Pretty good despite the age, the seats are comfortable, every spot has a great view, and all the decor is nice. Even the acoustics are good!

A nice, cosy theatre but accessibility for patrons with mobility issues who are seated towards the back can be very problematic.

We had a fab time. This cover band Playing in the Shadows of the amazing Fleetwood Mac did them a great service adding their own sound here and there. All of the musicians were talented and quirky encouraging us in the audience to have a damn dancingly good time. These guys would have rocked The Gov as an alternative venue. I'm still singing their songs.

A full house of enthralled spectators enjoyed this local venue for the rendition of Celtic Illusion Revisited. We had ringside seats .. the ultimate art experience close to home! Glad we can do it all again after the covid cancellations of a couple of years ago. The theatre needs a facelift and perhaps something more inspiring than instant tea and coffee available for purchase in the foyer but it is clearly well patronised when there's a good production showing!

It really needs an upgrade, but i love this theatre it holds a lot of memories for me. I also love the layout.

The Hopgood is a wonderful theatre. Great for performing and for viewing. It is going to be undergoing a renovation soon which will be great and dinner things are quite worn. The structure of the theatre is fantastic though.

It's a good spot for local stuff, but the theatre is very dowdy, dirty seats, and needs a good coat of paint. The council needs to upgrade it sooner rather than later

Always great coming here We came for the bluey concert and were not disappointed It's so nice to have great shows available locally - down south! Great for a family outing or even a date night

We attended the Marina Prior and David Hobson show at the Hopgood Theatre, the seats in the theatre were comfortable and the acoustics were good. The only drawback was being that most of the attendees were older it would have been good if there was more access to chairs in the foyer

Great community theatre serving the Southern suburbs, l local schools and whole Fleurieu. Seating access not easily accessible and steps are very steep (odd and even rows) and it is hard to get to seats if you are in the middle of a row. A centre aisle would fix this!

We went there on the 6th of December for a school play. The kids were great but the sound technical side of it was terrible. They couldn't get most microphone working and there was always delays in the songs. This was the same in both sessions they had.

I have attended many shows along with having performed here multiple times. Great space with good seating and plenty of dressing rooms and backstage area. The staff are also super friendly and the bar has a good range of snacks and drinks. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because the headsets would sometimes play up and the sound would either temporarily not work or be crackly. Other than that I love this place and would recommend it!

Wonderful. So happy this place keeps ticking along. Hopefully I'll see many concerts there in the future.

A nice and well maintained place for performances, although the entrance foyer is a bit too small and gets overly crowded at the end when everybody is exiting.

Wow 🤩 we went to see Menopause the musical, so very much better than the change 😂 Wow I seen myself through out the show, I laughed and laughed, the songs the quick changes the characters and their voices Wow 🤩 Well done ladies 🌹🤩🌹🤩🌹🤩🌹🤩what a great night

Great theatre with wonderful atmosphere & staff. Fantastic show with Ron Vincent & band performing Neil Diamonds' music. Wow!! what a voice. Keep up the great work Hopgood people & those that suport them. Keep the shows coming & locals please support this wonderful venue..😃

Looking a little tired inside and out but still functional for the audience. No lift installed at this venue for access to the seats at the back of the Theatre..Two options is to climb one of two option if stairs or take the outside path to level 1..

Great little theatre hidden amongst building near collanades shopping centre. Great viewing and sound. Small and intimate theatre.

Loved the theatre. Should use it a lot more. Great vision. Would definitely come here again
