Look how much of this I drank before I realised :( definitely not buying from here again. Edit: in case the photos don't come through it was a large grapefruit green tea with a dead fly in it. Drank 3/4 before I realised. I'm OK with gong cha being a very basic tea place with no fresh fruit or fresh milk but with added fresh fly? No thanks...

I recently visited around 3:30pm yesterday (12th May), and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The lack of professionalism and customer service exhibited by the staff( male staff) was highly disappointing. There was no greeting or smile on his face, which immediately set a negative tone for the interaction. After placing my order, the staff member didn't even utter a simple "thank you." His lack of enthusiasm and unpleasant attitude significantly impacted my experience as a customer.

Purchased 2 drinks at Gongcha Chadstone at 7:37pm this Saturday . And got a staff name Pan , not even bothering saying hello and greeting just staring at you . I basically did my order myself . And without hear anything the staff saying . No thanks, no smile , no customer service . If you hate your job so much . Don’t work !

Drinks have been fine for me but what I witnessed today was appalling. This is in reference to the stall upstairs. It's Saturday 1 ish. There is a line of people. There is a total of 4 people in the stall but only 1 guy struggling to keep up. He is taking orders And making the drinks at the same time. All while the other 3 stand at the back in plain sight probably on their break or something. 1 eating chips, 2 on their phones. Why you have 3 out of 4 people on break at the same time during a lunch rush on a Saturday beyond me. This is hospitality. If they were so hell bent on NOT helping their colleague while he struggles, at least hide out of sight.

I bought 4 drinks, and they forgot to add pearls into one of them, which was mine. My day went from good to bad. Very disappointing from a franchise that I frequent at and enjoy.

Why does the brown sugar milk taste bitter? Normally this goes with tapioca pearls in most of the other brands but here, need extra 70 cents for those pearls. I think I will stick to my fav brand not to try different ones. Anyways

Ordered hot milk tea with pearls but have not received any pearls. How hard is it to get it right?

Doesn’t ask if you want ice and sugar. Not so friendly atmosphere, and we’re very rushed and they got my order wrong.

Chadstone sc Underground floor worker Rachel February 18th she is very rude. Even when gongcha had less customers and no reason to act rude, she gave my girlfriend and me a face and attitude that was very uncomfortable. I honestly use gongcha a lot in this shopping centre but this kind of experience makes me consider whether I should stop buying from here.

sometime taste like no sugar at all even I asked for less sugar and I could taste aloe Vera in my drink even mine was Royal Pear Milk-tea...

They run a tight ship here and their turnover is high. The flavours are consistent with Gong Cha pretty much everywhere. Gong Cha used to be my preferred brand, but other chains (eg Machi Machi) have eclipsed it in terms of its sophistication. Gong Cha just feels more processed. That said, I'd still happily come here for a drink, especially given the price. And for anyone dieting - my preferred lower (200cal or less) calorie drink is the wintermelon latte. So good!

Great bubble tea, with options that should suit nearly any bubble tea lover. Being in Chadstone, it can get very busy, very quickly: so I recommend if you're after bubble tea, go here before you do the rest of your shopping to make sure you're not queuing up for a long time.

I can’t see myself going back. I got a mango drink and I’m sad to say that it had little to no flavour. I also got some mango piping pearls but instead I got some jelly stuff. I couldn’t finish the drink and neither could my friend. I can’t recommend

Waited in line for the new gingerbread man series drink for about 10mins. When it was time to order the guy at the counter had a bad attitude no greeting nothing. They were sold out of the drinks very disappointed. I suggested that they should put a sign saying sold out and he barely responded, clearly did not care. I wish I knew his name to put him on blast. Terrible attitude.

One of the best and classic boba teas in Aus. Best hast to be qq passionfruit green tea, grape green tea with chia seeds and lychee oolong green tea with aloe. good hygiene, good attitude and good price.

Quick and efficient and only one person running the store in the morning who was very quick and helpful. Very satisfied with my order as it’s the Gingerbread series nearing Christmas time I really enjoyed it.

I was on my work break and ordered my drink , lemon and winter melon green tea. My receipt number is 64. Everyone else that ordered after me got their drinks first because the drinks guy was just making random number drinks! So why have a numbering system if you won't use it? I waited 15 minutes for my drink and that's half of my break gone. That's disappointing. I would of gotten my drink within 5 minutes if that staff followed the number system. Product was good. Initial customer service was good but the end half could've been better if they follow their number system. I would not waste time there again. Not worth it. Appalling.

the gong cha in the food court supposedly closes at 5.30pm on a monday and i clock out of work at 5pm, absolutely craving a drink after a long a** day and they say that it’s not busy at all so they close early. i wish they could have just waited 10-20 more minutes bruh

Sorry for the wrong store which I mean the one on the ground level. I was trying to pick up the drink via a Chinese delivery app. I showed the screen to the staff who called Liam and said the pick up number in English. But the staff rejected me with negative and awful attitude, by saying "How could I know? there’s all Chinese” I felt very uncomfortable with what he said that he was looking down upon the customer who uses Chinese app or even speaks Chinese. Again, I said the number in English, and I don’t know why not speaking Chinese makes him so proud. Another thing is that the drink was too awful to drink. Please train your staff with good attitude towards their customers.

Gong Cha has been a hit and miss for me, and the one in Chadstone is probably somewhere in the middle. Pleasant enough but nothing exceptional. The Earl Grey Milk Tea was a bit light on flavour, but the pearls was decent enough. Soft and chewy, it satisfied by boba cravings. The Matcha Red Bean Smoothie was also a bit subtle on the matcha flavour but the texture of the smoothie was great. Not too thick, yet smooth enough. The red beans added a hint of sweetness to the drink.

Weird ordering system, you have to know what you are ordering before queuing as you wont be able to see the menu until you reach the counter. However taste wise, its good

No queue maybe due to it being labelled as closed on google map. Ordered brown sugar milk tea and a oolong brew. Exactly as desired. Thumbs up for the girl on duty!

Love gong cha, the upstairs store I HIGHLY recommend as there is better service and higher quality care in the drink making process. LOVE the girl who always works upstairs!

Always love a good bubble tea. The queue was pretty long but moving. I was actually waiting for a bit while the cashier was relaying her orders to the tea prep staff. I was pretty surprised and delighted when the next cashier who happened to be done with his customer and just awaiting for payment to be made, asked me for my orders so that I would not be left waiting. Pretty good service in my opinion. Ordered a lychee tea with aloe Vera. I was not disappointed and I liked the refreshing aloe vera. I also ordered a chocolate milk tea. I would have preferred it to be thicker though. All in all, I was pretty happy with the service and drinks standard overall.

I love their fruit flavored teas. Their quality is always consistent. I also like that they are very quick considering the volume of customers they serve. Visiting this stall is like a ritual for me every time i visit Chadstone.

I ordered a brown sugar boba and a chocolate matcha for my friend. The chocolate matcha was okay except for the boba which was awful. And the service was really bad. The girl working there was so rude even though there was no customers behind us, she had no patience while enquiring her about some drinks. And I quote her “ what do you mean dairy milk” when asked if there are any dairy milk substitute. She was really really rude.

Interesting flavours. I was most impressed with the sales girl today. She was on her own working like a busy bee and had many orders to make before me. She deserves a medal, preferably an extra hand.
