(4.5 stars) Wylie’s Baths is so good, they wrote a book about it that you can buy from the kiosk. Despite the Edwardian features of a very British approach to bathing, including the wooden structures housing a popular café, excellent change rooms and more, the pool itself is one of the more natural environments you can find in NSW. In other words, it’s a ‘living pool’ with marine life, a natural rock bottom, octopus, fish, sea urchins, and more. Tread carefully in this relatively shallow pool as you take in the spectacular views: Coogee Beach in one direction and Wedding Cake Island out to sea. Even looking back towards the entrance is pleasurable, as the whole place feels like you are in some retro time warp of an endless summer captured in old paintings or photographs. We hadn’t been here in decades and felt a bit silly about that after finally returning. This is an archetypal Australian pool experience and is highly recommended.

Beautiful place. Nice views. Big wide and spacious. Staff are nice. I give it 4 stars coz the whole pool is pretty much rock pool with just concrete structure. There could be sharp sea urchins in water so watch out. So the rock pool is perfect for swimmers who need that privacy. You can touch the ground but it's best to avoid walking in the pool coz of the rocks and coral etc. I also give it 4 stars coz of the $5 entrance. I think it should be like $3 or $4 bucks. But yeah id's go back if I want to avoid crowds. Not a place for little kids. Coz they need to have floaty or need to swim without touching ground.

This place is very beautiful, especially in the morning it’s so peaceful. It’s a place to be when you want to clear your mind.

Wylie's Baths is a great spot to go to if you want to get away from the crowds at Coogee Beach. It costs $5 per person to enter and there is a canteen where you can purchase things from. There are change rooms with showers and toilets as well as a large covered area with tables and chairs at the top entry level. You need to walk down about 20 steps or so to get to the Baths. There is no sand; just concrete which can get really uncomfortable to sit or lie on for too long. The Baths are quite large but they are full of sharp rocks and slippery algae which makes it really difficult and uncomfortable as well.

Great place to swim and chill at the southern end of Coogee. Cafe good too but can be a bit challenging to find a park.

A local gem - as a local family an annual family pass is a must - the pool is lovely and generally uncrowded, there’s a splendid community vibe to the whole place and the cafe is affordable and delicious.

An amazing place! Great view from the deck over Coogee beech and Wedding Cake island. It has a nice cafe with good coffee and food/cakes/ice-cream, and friendly staff. Can easily chill here most of the day. Nice changing rooms with showers (20c for a 2 min hot shower). Make sure you check the tide times and the live pool webcam on the website before you go as it can get quite choppy. When the tide is low and the sun is out, the pool and swimming conditions are amazing. Also cool to snorkel there as there is plenty of sea life in the pool. A hidden away gem in Sydney.

First visit and very impressed. OK it was a sunny Saturday morning but don't believe my overall impression would have been different if it was cold and pouring down - pleased to see it was quite busy. Great to be able to get out without the hassle of sand to contend with;-) Hot shower (hot water solar powered 👍) to finish off before a surprisingly good flat white. Oh, and no shortage of tables to sit at and enjoy it.

Fantastic spot, gorgeous views, a nice café, and super clean facilities. The only negative point is that due to covid you can't pay for a single entrance but a ten pass, not very convenient if you don't live in the surrounding area.

Absolutely stunning for a swim or a coffee or bite to eat or both. Paradise ! Water so clear and clean. One of the best views in Sydney. Spotted a pod of dolphins from the baths only yesterday ❤️
