Great experience with the venue staff, food and entertainment. Ate at the American Express Lounge before our show and the staff were extremely friendly. The menu was limited in the lounge, but catered for everything we needed for adults and kids. Access to the venue was easy via Uber and Train from the city.

Unfortunately l cannot comment on the interior of the Entertainment Complex as l only dropped off a charter group but what l can say is that it is a huge complex with ample parking for cars, taxis and buses. Very green location with an expanse of parklands, trees, walking tracks and a lagoon. Wheelchair friendly access and parking. Brisbane Entertainment Centre can easily be accessed via the Gateway Motorway or by Sandgate-Beams Road with plenty of signage from the motorway and other approaching roadways. There is also bus and train services to this complex. This location hosts many major concert events and also has an indoor sports complex.

Came here in 2021 for the Wiggles, back again for Disney On Ice 2023!๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Great entertainment centre. Amenities inside and out. Multiple entry ways so check your event tickets prior to arrival. It is adjacent Boondal station so it is about a 600mtre walk from it. Parking available for a fee during scheduled events. Always receive pretty good service here๐Ÿค—

Always love seeing shows at this Venue. Ever since I was a little girl, I always felt the safest here. There are plenty of security in and out of the premises always cautious, knowledgeable and friendly ready to help you in any way. I saw my first concert by myself with my friend a few weeks ago and we felt very secure. We even decided to catch the train back home to avoid traffic and in the station there were still security out and about making sure everyone was safe and could get home comfortably. All of these safety precautions did not stop the quality of fun though. The atmosphere was amazing! You could feel the stage presence even if you were on the upper seats. I didnโ€™t find the lights to be too distracting or too bright, like some venues, it all supported the act very well. The sound quality is also top tier. Very well balanced and clear. The chairs that I sat on was very comfortable as well. The only thing I wish they improved on is cheaper beverages, most importantly water. Iโ€™m pretty sure I paid $7 for a 250ml bottle of water. As youโ€™re not allowed to bring outside foods, they should provide water at least. At a big concert, itโ€™s really important to stay hydrated, for me at least. Iโ€™ve found in so many more concerts now, the audience gets so dehydrated and weak that they have to be escorted out of the show early due to headaches to even unconsciousness. I understand the prices in these types of venues are always going to be overpriced, but I really hope they keep this factor in mind for the future as it does effect the health, safety and quality of experience for the audience.

I was here for the KISS concert last week. Ample parking and parking attendants to guide you . Facilities are good and plenty of amenities. Can be a hassle to get out after the concert, especially if you're headed South or West. Overall, great place to see a band or other entertainment. JP

This is a very large venue. There were plenty of marshals to direct traffic, and plenty of parking spaces. The process of moving large numbers of people into and out of the venue is very well managed. The auditorium is a vast room and from the back even the video screens weren't large enough to enable many in the audience to feel engaged with the performer/s. Staff in all areas were, without exception, friendly and helpful. When the performance is under way and the overhead lights are dimmed, the frequent flashing of the ushers' torches as they guide people moving about is very distracting. The bank of orange lights at the front of the stage facing the audience throughout the show are too bright, as is one of the video recording monitors.

Staff were the best. Really helped my partner who is disabled, get to our seats and then to get out when the show finished. Gave us 5 star treatment. Seats were small with no leg room and were very uncomfortable. Food was awesome and drinks were very expensive. Parking costly.

My most recent visit was to see Culture Club. The venue is good, but could be so much better if it were modernised. It didnโ€™t take too long to get through security, as it seemed very well organised. Once inside, it feels really old, food options are limited and kind of expensive for what you get - even for an entertainment venue. We came by train, and that was really easy, even with a disability.

A very nice Entertainment centre. Parking is easy but not cheap. I found the seats pretty narrow at 182 cm and 90kg. Could be better.

Was surprised at how well the sound was for a closed structure and sitting arrangements. Screens and Camera can be improved as quality was lacking and seemed not even 1080p for audience in the far back. Ocerall, Enjoyed the show of Arijit and Lighting and fireworks were well coordinated.

The Killers were fantastic, this is the second time I have seen them here. The staff are friendly but I marked this venue down as the food is just so expensive. Two 600 ml bottles of water and two cracker dogs ( like Dagwood dogs ) cost $28 which is way crazy. The parking is a flat $18 no matter what area you park in. I love coming here as it usually means I will be seeing a band I like. Last band I saw here before this one was Kiss they were really great I was surprised as I expected less ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ

Great venue for the PBR. Seats were well placed and could see everything. Very organized admission with only one hiccup. Make sure you don't take a bag larger than a4 size as you will be walking back to the car or checking it into the bag room. Food, although very pricey was great!

Great venue. Plenty of parking. Good acoustics. Bars need a upgrade with beer on tap. Instead of bottles opened and contents poured in to plastic cups.

Went there for covid vaccination.. show was really boring and got stabbed with a needle, left after 15mins... just joking, it would be a really good venue though, been here in the past for various shows, quite a bit of parking, and close to rail, however it is not the most frequent service on that line though.

Great place for concerts. Every seat offers a great view. Parking is quick and easy. Arrive early to get in close to the entry point. Staff and helpful and friendly. The venue has an efficient system in place for queuing, getting into the venue & egressing after the show. Even when leaving the car park is quick and efficient. Only down side is the steep prices of the Food, so go there for the show, not to dine out.

Went with my wife to Buble! Getting there is easy, parking is easy but the line ups for drinks and eats can be a bit tedious. Otherwise good venue that's getting a bit old in the tooth! Concert was great though!

It was an amazing place. It was crowded with people, but it didn't take away from the great experience of being there. Seeing Fluffy perform there last night was amazing. I highly recommend the BEC for watching concerts or performances.

Visited for a concert. Parking was $18โ€ฆ Iโ€™d rather be dropped off because it took over half an hour to leave the car park. Many people couldnโ€™t find their cars (me included) - all the car parks look the same! I parked in carpark โ€œEโ€ but there are two โ€œEโ€ car parks. Maybe use maps to drop a pin ๐Ÿ“ before you leave your car! Clean amenities. Plenty of bars. Good set up.

Venue was good, parking is great (@ $18), entry is quick and easy, food and drink is expensive, $16 for a burger, $15 for a Canadian Club or Jim Beam can. Genuine view from A Reserve, section 30A, Row A, seat 6 - not the best place to sit, the seats in front are only VERY slightly lower and with a tall person in front, I couldn't see and had to swap with my husband. Not impressed for A reserve, My "cheap seats" for a previous concert were MUCH better.

Wonderful organising of the event. Felt it ran smoothly. Directions were clear and precise. Was told which parking bay I was in. Found all of the staff very friendly. The facilities were clean considering there was a prior event that day. Positioning of the seats were so that everyone got to see the show. My first time going to an event there and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thankyou to the organisers. Brilliant.

Very friendly staff when assisting with my disabled partner. We were watching Cirque Du Soleil. They directed us to the elevator as soon as we got there, got fast tracked in the security queue and they even bumped us to closer seats for free during the intermission so my partner didn't have to climb so many stairs. The actual venue isn't super accessible but it was very refreshing to enjoy a show and not worry about being seen as an inconvenience.

Went to watch Arijit Singh concert here. Fantastic venue. The seating is really good and you can see the stage quite clearly from where we sat, right near the top. Getting there is quite easy too. You can also buy food and drinks there but is a bit on the pricey side (to be expected when going to concerts).

Florence + The Machine 17.03.23 My sister bought general admission and they had seat numbers on the tickets. We get there and general admission is standing or sitting on the concrete floor/mosh pit. I asked the staff is there any way I could get a chair and sit on the side out of the way in the general admission because I have a dislodged disc in my neck and injuries in my hips and knees. I explained that I thought because the tickets had seat numbers we would be in seats and I was rather upset that it turned out they werenโ€™t. I thought I would be faced with sitting on the hard concrete or standing for hours and I was almost in tears knowing I would be in so much pain during and after, that I wouldnโ€™t enjoy the concert. I politely asked and it turns out another lady with a disability was talking to staff about a seat and the staff took us to the front seats that I assume were for disabled or back up seats. They were so lovely to me and didnโ€™t make a fuss or anything. When I went to the toilet and grab something to eat I explained to the door assistant what happened and she was glad I came up to her because all they said to her was that a few disabled people were sitting up the front, no description, so now then at least she knew what I looked like and was so kind to me. Chairs were okay, still got a bit uncomfortable in them but not as much as I would have been if I were standing all night. Thank you to the staff that was helpful to me and so kind. I had a wonderful night with my sister. Shout out to the staff who took our photo afterwards too. I appreciate it. *My sister was able to come with me to the seats for when I needed help and down to the general admission when she wanted to be closer to the stage.

I have seen a few bands here. Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and most recently My Chemical Romance. The venue is great. Seating is nice and the general admission area is large and there is air-conditioning, which is really needed in the mosh. The staff are really nice and responsible there. It is a great venue to see a concert or even a show. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Attended Paw Patrol this morning. Did not have to pay for parking even tho I got $20 cash out b4 I left. Clean, hot food, chips/iceblocks and coffee, lots of parking, 2 toilet facilities, lots of ushers to help find seats. Overall a great experience. Did not get lost once, even found my car.

Went in to get first jab done today (Monday early afternoon) and the venue was well staffed and signage everywhere to know where to go. If you haven't registered before hand, you will need to scan a QR code to bring up the webpage to provide your details such as name, DOB, next of kin, Medicare number, address etc. Ample parking was available and there were many staff members standing at key points to help you get to the right place. The jab itself was quick and I barely felt it. The longest part of the whole trip was getting from the carpark and walking through to where I needed to be and then the 15 minute observation wait after. All staff were friendly and made the experience easy. Well set up and efficient.

1st time here. Impressed with parking in and out was smooth with not too much delay. Good flow also through the gates. Staff friendly and efficient๐Ÿ˜ well done. The fall down was the queue for food and merchandise. I think there are just not enough outlets for such a huge crowd. The seating was good. The concert amazing. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Went to a concert here. Lots of parking. Bar and toilets cater well. Seating was fairly comfortable, some more leg room would've been nice. We had a great view of the stage. Only detraction is when the evening is over. Prepare to wait in traffic awhile.

  • 5/5 Zac F. 1 year ago on Google
Parking was surprisingly easy being my first visit. They certainly know the drill and the optimal traffic management. The venue itself is well laid out with plenty of room to move around for merch stands, multiple food outlets and bars, and areas to sit and eat. Finally getting inside the arena, seating was easy to get to and had a good view of the stage. Leaving took very little time, and most drivers were sensibly letting others out to keep the traffic moving.

My review isn't about the Entertainment Centre but its about an individual doing the traffic controlling at the drive-thru covid testing clinic located on site. If anyone can direct my review to the management of the traffic controlling company that would be amazing! This morning I was ushered into the 7 hour wait line and not long after (due to unforeseen circumstances) I needed to leave the line immediately. I spoke to a few workers (not the traffic controllers) who were unhelpful and told me there's no way to leave and I would have to sit in my car for 7 more hours unnecessarily. I eventually came across a very helpful traffic controller named Isaac who could see I was very distressed so he assured me he was going to get me out of the line. He was willing to go above and beyond to shuffle cars around to allow me to exit through a side gate and before I knew it I had made it out of the line very smoothly. I just wanted to express my appreciation and gratitude for the kindness he showed me (a complete stranger who he owed nothing to). This man deserves positive recognition and a pay rise! We need more empathetic, kind people like Isaac in this world. Thank you so much again Isaac you truly don't understand how much you helped me out this morning. :) Elise

Easy parking no problem getting access. Good signs in all areas. Toilets easily accessible and staff were easy to deal with. Covid 19 vaccination was completed here

My wife and I went to see Andrea Bocelli, the world's greatest Tenor. The BEC is a great venue with a wide variety of food and beverages, plenty of well organised parking, smooth entrance and exit protocol. Toilets are clean and the seating is well arranged with unobstructed views of the stage. The lighting and sound was e cellent, unlike when we watched 'the Kings of Leon' My only gripe was the stewardess who told my wife not to record any of the show as we were sat on the aisle when there was easily over 100 visible phone screens recording small clips of the show for sending to friends and social media that were inaccessible to her due to being seated in the middle of the sections. It's free advertising, it's an honest review, it's good business for them. Time to change their silly way of thinking.

Lots of parking (jokes) no they do a very good job directing all the cars on a concert night. Quick to get through ticket gates, heaps of toilets. Love this venue for concerts.

First time here for a concert, could have been a better experience if the seated crowd weren't allowed to mix with the standing crowd as it was very hard to move or breathe with everyone coming down. Also, Not so good after the concert if you need a Cab or an Uber, it was midnight before I could leave the venue!
