Receptionists are terrible. Very unhelpful, unfriendly, and reactive. Don't accept feedback and if you complain, they will argue against you. No empathy whatsoever. If you are unlucky and sit far away from the doctor's room (they don't tell you what room to go), you will never hear the doctor calling you (even worse if the doctor has a low voice and is wearing a mask). This means that you will miss your place in the queue and if you don't go to enquire why is taking so long, you can be sitting there for hours as the receptionists don't really care to let you know that you were called, even though you were sitting pretty much in front of them, they knew who you were and made eye contact with them several times while waiting. How did they know who I was? Because as soon as I asked why it's taking so long - straight away without even asking my name she said, 'you were called already'. They are not there to help you out. It would be a miracle if you get any effort from them. So bad for us the patients that have to deal with their incompetence.

Asked for the wait time for next available, I was told it would be between 30 mins to an hour but I ended up waiting more than 3 hours. After waiting an hour I asked if my name had been called (maybe I had missed it) and I was told I was next in line, but when I checked another hour later I was told there were 3 people a head of me? I know this isn’t a one off event because it seems to happen every time I come here. Reception desk is understaffed and left unattended at times. Some of the doctors are great, but don’t waste your time. Even with a booked appointment you still have to wait

This place is lucky to even get a star! nobody ever answers the phone, wait times are always 1-2 hours but really you wait 3-4. No priority given to babies. poor communication between staff- when telehealth is booked expect nobody to call you. I called to check my appointment and was told 3-4 hrs. I checked at 6 hours and I was assured I would be called soon, nobody did ! this place needs more staff, more training, can't recommend this place sadly

I’ve recently had a bad experience here. I had a blood test taken over two weeks ago and was told I’d be called in a few days with the results. I never received a call, I’ve called them three times only to be on hold for 40 minutes and I’ve given up each time. I’m not sure if I’ll ever receive the results of my blood test. Aside from this bad experience, Dr Chan and Dr Sacks are both fantastic and I would happily see them again.

Have been trying to contact reception for the last few days as i need to book in an appointment but can’t book online due to my symptoms , it has been impossible to get through to the receptionist without it taking 5 attempts and hours of wasting time . I had a telephone appointment as I was really sick and was experiencing chest pains and fevers and the doctor could barely care at all and just asked me if I want antibiotics and I was like of course ? Didn’t ask any questions or anything. Had to go to the hospital two days later due to having pneumonia and the nurse at the hospital said I shouldn’t have been on the medication I was on . It’s just a waste of a clinic . They just want to bring in the numbers but not results absolutely never going back .

I was on the phone for 37 minutes to book a Telehealth appointment. The recorded message said expected wait time is 5 minutes. I came in to the reception and the 2 receptionist were talking yo each Other no one in the queue the phone wasn’t ringing and was told to call to book for telehealth. I was on the phone on hold for 43 minutes by this time and in person just to get told to book the next because Dr Wines is not working on the day. No apologies. 0 customer service and very unprofessional. This medical centre is going from bad to disaster

lousy patient care. I can't understand how a health care center has such poor phone service. I spent 3 hours on the phone without getting an answer... I went with the phone "still on call" I arrived at the reception and there were only 2 receptionists... the place was empty, only 2 receptionists talking to one of the doctors... .. I thought it was disrespectful... my cell phone was still ringing... I demanded that they explain this to me.... they simply told me "you can leave your claim" "we are only 2 people, you have to understand". I saw those two people not fulfilling their commitment... or doing their job. I do not recommend for any reason to come to this medical attention center.

The waiting times have been greatly reduced and it is now a pleasure to go there. Dr Sacks is my preferred GP and his dedication from diagnosis through to follow up and through is second to none. I feel he has a genuine interest in my total well being.

Doctors are wonderful but the booking process is woeful. No answer to the phone call except a recorded message which says all staff busy and you are number… in the queue. No number given!! Then you have a wait time of less than 5 minutes. Meanwhile 25 mins later I gave up and pressed 2 to have a return call and would supposedly not lose my place in the queue. As I wanted a Telehealth appointment I could not do this on hot docs so had to persist. Not good. But I rang at 10. Nothing by 2pm. Rang again and no return call by 6.30. Rang again and same messages for another 30 mins. Will again press 2 So that’s ALL DAY WAITING TO GET THROUGH. I’ve been attending this medical centre since and before it opened but will have to think seriously about getting another practice. If I had Covid and needed the special medication urgently I would not be treated. Not happy!!

This place never answers the phone. I’ve called at least 8 times this morning and waited on hold for an hour. Won’t let you come in with cold symptoms but also won’t answer the phone. When I’ve driven down there, the receptionists just ignore the phones. The only reason I keep returning is for Dr Wong who is incredible.

I tried to contact the medical centre over the phone regarding getting a flu shot and booster, unfortunately I have been waiting for almost a hour, nobody answered. Usually this happened since I believe a year or 2 ago, but I hope this will change sooner or later I don’t know. With the doctor wait times I’ve experienced before, me and my parents went to book a appointment to see dr Wong during the day but they said that we have to wait longer than usual due to the backlog of patients, instead we have to get there around early morning to book, so that way it will be quicker. It’s best to reduce wait times so I can easily go and see my general practitioner.

Had injections done within the treatment room around the back of the practice. The nursing staff within this area were amazing with swift service and a kind demeanour. Would highly recommend.

@Mel in the treatment section: it’s not often I come to the doctors but Mel has really shown such an abundance of care and compassion when it came to treating my burn. Coming from a manager background there’s nothing more I’d want out of my staff than what Mel has shown.

Reception was effortless and helpful. Doctor was helpful and kind. Cleaner environment. I found that disabled patients had to queue up among others to see the receptionist was heart breaking. Older patient behind me, offered her my place twice and she refused to take it. She was walking with two walking sticks. I wish they can sit and wait with out losing their place. Mean time very quickly everyone was attended. I believe should be a priority que for older patients.

If I could give this place lower I would, for 2 days I tried to call for an appointment to no avail, even the call back never happened 3 times, this morning I went in in the hope of seeing a doctor but was told no appointment the wait will be at least 4 to 5 hours! Went home and tried calling again and gave up after 2 hours on hold! The website is useless also , the pandemic is over please get a better excuse! Also while the wait to be seen by the lovely rude girls at the desk I was the only one in the queue waited there for 10 mins before being called over whilst they were on the phone!??? I would love to know who they were talking too as I have wasted three days trying to call!

Good medical centre with good doctors. 3 stars because they will always tell you the truth that the wait is extremely long and the service is never bad. If you want to see a doctor fast or only require a short consult - go anywhere else. My recommendation; if you need to go here (to see a specific GP) is to book 2+ weeks in advance to obtain the day/time combination you need. Extremely long wait times (3-4 hour wait), all the time.

Two stars for the lovely receptionist. I made an appointment for 6.30AM. The Doctor was about 15 minutes late , he then spent about 60 -90 seconds with me and then I was charged $100 - I didn't realise an early appointment was considered out of hours. Also I thought due to his lateness (he was actually late to work), the ridiculously short time of the appointment it would have been a nice gesture to bulk bill in this instance.

I highly recommend the medical centre and particularly Dr Sacks. He is very smart, attentive and perceptive and has his finger on the pulse. It is reassuring to know someone with such competence is looking after your health. The front desk, treatment room and x-ray staff have always been very efficient and friendly to me and my appointments have always been spot on time. The environment is comfortable, light and spacious and easy to access with ample parking.

Needs to employ more staff, especially on their phones, waited over an hour to ask a simple question. Could maybe also advise on your website what pathology company you use.

Dr Maryam Ronagh 0 stars I had an appointment today January 11th at 11:45am. The appointment was nearly half hour late. There where no patients in front of me as I was waiting outside the doctors office from 11:40am. No patients where being seen and the doctor came out of her office around 12pm. I was just about to leave when she came back around 12:10pm. I went in explained I had chest pains, diarrhoea and some conjunctivitis. So I am given an STI test? Why? As I clearly had some kind of infection. To top it off the appointment was less than 5 minutes. Plus I was not told at reception when I checked in that she privately bills. I explained beforehand I had a pension card nothing was said about a $85 fee. Then they try to charge me nearly $85 for the appointment afterwards. I explained I didn't have the money to pay and had a pension card but no body seemed to care. Then to top it all off they ring and leave a voice mail at 2:20pm saying I haven't paid. I spoke to them in person and twice on the phone about this issue. Now they are harrassing me. I won't be going back to this medical centre it was a joke. Unprofessional, Uncaring and won't be going back.

Doctors and staff are very friendly and thorough, however if you need to get through on the telephone you need to have 30-45+ minutes available to spend on hold. I have had to call several times because of missed telehealth phone calls (doctor called early), prescriptions not emailed when they should have been, etc. and each time I eventually get through the person answering says they are aware of the wait length and are working on improving it. However, this has not improved in a period of at least six months. Today I have spent 40 minutes (and still waiting) on hold and have been told regularly at intervals that my call will be answered in two minutes ... which is obviously incorrect, but this was the message I first received when my call was connected, and has been repeated several times. Not everything can be done online or needs to be done by visiting in person, which I would think would be appreciated during these times of COVID-19. Update: after 40 minutes of hold my call was disconnected.

Despite having an excellent experience on previous occasions at this centre. I found my experience unsatisfying. The doctor collected very little information and did not check temperature and told me I had a condition which was obvious with no concern to identify the cause then in my opinion to cover this lack of care said if you don’t feel better by Tuesday see your local GP. Enjoy the $100 you collected. I will be reluctant to attend your centre or recommend your centre to other people (which I have done frequently) again.

Exercise Physiologist Sharon has been very out spoken, friendly and feels and understands the patients. She understands and explain each exercises so thoroughly that non English background patient can understand what she want the patient to do so that they can get back to their normal state. Her exercises are very effective for me. Thanks you Sharon. Kavita the receptionist has been very patient and helpful with booking the appointments. Calling for confirmation for the next appointments and so on.

Clean and tidy Medical Centre. Toilets sometimes need extra cleaning..high usage.Staff on front desk could be more sympathetic especially when patients are very obviously very ill, especially the elderly or children. If booking in to see a doctor it is unacceptable that a patient has to wait 1-2 hrs to see the doctor. There is either over booking, doctors arrive late to surgery for their shift. an obviously ill person waiting that amount of time is very very stressful.Once you get to see a doctor the majority are highly professional and listen to the patient. It is convenient that there are also many other services on site.

Dr Ali, an amazing doctor. I have never had a GP who is as thorough in his evaluations as Dr Ali. He even makes the effort to call you and check how you are tracking. Thanks for your continued interest in my health Dr Ali.

Mieko was my care plan nurse since before. She was very professional even called my husband to follow up where I was, I can see she was very concerned about me and my well-being. I really appreciate everything you have done for me and your advice. Hopefully see you again next year. Thank you so much.

I went to the medical center last week for my usual followups, and as always, Kaylene, the receptionist, was absolutely amazing with her job. This was my third time encountering this staff member at the desks and her attention to details are spot on. She was fast and handled the crowd beautifully. Couldn’t have asked for a better service than this. Thank you for this.

I had an appointment with Dr Vincent Cistulli at this medical centre. I arrived 10 minutes early. After an hour of waiting the good doctor gets back to his room with half a sandwich then proceeds to call in a patient that arrived after me. For someone with such poor time management skills a reasonable person would have no choice but to question their medical prowess. I ran out of time and had to cancel so didn't get to find out. If you want to contact them by phone I suggest you grab a sandwich also because it's gonna take a while. I gave up on the 40 minute mark. I hope and assume there are other medical centres run in a more professional and courteous way. I did appreciate them sending me a request to leave a review after wasting a couple of hours my day though.

I'm confused as to why trying to make an appointment by phone is not available. Rarely the phone is answered at 8am only I have just spoken to reception I was told the system is now working and improved As you know Dr Merey has retired. I requested another Dr thinking she would be a good replacement being a member of your womens health service I was extremely disappointed to find her behavior very odd and not medically appropriate. If you have a system in place to report this please let me know. I will look on your website but don't think I will find anything. Perhaps this is needed Obviously she does not fit as a replacement Dr

I'm on holiday from the UK and I was treated at the surgery by Dr Alan Kim for a chest infection. The service and treatment I received was first class. If only I could receive the same standard of treatment with my own doctor in the UK on the NHS.

Great experience with Dr Frederick Gudex! Felt so comfortable chatting with him! Did my skin checkup with Dr Gudex and he was so nice and caring which I really liked. He doesn’t rush you and he takes the time to take care of his patients. 10/10 Defs see him if you are wanting a great service and not feel pressured. #happypatient

Waiting times have reduced and the app has been upgraded to include Telehealth which is really helpful. Dr Sacks is a wonderful GP, very responsive , kind and considerate. Getting through to reception however is still a challenge. This part of the service offering really needs an upgrade.

What an incredibly deceiving practice. When booking the appointment it says all over the website that this is a bulk billing appointment, I called the centre and they also advised that this appointment was bulk billing but unfortunately after my appointment I was charged $85. Incredibly disappointing. The doctor I visited also didn’t bother to do basic checks on me. I presented with a sore throat, cough, runny nose and watery eyes. My temperature wasn’t checked nor did he listen to my chest … which in my opinion is the bare minimum. Not to mention he was running 40 minutes late. An incredibly disappointing practice taking advantage of sick people. Truly disgusting. UPDATE: The following day after feeling truly awful all evening, I went to another GP: Health Promise in Mosman and they actually bulk bill. The doctor there checked my blood pressure, oxygen levels, temperature AND listened to my lungs. With this information he was able to diagnose me with BRONCHITIS prescribing me with antibiotics and a puffer. I must say my experience at Warringah Medical & Dental was truly terrible and I’m shocked the doctor I saw is even allowed to continue practicing with the little concern and time he gave me. Clearly this practice is only operating for a pay check.

Great centre with thorough and educated doctors. The medical centre can get quite busy, but otherwise a pleasant experience. Reception staff are eager to help and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Richard Sacks for any complex healthcare needs, he is an outstanding GP.

My latest visit to warringah medical centre was nothing short of fantastic! My appointment was bang on time (on a Sunday) at 1pm! Dr.Sacks was thorough with his questions, and I was immediately tested for an ECG (lovely nurse), Blood tests (didn’t hurt) and urine. Then I was given the results for all by 6.10am Monday over the phone by Dr. Sacks, a time that suited me. Every thing was swift, efficient and very friendly. A one stop shop! I highly recommend WMMC.

5 stars for Sandy on the front desk! Absolutely brilliant at her job. Unfortunately I missed the time for walk in appointments on Boxing Day, but as I sat waiting to book one for the following day, I was blown away at how well this girl did her job. From helping her co worker with the phones/ enquires, helping people in line, attending to people in the waiting room, Sandy had a handle on everything, showing such patience and grace and no sign of stress as people all needed her attention at once. Well done! Such professionalism and care

Very happy with my experience. Visited the clinic with my brother and we were greeted by the receptionist “Kaylene”, her warm demeanour and lively attitude immediately put my brother at ease as he was anxious for his appointment. She was patient and answered all our queries promptly as well. Thanks for this wonderful experience. Will be recommending this clinic to all our friends and families.

I did not give 5 stars only because no place is perfect. My personal doctor is Richard Sacks and I would give him 5 stars if I could. He is and has been highly informative and competent and most supportive. I have also received advice about receiving treatment for my prostate cancer which was excellent. I am also under treatment for mild bone density problems. I have also received excellent advice from your physiotherapists. I also had my cataracts removed in your day surgery with excellent support and results. The nurses on site have always been friendly. helpful and efficient. I do not look for any other place to look after my health. I am lucky to have found this place and I recommend it to all.

I am a regular patient and there all the time, never had to wait more than 15 mins to a doctor every time i have come in, I have always received best ever customer service from Sylvia. Sylvia has always help me and the only person I would see, Sylvia has been so kind and has always explained everything in detail so I am aware of everything before seeing a doctor even if there is a long waiting time, Sylvia has always came up to me and told me if there has been increased waiting time to see a doctor. There is no better receptionist than Sylvia that has helped and explained things in detail and understand patients issues no matter who the person is me or someone else Sylvia is a great asset to the Warringah Medical Centre.

Like any doctors there will always be a wait to be expected. I pass the time chatting to others awaiting. It's amazing the conversations one can have and to pass whatever time having a bit of a laugh with others too. Most doctors there and reception staff are fantastic and I have been attending this centre for many years. Thumbs up on most good days and a good book on another day. 👍🤗😁

Tonight, Kaylene the receptionist was so helpful. Was super friendly even though she had so much to do and was by herself. She’s so considerate. She took time out of her day and helped me lodge a Medicare claim as she mentioned that she could not claim from her end. She really really helped me tonight. What a lovely girl!

We have been going to this medical centre for over 50 years and still are very satisfied clients with complete satisfaction with their staff and facilities. Yes, you can wait an extended period to see your favourite Doctor but this bad to be expected at a community health centre. However, the wait is nothing like the waits people have to endure at the Northern Beaches Hospital although no complaints as the NBH is a modern hospital marvel with awesome staff and facilities.

I visited the centre recently and at the start of the visit something happened where the computer crashed and I had the chance to talk to the young lady at reception who introduced herself as Kay. She was great and very energetic whilst we waited for the computer to reboot! Great laughs and chats. Doctor Wines was reliable and great as always too! Awesome experience.
