We wanted the tuna steak and scallop pasta but the tuna had ran out, what a pity, we had to look elsewhere for dinner. The next day we returned and got to try the dishes we had our eyes on. The tuna steak with risotto and the scallop pasta was platted very nicely but beyond that the quality and taste of the Jamaican dishes were higher than our initial expectations. The owner and chef came out to greet us as well and that was a remarkably thoughtful gesture. The interior is nicely furnished too. It was an interesting, comfortable and pleasant dining experience for us. Top!

Sorry to say we had a poor experience. Booked ahead as the reviews were so good. Disappointed that it was 30 minutes before someone took our order, and we waited another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress came back to ask if we’d ordered anything else after our starter, which we had. Another long wait for our mains. Two small crab balls as a starter. Fish and chips listed as plaice, but looked more like frozen cod. Prawns were really good. Overall the food is good but slow and clueless service let it down. There was no Caribbean vibe, music was dull 1980’s pop.

Must visit if you're in Innsbruck. It's probably the best food in Austria. Staff have a sixth sense of when you're ready or need anything. Everything at this restaurant is better than anything I have experienced elsewhere in Europe.

Really enjoyed this place! You can tell how much love and care is put into the food and atmosphere. I had the shrimp coconut risotto and then the knoedel for dessert, and rum punch cocktail. The risotto was packed with flavour, and all perfectly balanced. Honestly didn't want to finish to savour the taste, it was that good! The portion wasn't huge but it wasn't needed because the flavour was rich. Beautiful presentation too. The staff are also lovely and friendly, and the music selection (mostly dub, roots, reggae) makes for a great vibe. Would recommend :)

NEW LOVE PLACE UNLOCKED! There is absolutely no doubt for a 5 star rating. The interior, the service, the menu, the coziness definitely play them in the cards. BUT the mango risotto with tuna steak is from a different planet. I highly recommend the fish fritters and the scallops (see pictures attached) as well …

This is the second time that we visit the Cool Run Inn, this time we went there for new years eve. We had the 5-course menu and it was perfection. The quality of the food is on a michelin-star level, the kitchen staff really know what they are doing. There was live music which created a really nice atmosphere and the service was really attentive and friendly. Thank you Ben and the whole team for a super nice new year's eve! All the best,

We spontaneously made a table reservation here and we were not disappointed at all. The staff was lovely, attentive and brought a bowl of water for our dog without us asking for one. We got a great table just next to the aquarium, where we discovered the biggest white fish is a bully. Surely entertaining and as an experienced aquarists myself I could tell the fish are healthy and water quality is good. So it just added a plus to our culinary experience here. We started with drinks before dinner and both were very good. Although I have to admit I prefer my Pina Colada served in a room temperature glass and not in one that came straight out of the dish washer with a warm bottom. It made me drink mine faster, but it’s ok. Food was excellent, as it’s presentation. We had the fish at the current recommendation menu and the Shrimps on risotto. The white wine of our own choice of paring was perfectly chilled and tasty. Absolutely coming back on our next visit in Innsbruck!

Cool Run Inn is phenomenal. A cosy venue, super friendly staff, and magnificent food. The chef even took the time to check that we were enjoying our evening. 10 out of 10 folks; thanks for a great evening!
