Highly recommended in your itinerary for Innsbruck. It is accessible by cable cars and you will be awestruck by the engineering as well as a very promising hike with beautiful views all around. I would recommend a day to visit the summit, soak up some sun, enjoy the restaurant and while coming downwards also pay a visit to Alpine zoo on the way which is one of a kind.

The Top of Innsbruck is not far from the very top of the mountains just to the north of the city. After riding the cable cars up you are treated to an incredible view of not just Innsbruck but much of the surrounding valley. You can be forgiven for thinking you are looking at a massive model village. Simply incredible.

If you coke to Innsbruck and don’t go up here then you’ve wasted your entire time. Don’t delay in booking your tickets!! The views are spectacular and the wildlife too! Cute goats and birds up there! Winter or summer this is a must see!

It's beautiful, of course (see the pics), but it isn't easy (or cheap) to get to the top if you're taking the gondolas up. You need three. But, once on top, you're gonna love it! The beginning of a lot of good hiking, scenery, and selfies. 😉 Even if you go in the summer, dress preparedly. There was still snow on the mountain in late June, and the wind can whip!

My family and I have so much luck with the weather and what our eyes have enjoy. The famous bloodmind view of the Top of Innsbruck is 100% unique and moreover it was not crowded. We have a great time and even though of not matter the time it was we could have the chance to skiing, but didn't have the needed equipment at the moment. Although you can rent it on the side, it will be recommended to better plan ahead before going up if you thinking of skiing, moreover this peak is perfect for family walks ( just take good winter boots, you don't want to fall by trying to climb to the very top) and amateur skiing.

This is an incredible place to visit. It’s amazing to take the trip up here. Stop at the zoo on the way, have a beer at another stop, and then head here. The views are like nothing I’ve ever seen. I think you can buy an Innsbruck card to help reduce the price. Often your hotel can help you get them. Ours did, anyway. Enjoy.

Amazing view from the top. Nice and smooth cable car ride up. Easy and moderate difficulty hiking at the top, or a grueling hike all the way up or down if you must. The cable car itself gets very busy and they cram a lot of people on one ride. Try to find a quiet time slot if you can.

Great experience especially to escape 33c in Innsbruck! Bought tickets direct from operator online meant we did not have to queue at the ticket offices at the stops and could express all the way through. No additional cost. Restaurant at the very top is closed but the restaurant at the penultimate stop is great with amazing views and service.

This place is amazing! The weather feels cold which is nice, and the scenery and view is great, only reason why I gave 4 stars is Because the rain was getting strong and they delayed our return to 30 minutes, but that doesn’t mean The place is bad, it’s amazing.

It is amazing!! A stunning 360° view of Innsbruck and the mountains. To get there you need to take the second cable car and walk about 10 minutes to the top of a hill. It looks easy but if it's windy and snowy, it may be a bit challenging. However it's a hundred percent worth it. The price is higher than I expected, nonetheless I will go back there someday.

Easy access directly from the city centre of Innsbruck. Although it was end of season we still found lots of snow. The view is awesome and the restaurant at the top has very good traditional food.

Be aware that the last train back from the top is at 17h. I recommend going in the morning. Tickets can be bought there or online.

Cold at the peak, about 11C, super windy and rained when we visited in mid September. Recommend to bring clothes/gloves to keep you warm and rain gear as well. A few trails to go around, must wear shoes with good grip and closed toe shoes because rocky terrain.

Totally worth the cost. Fabulous views on a sunny day, nice quiet walk at the top and a good lunch in the restaurant. Best falafel ever!

This was a pretty epic day out. Our Family Of four walked back down. The kids had never seen snow before. So the overnight’s dusting on top was a special discovery. The walk down was spectacular. Just a great day.

Beautiful place must visit if you want to share some pictures on social media.. 3 different transports to reach here. Best and reasonable option to buy the entry with travel card.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Easy transportation to the top, or also a longer hike. Lots of trails to different point of interest at the top as well, and a great view of Innsbruck.

Our trip was delayed by the previous days rain and then avalanche blasts in the morning and slightly limited by the blizzard at the peak but the perfect end to a day journeying up the Nordkette

I enjoyed the overall experience, view even in the rain and cold weather. The forecast was sunny in the month of Aug but it rained and I felt bad. The view would have been much better without rain and cloud

Top of Innsbruck is an absolute must for anyone traveling to this charming Austrian city. From the moment you step into the cable car, you're in for a treat. The ride itself is a thrilling experience, gradually taking you higher and higher, revealing more of the breathtaking Alpine landscape with every passing second. Upon reaching the summit, you're greeted with unparalleled panoramic views that simply leave you speechless. Whether you're gazing out at the snow-covered peaks during winter or the lush green valleys in the warmer months, the beauty of nature's masterpiece is on full display. The observation decks are strategically designed to offer unobstructed views, making it an ideal spot for taking stunning photographs and creating lasting memories.

We got the by the Nordekette cable car. On a weekday there were not so many people. There was snow even in June and cold wind. Since we were with a 6 year old child we decided not to hike a lot on top.

The view is simply breathtaking, magnificent! A must-see if you are in Innsbruck. The Nordkette Plus ticket was €49. I would recommend everyone to get an Innsbruck Card (€53 for one day) instead and can use the Innsbruck Card for visiting other places in Innsbruck free of charge. Overall I would say it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours minimum for the visit (from Alpine Zoo station to the peak) including waiting time for the funicular and cable car. Some might want to spend even more time chilling at the top and enjoy the view! :)

The highest point in Innsbruck and for those who love skiing and snowboarding. A good place for visitors to experience snowy mountain in this region.

Had an awesome day at the top of innsbruck. We went through the alpenzoo first and after up to the top of the mountain. The weather was pretty nice and the peak was still covered in snow (beginning of may) Although it's pretty expensive, Alpenzoo + mountain 49 euros. Parking another 4 euros. If you park at the city garage, you need to say that while buying your ticket at the counter.

The journey to Hafelekar, Top of Innsbruck, in early March 2023 was definitely worth it! Breathtaking, unforgettable views! Access to sections of Hafelekar may be closed depending on the season and/or weather.

Amazing, must do experience. My dad took me there when I was 9 in 1989 and I took my 9 yo and 6yo sons there in 2023. Same incredible view but more facilities and activities. Bucket list visit. Oh also the best hot chocolate and strudel at the top.

Absolutely amazing. I recommend buying the Innsbruck pass as you have free access here and other populated attractions and also free public transport.

Fun cable car ride to the top. Once there your experience the awesome views of both the entire city below as well as the beauty of the Austrian Alps around you.

Breathtaking view. Can vividly see the miniature of Innsbruck. On top is actually a Ski resort. One can also just chill and enjoy the view from afar in a restaurant. There are also limited chairs on top, for a first come first to use basis. Its snowy, so be sure to use comfortable and warm clothing. Oh, we went there with a kinderwagen or stroller, there really isn’t a place to roam around with it.
