Stunning views. Beautiful spot. Definitely worth the trip. A bit of planking off the main road. Not heaps. Wasn’t too hard to get a spot. Lots of places to get a good view. Via the underpass or from the viewing platform up the stairs. So many stairs. The water looked so silky and blue. The lovelocks was a cute little find too.

Stunning. The pictures don't do it justice and well worth a stop to walk around. There's a nice path that takes less than an hour to walk with a slight incline (followed by a decline). The blue is seasonal, which I didn't realise with more info in the pictures of the signs. 😎

Up for a 3.5km walk? Go round the blue lake and you get your exercise for the day. Many stopover for a breathtaking view of the lake… else you could also drive to one of the car parks and get the lookout view… weather was on our side when we were there. Blue skies and blue lake!

Awesome creation by nature. Would have been much better experience if there were options to go for a guided tour down the Lake , which is now managed by 3rd party for a larger group. Was a nice walk down to the lookout for a stunning view of the blue lake. The trail around the lake is also well maintained.

Beautiful, even on an overcast day. The lake was a gorgeous turquoise blue but the photos don't show it due to the weather.

Breathtaking water filled sinkhole. Serene and picturesque blue waters and a calming walk around the lake is very refreshing. The blue lake is the primary water supply for Mt. Gambier. There’s a lovely little pump house. Parking is limited, and can get crowded on weekends

Wonder of nature. So blue…..“must see” if you are in Mount Gambier. This bLuetiful lake once was a volcano now it’s dead and the crater glistens a brilliant blue colour. The best place to view the lake is from the Lockers’ look out … 5 stars for me for this wonder

Really lovely place, special and unique. It's well worth your while to go for the 3+km walk around the crater lake. There's many photo opportunities and it's a real "feel good" experience!

People often say that pictures don’t do a natural wonder justice, and in this case, I must agree. The blue colour of the lake is absolutely stunning and it’s an attraction well worth seeing. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend the one hour walk around the lake. There’s not better way to take in all the different angles of the lake! However, you can also drive around the lake if you’d prefer. If you’re passing through Mount Gambier, make sure to stop off. If you’re passing close by, it might be worth taking some time out of your day to visit anyway!

Short walk to the lake, bit of an effort to the top through steps. Lake looks majestic from any angel. Safe, easily accessible.

Stunningly beautiful! If you think it's a lake, and of course it has to be blue... you're wrong. It is actually a different kind of blue color and not just a reflection of the blue sky.
