Amazing drinks and amazing service from staff - usually. Unfortunately today we experienced service from a high up staff member / potentially the boss / owner, very unpleasant experience which started waiting to order whilst he was speaking down to a young girl who worked there, then proceeded to serve myself and my partner in a very rude and arrogant manner. Pretty dissapointed such an amazing shop is being ran by such an a hole.

Coffee is delicious but the owner is the rudest I’ve ever seen/spoken to. Speaks disgustingly to customers. Business would do much better if he were not serving customers. I cant imagine what the poor staff have to put up with.

Owner should stop taking orders as he was extremely racist towards us and very condescending, hence he always needs employees. Can’t imagine anyone working for him longer than 1 shift. I tried to speak to the staff member about his behavior and he did not want his staff taking any feedbacks. Entitled business owners like him should go bust. My coffee was burnt and my wife’s coffee was watery, never going back there even if they try to sell more by keeping the business open for longer hours.

Horrible horrible experience. The owner was extremely condescending and racist. Coffee was s**t. When we expressed our grievances to one of the staff, the owner saw us talking to the staff and he came out running to intimidate us. We have never had this horrid experience ever in hospitality sector in our entire life of living in Australia for 15years.

Horrible owner is horrible to staff and expects you to join in on the 'joke'. What's a joke is that this clown is still in business, I guess you don't need to sell many $12 coffees to stay open. Go to any of the other excellent cafes a short walk away for really good coffee and amazing service.

Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever experienced! The owner was so condescending and rude, i'm absolutely shocked that he is still in business!! I mentioned the rudeness i experienced to a few locals who ALL said the same thing - HE IS SO RUDE. Travelled to Tasmania on holiday and was the worst experience during our whole trip. To anyone travelling to Launceston, I highly recommend you avoid this coffee shop in the Mall, I would rather give up coffee than step foot in there again....

Upon paying I had to double check the menu in shock, I was not expecting to pay $12 for my coffee. No add ons & no dietary alternatives included in the price. It was okay but I will happily go anywhere else in the future for much cheaper. I have also heard the stories around Launceston regarding the owner being racist and verbally abusing staff, this is not a local business I can support.

If you’ve read the other reviews regarding the owners poor attitude. They’re right! I just wish I had never purchased a coffee from this awful little man.

The lady was lovely, she made us a delicious drink, however the gentleman was extremely rude, said some completely inappropriate things, we will never be going there again.

Would rather order Maccas coffee. At least their service is somewhat pleasant. Owner made me feel like a fool because I knew nothing about coffee. Embarrassed me in front of my friend. Would rate negative stars if I could.

I paid my coffee with the coins I had and unfortunately one of the coin was mistakenly paid with foreign coin and the male staff is still going to charge me for the full price of the coffee on Eftpos.. although it’s just one dollar short for the coffee I ordered . I later explained it’s only 1 dollar short and the staff unwillingly charge me 1 dollar. I been there few times and never been satisfied with the service , it’s actually really really bad.

This is a small shop which sells coffee beans & takeaway cups of coffee in the mall. There are seats available outside the shop to sit & drink the brew. I ordered a flat white which didn't give me much of a coffee hit with two shots, so they added another free of charge which sufficed

Nice coffee, nice cake ... but in two weeks in Tasmania this place was the only shop where I experienced rudeness when being served ... quite a shock in relation to the normally very polite treatment you get in Tasmania.

Owner is not very nice at all. Rude and racist. I will not support people that behave like this, and I urge you to reconsider and go elsewhere for your coffee needs. These are super overpriced anyway.

Most rudest person ever meet in Australia. He definitely needs to learn What Really is Customer Service!!! Owner if you are reading this comment, better buy Customer Service Course online and do it!!! As you definitely need to learn it MATE!! Took more than 10mins to make Mocha!! Literally ruined many people’s mood on this holiday season.

The owner is an older gentleman who came across a very eccentric, inhospitable and somewhat racist individual. He was condescending to us and intentionally got one of our names wrong despite asking for the correct spelling (the name was only 5 letters). I do feel like he did this to spite my friend for being a foreigner. All of the other non positive reviews reflect similarly as above so I do believe this is not a chance encounter. Also, I paid $18.50 total for two medium sized mochas. If you want to have your day ruined and get robbed at the same time I would reccomend visiting this place.

these are the best coffees in town, topped with the sweetest staff about! So so generous - I just ordered online and the service was impeccable, I’ll be in to give the workers a tip tomorrow! Bloody legends

Nope not impressed. Within the few steps it took me to get to the counter I had two employees push past without excusing themselves or acknowledgement of my existence.

Variety of coffee flavour to choose from, I ordered Irish nut latte, taste was ok, it is the most expensive coffee I ever had after the upsize and lactose free option, total cost me $10

Caffe' Latte Supreme, espresso, dark chocolate and honey made with steamed milk. AMAZING!!!! This is THE best coffee I have had and I made the 45min drive to buy another one as it was that good. Highly recommend.

Went there to try out their coffee for 1st time. A staff came with friendly welcome. Never seen so many coffee choices before was having trouble to decide. Staff kindly offer recommendation. Got a hot banana coco and coffee. Both are lovely to drink. Bananna is strong so great for any bananna lover out there. The staff was honest with the price for different cup size. Would visit again to see their coffee bean machine when is on.

First off, the overall staff are lovely and genuine. The coffee is solid, so no complaints there. However, the owner is atrocious. He is very rude, with a nonchalant attitude towards customers. If he takes your order, he berates the staff while they make the drinks. The times I have gone when he isn’t there, the wait times are reasonable, and staff are much more chipper. Beware of ever going in the owner is there.

They have this sign that they are hiring baristas. You guys really need one. My small coffee was not worth 6 AUD. It was too hot, so the milk was probably burnt. Friendly staff and great location.

Waited 20 mins for a coffee that they gave to another customer.. then acted put out when I asked for them to make another one.. they made the next one the wrong size. When I advised them they cracked it and told me to take my money back like it was my fault. Not a great experience... still no coffee..

Best drink I have ever tasted, if you don’t visit this place, then you are missing out on a big find. Atmosphere is great with buskers and the sound of coffee roasting. Will return here again.
