Emily was very helpful in a genuine 'want to help you type of way' and went the extra mile to get the right product for me. I'm sure the rest of the staff are also good but ask for Emily if you want the best.

She was super friendly and professional found the items I wanted. She held them for me until close. I bought both the items set aside because I was so happy with the service. My prefered place to go for all clothing and footware. And for good reason, the quality of product and quality of service. Customer service is top notch, (especially Jennifer) the staff are not salesmen waiting to swoop but they are there if/when needed and when you need them, they are always very patient, kind and have a generous attitude - in thier efforts and attention and knowledge and don't just try to up-sell you. They will let you know if there is an excellent offer on that will be in your interests. It is evident that they go out of thier way for you (not the sale). I have had this pleasantly posative experience at the Rouse Hill and Castle Hill stores and I know the staff work accross both stores. The After Pay service is seemless, interest free (if you manage well) and linked to your CC for further interest free time, points and more time for cash offsetting.

Purchased 4 pairs of hiking boots (for over $200 each!!!) on May 30 however needed to return 1 pair as it did not fit the person it was gifted to. I called Kathmandu within the returns period was over (and which happened to be during lockdown in Sydney and stores were closed) they told me their returns would be extended and I could go into any store to return even in Canberra (where I was moving to). And guess what, people in store said they knew nothing of accepting returns after the lockdown and told me to go back to Sydney to see if they would accept it. After some time the manager in Canberra called Castle Hill in Sydney to see if they would accept the return and they also said no they were not aware of any extended returns. I have learnt that Kathmandu will tell you any lies so that they can keep your money. Disgusting experience having been told to travel interstate because no one wanted to assist me (initially before an hour long argument). Clearly they do not uphold their policies. Sent an email over a month ago and it was ignored! Be warned when shopping with Kathmandu particularly during COVID times - they wont help you - rather shop at Macpac and least they are more helpful! I definitely will not shop here again.

The store is poorly signposted in the Centre so is difficult to find Could not get the store to answer the phone to get directions….when we eventually got there someone had turned the ringer off! Must have been a quiet day!

This is a new store of Kathmandu. The store is smaller as compared to other Kathmandu stores and the product line is thus limited as well. It is conveniently located but if you are a big Kathmandu fan you may find it more productive to visit some other Kathmandu store.
