The playground that has everything? Yes! Most things that kids and adults truly love are on this playground. This playground sits on top of a hill and is visible from quite afar. It's main colour theme is yellow and red. There is a huge array of play equipment from slides, climbing ropes, a climbing tower, net round swings and there are shaded parts of the playground. There is also a kids bike and scooter track that they can use to explore various parts of the playground. The track has stop signs, pit stop signs, directional arrows, lanes and a finish line. However, unique to this playground is the hamster wheel. There are picnic areas which are shaded and nearby toilet facilities. There are also barbecue areas for cooking up snags, burger patties and steaks. There are also a number of sporting facilities including a fenced off basketball, there is a soccer/football field nearby and cricket pitches and two table tennis tables. For a kids perspective and a review and rating of this playground please search for "Playground Hunter goes to Moncrieff Playground CANBERRA" in youtube.

It's a great park. Just a shame about shaded seating areas and the toilets not being regularly cleaned/checked

Lots of varied playground equipment. Marked footpaths for kids to ride bikes and scooters around. Small carpark, toilets, lots of grass, basketball court, and more.

My grandchildren love this park. It has lots of challenges, a cricket pitch, basketball court with hoops, bike riding park for little children learning ride, water fill up station, toilets, seats to sit on, shaded BBQ area, a large grassed area to run or kick a soccer ball and an outdoor gym area for adults. Very safe park. The toilets were unclean the day I took my grandchildren.

Seems to have everything: open grassed space where some teens were practicing rugby, climbing & play equipment for children, “race track” path, table tennis tables (BYO paddles and ball) basketball court is also a soccer pitch, cricket net, gym/exercise equipment. Electric BBQ (BYO cleaning & cooking gear), chairs and tables under shade at various places. Community Noticeboard. Only one toilet was unlocked when we were there. Water refill station nearby.

I would recommend this wonderful playground for all ages! There are various new equipment including some fitness machines. A big hamster wheel is quite interesting. My kids love to go around the wheel while try to keep them balance. Also a small bike track surrounds the area for kids around 3-5 to learn road safety. Two big slides and several small slides available for kids to explore. There are also lawn areas and BBQ facilities. Toilets are also available; however, quite dirty at the time we stay there. Highly recommend for kids from 3years old to adolescent.

A most amazing park. A 'roadway' to practice road skills. Awesome climbing and sliding activities, gym equipment for older people and a grassy area, too. Toilets, not all open when we were there.

The park itself was a great community resource. Only one toilet was working and unlocked, however. 2 groups of kids who were rude and didn't observe the social equipment etiquette others clearly did. These kids were also the standout unsupervised ones.

Great modern playground. Perfect for most ages. Not much for toddlers but mine loved climbing on the big hill part and the inbuilt slide was fantastic. Loved the variety of equipment and swings. Great bike track for little ones. The gym equipment is fantastic. Love the proximity to children's play equipment. You have the option to workout while the kids play. Parking, BBQ and toilets available on-site. Other sporting facilities close by and nice open field next to equipment.

This is an amazing facility for all ages, set in a high density urban jungle. Two massive play areas for the kids, outdoor gym equipment for the fit, basketball court, cricket nets, ping pong tables and BBQ area. All surrounded by a bike path. Can't ask for more!

Fantastic playground! It's always so busy which means that kids love it. Parking it quite full most times as well. The adult sized hamster wheel is always a winner with everyone there. The large oval, cricket nets, basketball court and activity areas will keep children of all ages busy. One of our family's favourite destinations.

So much for different aged children to do from toddlers to teenagers. BBQ's were clean, free, everyone sharing happily a few birthday celebrations happening. Toilets a bit dirty ,floors very wet and smelly. Very windy and cold so make sure you rug up!! Parking good with disability parking. Bubblers and lots of picnic tables and benches spread throughout the huge playground. Basket ball court, volley ball court, cricket net and large open space to play soccer or footy. Great bike and scooter track, as well as adult futness equipment with instructions on how to use each poece correctly. Lots of people there today but so much room so you can stay socially distant. Great to see so many dad's with there children and grandparents.

This park has lots of different areas for kids to explore and test their abilities. It has a great workout area and playing fields. It’s great to also see a park with more than one swing set located within the park. This park has great potential but does lack shaded areas for parents. Im sure within a couple of years once trees mature this will happen but currently it’s very unshaded and metal seats are very hot. A coffee truck or some type of shop would also be good for parents and kids to refresh themselves.

We love this playground. This playground has area designed for older kids (taller slide) and area designed for smaller children (swings, spinning tubes, and different traffic signs to teach younger children road rules). There are also toilets, shade for sunny days, picnic area, barbeques and a huge area with equipment for exercising! Such a win-win solution, the adult can do a little bit of exercising while watching the kiddies!
