today on my follow up appointment I wasn’t allowed to see the doctor without wearing a mask. (Which I have no issue with) my issue is that when making a booking on the phone I wasn’t told it was required and as I was there a couple days ago and not told to wear a mask I didn’t think it was needed. After all this I went to go buy a mask next door at the pharmacy to only come back to hear the receptionist gossiping to each other about how I was wrong for not bringing a mask even though they didn’t mention that at the time of booking my appointment on the phone.

    They dont deserve even one star, the worst medical centre I have been to, doctor was bad, reception staff and services are the worst ever. I have been going there for 2 years and today my mum had an appointment with dr Atta and we left the clinic before even got treated from the bad treatment and how careless he was with us, from the time we entred the office untill we left he was very rude and did not help at all. After the 2 years of being patient with them still being treated badly, I have been waiting for more than 1,5 hours in the car park or phone calls waiting for 5 hours, my mum severed very bad back pain and after waiting for almost 2 hours he showed no care and was very rude. And he did not want to check the results or anything did not even bother to read the history of her file or medicine needed. He was very racist towards us. NEVER AGAIN, there are a lot more medical centres outside that treat their patients right, don't go here, they have to deal better with their patients. Owners need to train the staff better than this.

    I have been coming to this clinic for over a decade. The receptionists and nurses are nothing but respectful, kind and professional. Yes the wait times can be long but I just plan for this by packing a book to read in the car or something to do whilst I wait. The wait is worth it as the Drs are lovely. I adore Dr Ata and he has cared for me through some pretty complex medical conditions. If you Can’t get through on the phone? Simply use the app. Even though I have moved more than 25-30 mins away. I will keep coming back to this clinic as I love the team here. Thanks Renée and family.

    This is the worst medical centre i have come across. To book an appointment, I have been calling them from last 2 weeks to get the results of my Ultrasound test and blood reports.. but no one picks up the phone to book an appointment or it’s always seems busy.. Trust me , online service is even worse!! Also, I personally visited the centre to collect my reports and the receptionist proudly said that she didn’t find any and the servers are down , as always !! So, I didn’t receive my reports as yet, neither my appointment is booked with any of their doctors after struggling so much with their behaviour. Guys!! You need to wake up and work on your system Or please take out some time and go through the reviews you are getting from people - Hope this helps👍

    I've been coming here for fifteen years because the doctors are great. Lately however, even though I show up before my appointment time, I've been left waiting until after my appointment time. Thirty minutes here, fourty minutes there... Tonight, I had to wait an hour and forty minutes past my appointment time, in my car, for my son to be seen. Making people wait in their car with their kids for this long is truly unacceptable. I can't get over it, so I think I'm done with Westgate Medical Center.

    I just don't understand why they allow to.make bookings online with slots only 10 min apart when consultations seems to go for over 20 min on average. I had a 6.20pm appointment left work early so not to be late only to check in a few minutes early then sat in the car for well over an hour and a half and still not called in to my appointment WHY DO WE BOTHER MAKING APPOINTMENTS

    I thought this medical centre was public. They wouldn't book my son in for an appointment because the last time he was there was in 2015 and apparently the doctors don't see anyone unless they've been there in the last 2 years. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! All I wanted was to get antibiotics for my son's chest infection. Absolutely ridiculous. If you're a public medical centre then you should be able to take new clients or existing clients. IT'S AN ABDOLUTE JOKE.

    Had an appointment today at 3:30 with Dr Ata I told the reception I’m there and they asked to wait in the parking till the doctor calls me. 4:15 I did not get any call I went inside to check and I been told that still there is another 2 patient in front of me ( maybe I have to wait another 1 hour). Don’t give appointments if you can not service the patients. Arrange the booking properly

    I wish to give a big zero star if I could. Worst worst receptionist there. They said walk in is available when we called them. Once we reach there with our infant, they said they are not accepting new patients. Why can’t you tell in call ? If you tell before we could search for some other doctors. You receptionist are playing game with us. People are going to doctors when they are really really need, not for time spent

    Always running behind, I had an appointment at 6:20pm and had to wait 2 hours, then my second appointment got canceled and had to book for another day. Then I’d had a 5:30pm rang ahead asking if the doctor was going to be behind and they said it should be fine as I’m the second patient for this doctor, i then go in and told there’s 3 more people before me, what’s the point of having an appointment if I’m going to have to wait in my car every time.

    This had to be the worst experience ever! So I booked the appointment- I specifically requested a female doctor. Travelled there by train and Uber. Checked in at desk, told her the time. What receptionist did not tell me was, somehow the appointment had been stuffed up, that I was going to need to wait for 2 hrs and it wasn't a female Dr. So I sit down not knowing any of this. I get feeling something is wrong . A different receptionist then tells me oh no, Ur not seeing a female Dr, Ur going to need to wait blah blah. Terrible communication, pooooooor customer service. The worst service I have ever received. If a customer asks for a female they need a female. If that wasn't possible, don't waste my time. Your booking system needs an upgrade if it causes Ur receptionists to make errors like this. It cost me over 20$ to get there, nobody was reimbursing my bank account.

    This Medical Centre needs to change their receptionists, they are very2x rude and bad specialist Indian Lady her name is Sakinder she needs to check her ear, as there is too much ear wax! Didn’t clarify with me b4 making accusations. Time for me to change Medical centres. I do not recommend this place. The Dr’s are nice, need to change receptionists there otherwise you all loose you patients soon.

    Hi I prefer to go to another clinics because if you book appointment face to face for e.g you booked at 5pm appointment doctor will call you after 1 hours you need more then 1 hour to sit in your car wait for doctor phone call. What a rubbish there is no point to make appointment if you can’t see the doctor at time you booked this is the worse medical Center I ever had and doctor does not allow you to give answer if you have more then one problem. For e.g Got a fever and you have another issue doctor said this time we only take care about fever only if you have another issue come back book another appointment 1 apportionment we only see a 1 issue at a time. Secondly receptionist are very rude if you by chance ask them it’s already 1 hour now how long it will take time she was so rude unexpectedly. Which is not acceptable at all.

    I haven’t been here in a while and required a medical certificate, I spoke with a receptionist named Reegan who stated that I will be required to still come in for an appointment rather than a phone consult as it’s been a while since my last appointment. I mentioned that I did not want to come in as I didn’t want to expose anyone to symptoms. Reegan assisted me by passing on two different numbers of locum doctors who would be able assist me and accept phone consults. So although she wasn’t able to get me an appointment she was extremely helpful in facilitating me being able to access a phone consult. Thank you so much!

    Always provided the best medical care when I needed it . Yes , sometimes there is a wait but there is no other clinic with 5-10 doctors available at any one time. There is an appointment app called APPOINTUIT that you can use to book appointments - so simple - so easy . I have been going to this clinic for more than 15 years ++ and one of the very few that are open till 11pm Weekdays and 8pm on the weekends.

    Worst clinic ever. Dr Navneet Kaur is a perfect example of literate rude and arrogant lady. She's highly unprofessional and hope her license gets cancelled one day. But westgate medical centre shouldn't hire GPs like her to practice in their centre.

    APPALLING This service is a disservice to all. Whether you have an appointment / phone consult / or need a referral, this medical centre will greatly disappoint you without fail. They have a flawless record of appalling service. I am not a patient but my wife is and it is a real pain to get through the wait whether in person or over the phone. We wanted a referral for an urgent gastroscopy and it was a battle. I hope these people run out of business and shut down. Pathetic

    Partner just went there for an appointment. They failed to mention they now charge $100 per appointment, when he made the booking. I will no longer be using this doctors office for anything. During a cost of living crisis, in the middle of winter and flu season, turning your backs on the community. Shameful!!

    Omg it’s better to call waiting centre rather than a medical centre . 2 hrs minimum waiting time for patients which is not acceptable. I’m requesting to the staff if they’re around this comment section pls change this rotten waiting system for those who booked you for themselves and their loved ones regarding better health .. seriously 😳

    Poor staff, illiterate staff sitting at front with no knowledge and full of arguments. They just after your money not your health. So rude and no sense of understanding the matter. After a big discussion they come to the point that they are wrong and not even bother to say sorry. It’s better to go chemist warehouse and talk to nurses, instead of visiting Westgate medical centre. I recommend not to visit them.

    This clinic needs to do something about waiting time or hire someone who can manage appointments. I don’t understand when you are giving appointments to people how can be waiting time in hours. Doctors are good but waiting time is worse. How pregnant women suppose to wait for hours! They need to think about this and do something. Patients come to the clinics not normal people and it very hard to wait for hours when you are sick or pregnant. What is the means of appointment in this clinic! Very disappointing experience as always here.

    got emergency today call them they asked we only take walking in weekends , no appointments when go there very poor customer service and also taking long time to see the doctor, when i call them they said you have to w8 5/10mins , then we can w8 45 mins to see the doctor , my wife got bad pain in her stomach but they don't bother. totally waste of time . now calling them again for refferal to go hostipal receptionist said doctor can call you in 10mins but no one call us . avoid please to go there.

    Me and my mum always go to this place and usually the doctors are all nice but today we went to see doctor juma noor for the first time and omg he was so rude ,seemed like he was yelling at us. Don’t ever go to this doctor you’ll regret going.

    I have filed an official complaint to the human rights commission about this clinic because the front receptionist refused to allow me and my one year old child to access basic medical care due to me not wearing a face mask. I have an exemption for not wearing a face mask and according to the DHHS website, I do not have to show her proof of this exemption. I am appalled by the rudeness and unprofessional behaviour of the front receptionist. I was only able to see a doctor after wearing a mask, even though I have a valid reason for being exempt. Very arrogant and rude staff

    I had very bad experience today with this place. I came with my sick child and was waiting in my car for my turn as according to the policy of this medical centre. Then my doctor called me and said you can come and wait in the treatment room. so I came inside but the nurse was there name is Caroline was so rude to us and she pushed us out of the room and said you can’t sit here. when i said i am here coz dr asked me so please talk to the doctor but she did not listen and her way of talking was so unprofessional and very rude behavior. i will give 0 star rating to this place. and the nurse should learn to speak with the patients and be professional

    I went so many times in westgate and 100 other dr. .but personal experience in Australia dr. Not listen problem and after so many test can't find a problem and treatment. Finally I found dr. Farha last week I went she at least listen me . I m suffer legs pains last 4 years no any dr touch and feet.. my feet painfull really badly she touch and give me some test so far I feel so comfortable with her I feel she will do something for this thx dr. Farha I will definitely come to you only I m happy to wait for good dr.

    Good Doctors, not easy to get appointments. Long waits even after booking an appointment. The wait can be between 40 mts to an hour after booking. Not much seating. They ask you to wait in car. Masks mandatory

    Utilised the services of this centre for 30+ years. All sorts of challenges faced by the team while they grew. Challenges with I and my family dealt with equitably every time. Having seen overseas services and other gps intra and interstate - I highly recommend the team.

    I’ve been going to this practice for a few years now when I’m desperate as a last resort because I usually don’t receive the best service, especially from the staff at the service desk, but I must’ve missed Emma from the front desk as I’ve just recently spoken to her and she is amazing and very caring! Emma as a person as well as her customer service deserves to be recognised as she has changed my view of the centre - all in the service and care she has provided. Thank you Emma 🙂
