I would like to thank Dr Margaret Donohue for her many years of loyal service in the medical profession and at Myhealth St Helena (formerly the St Helena Mediplex). After 38 years in the profession she has decided to hang up her stethoscope and move into retirement. She has always been a pleasure to deal with as my GP and has been there during both good and bad times to assist with appropriate medical and general advice. Hope you enjoy the many years of relaxation ahead.

St Helena Mediplex is quite the standard Medical Clinic. They have professional front staff and friendly doctors. However what makes them head and shoulders above all other clinics within neighbouring suburbs are doctors such as Dr John Smith. He is very friendly, professional, and caring doctor, despite receiving not so 'good' results he is always supportive and encouraging! Dr John Smith is definitely an asset to this clinic. Very highly recommended.

I was under the care of the excellent Dr john Smith (since retired ) for many years. He saved my life twice. i asked another local retired Dr (friend) who would best replace him he recommended Dr Melanie Tait. He was not wrong Dr Tait is brilliant very caring professional and extremely thorough. Highly recommended

To be honest, I’ve never had a bad/negative experience at this practice. * The location is perfect! * The layout of the clinic is perfect! * The front desk/admin staff are great! * The nursing staff are great! * Their time management skills are excellent! * All the Dr’s who I’ve consulted here (especially Dr Rose) are: - excellent in addressing your needs in the most efficient way possible, - very knowledgeable, - clear/concise, - respectful, - cheerful (where appropriate), - they never try to rush the consultation, - & are simply very nice people,

Reception are always very friendly while juggling being busy. Doctors are more thorough and take the time needed as compared to bulk bill clinics. Worth the extra $ above Medicare rebate to get the significantly better service and care.

I am very fortunate to have found this practice after my previous doctor retired. I have seen 2 doctors here and can honestly recommend this practice. They are lovely caring doctors who are prepared to go the extra mile to help. Reception staff are friendly, and they have a pathology nurse on site also. ❤️👍

Gary Rose’s care and expertise in removing a skin cancer on my forearm was handled with great professionalism. The nurse assisting was excellent and the process to get to this point very thorough and thoughtful.

I really like two of the female doctors here, but won’t go any more because on average they run more than an hour late. And that’s on a good day. The reception staff are very unpleasant and it doesn’t change even when you e been going for years.

Got charged double ($151) because my consultation was more than 10 minutes. Another person paying at the same time was charged $60 because she rang her doctor to see if results had been received and had to make another appointment to discuss them.

I have been a patient for 30 years and have always been happy with the wonderful doctors, nurses and ladies on reception. A special mention to Dr. Emma Jane Greenhill who is very caring, emphatic and treats you with warmth and respect, thank you Emma Jane. Thank you also to the other caring doctors I have seen and put me at ease. The practice is well laid out and the pathology unit with the very kind Tess is very convenient to have on the premises.

My husband and I have been patients at St Helena Myhealth for over 20 years and in those years we have seen a few different doctors who have all been great but I must say we are so impressed and very happy to call Dr. Rylie Wallace our doctor. She explains things in a very clear and thorough manner, is always kind, friendly and never hurries the visits. The staff at reception are really lovely too. My daughter had he 4 year old immunisation today and nurse Robyn was so gentle and kind. We also see Dr Tait and think she is amazing! Myhealth St Helena is definitely worth the visit.

Saw Dr Gary Rose after my daughter face planted on the concrete. Was seen immediately and such a lovely manner. He showed compassion and gave detailed information. Nurse was also exceptional.

I saw Cheryl Catterall for my flu shot, scripts, blood test slip, referral and a quick discussion re my health; and as usual Cheryl efficiently and quickly managed to do all this in record time and more importantly she still took time to answer any questions I had regarding my health. She is an amazing caring person.

My kids and myself see Dr Rylie Wallace. She is always thoughtful and does not rush through discussing any issues that we have. Front end staff were again helpful. My experiences here are consistently positive.

Doctors are very thorough and show compassion. Dont have to wait half an hour for your appointment. And even though all surgeries are extremely busy at the moment, they have a good system in place where if you call early in the morning you can usually get an appointment .

I have found all staff to be pleasant, efficient and kind. My Dr is extremely knowledgeable and very kind - excellent advocate in difficult situations and as with all staff, deals promptly and consistently with paperwork, information and communication - literally saved my rapidly diminishing sight and set me up for the best possible outcome. Effective, empathetic and efficient!! It’s always clean, tidy, well lit and not crowded. Despite all the staff being great - I expect they don’t make appointments to constantly overlap. I’ve been a patient for 25 years. I’m very happy with all the staff and want to thank the receptionists for their help over the years and obviously the doctors. I must admit it’s harder now to get an appointment than it’s ever been and sometimes need to go elsewhere. But here is always my first choice.

The new receptionist has zero customer service skills, she’s rude and has no empathy. She’d be better suited to working in an abattoir.
