We’ve had the worst experience here. We were on a bike trip round the lake and due to the direct sunlight at noon my fair-skinned and blonde husband suddenly felt poorly and had to rush in the café’s toilet. He threw up and after he kindly told the waiter about this incident asking for help. The man practically yelled at him, slammed the toilet door and very rudely gave him a bucket and some rags to clean up the mess he made. While he cleaned the bathroom twice as shiny as it was before, I was sitting at a table completely unnoticed, hopelessly waiting for a coffee or anything. After my husband finished in the bathroom and returned the cleaning tools to the man we were “kindly” asked to leave the premises immediately, as if we had at least leper or the plague itself, because “this is not a hospital”. I guess he was freaked out we may had the covid. The fact is I am a family doctor and I know far too much about contagious diseases, including covid-19 of course, we are vaccinated 4 times each and even had the covid earlier, so if he even cared about asking us, I could have tell him that my husband’s sudden illness was the straight outcome of the direct august sunlight at noon, the 3 kms walk without a hat (silly of us, I know) and the lack of fluids. But unfortunately the man was not interested in understanding or helping at all. The coffee could be nice though. Pity that it can not reach the cups by itself.

Ein wirklich cooles Café! Und der Besitzer hat wirklich geschmack, angefangen von Cafe bis hin zu eine ausgezeichnete Rum. Auch das Essen ist traumhaft, nur vorsichtig: Entweder hat man Glück oder man weiß, wann er wieder etwas Großartiges vorbereitet hat. :)

War heute zum ersten Mal da, seitdem der derzeitige Besitzer übernommen hat... und wurde enttäuscht. Obwohl nicht viel los war hat es 10 Minuten gedauert, bis wir bedient wurden. Auf den Tischen gibt es keine Karten mehr, und als wir nur Getränke bestellen wollten wurde uns auch keine Karte gezeigt. Auf gut Glück hab ich dann einen Früchtetee bestellt, mit den Worten "irgendeinen Früchtetee", da mir ja nicht mal gesagt wurde, welchen Tee es so gibt. Bekommen habe ich dann Schwarztee, soviel dazu. Als wir zahlen wollten haben wir es 3 Mal vergeblich mit Rufen versucht, nachdem er unsere Handzeichen nicht gesehen hat; wir sind dann einfach selbst zur Theke und haben bezahlt. Die vorherigen Besitzer waren grandios, was ich heute gesehen habe war schwach. Zusätzlich ist mir noch die unpassende Musik aufgefallen - Partymusik in diesem Café ist bisschen seltsam, vor allem weil fast nur Leute 50+ dort waren. Obwohl gerade zu der Zeit für alle Schüler das Wochenende begonnen hat, zieht es hier kaum mehr junge Leute rein. Die sind wohl verschwunden, als die vorherigen Besitzer/Pächter aufhören mussten. Und jetzt wundert mich das auch nicht mehr. Wirklich schade!

Dieser Ort ist Kult in Eisenstadt. Auch hat sich dort seit 40 Jahren nichts verändert...und dem ist gut so 👏👌👍🖤

Nice place although a little bit expensive for my taste, and I didn't like the fact that there is a smoking room as well and the smoke came out to the place where we sat. But the waitress were really nice.

Tolles Cafe mit sehr netter Bedienung. Ausgezeichnete Weine und der Kernölschnaps ist nurvzu empfehlen.

Es war nur Café und Mehlspeise, aber es war gut und zuvorkommend serviert. Bei Sonnenschein gemütliches Ambiente im Central - Hof
