Exorbitantly overpriced for its standard, especially the drastically increased weekend rates beginning from Thursday! It's the most expensive of the 13 Best Alpine Wellness Resorts, but certainly not the best of the 13. No symmetry to decor theme as the reception, lobby & most other areas are old fashioned, then in between there are a few contemporary dining areas. No wifi for regular guests anywhere throughout the hotel or rooms, only weak wifi in the lobby - only guests staying in suites are given the wifi password for in room, restaurants, spa & waterworld areas. It's waaaayyyy too congested, the pools, ponds outdoor area are extremely claustrophobic, all the pools & ponds are right next to each other tightly squeezed together in one cluttered area, there are no open spaces. Rooms have a repugnant odour. Nothing at all through out the hotel is fragranced. No hair conditioner. The new wings rooms have got absolutely no views & are as tiny a prison cell. The women working the Wellness area Gabriel is terribly unhelpful & unfriendly.

We spent a week here to play golf and relax. And for that it is perfect. A few things to note: Our room was wonderful. Very relaxing, with lots of wood. The beds were a little hard for us but after asking if anything could be done this was changed the same day without any problems. The food was just excellent. I've been to other spa-resorts but considering the size of the hotel the food was indeed noticably excellent. I guess better food would only be possible in a massively smaller hotel. I also enjoyed the live-cooking station. Entertainment: if you like to play golf, the hotel is perfectly situated. Also if you enjoy spending all day in the spa. It's less optimal for skiing since you first need to drive for at lest 30-45minutes. Easy hiking seems also possible without problems. The entertainment in the evening was quite astounding. There was a casino night, winetastings (big recommendation, that was awe-inspiring but bring a looot of time), and staff-shows. Most importantly: the friendlyness and helpfulness of staff - which in turn made the guests also being very friendly to each other. In short: while it is an expensive stay, it's one that's well worth the money.

I've been to hotel Schwarz since i'm 9 years old. The Spa is just stunning and the new Sauna world amazing 🙏🏻. The food choice is amazing however it could be a bit more refined. Restaurant service can be improved for a 5 star hotel. I’m sure it will be better next time i visit :)

Seit vielen Jahren bin ich regelmäßig Gast im Hotel Schwarz. Gelegen am herrlichen Sonnenplateau, bietet es zu jeder Jahreszeit eine großartige Umgebung. Speziell die neu errichteten Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und gibt auf alle Fragen freundlich Auskunft. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und mit Produkten aus der Region bestückt. Auch für eine Golfrunde im nahegelegenen Golfplatz ist es ideal gelegen.

Dieses Hotel ist ein Traum!! Ich weiss nicht wo anfangen. Die herzlichkeit, freundlichkeit des gesammten Personal war überragend! Vom Service Personal (uns besonders bekannt, die liebe Romy) bis zur Kosmetik oder auch die Gärtner. SO freundlich!! Essen: 1A! Das Frühstücksbuffet war der hammer!!! Kein Wunsch blieb offen! Kinderbetreuung: Super! Liebevoll! Streichelzoo/Spielplatz: richtig toll! Gepflegt Zimmer: sehr sauber & geräumig allgemeine Anlage: sauber, übersichtlich und sooo geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. An jeder Stelle gibts ein Hingucker! Hotel Angebot: Es wird für jeden was geboten! Obs ein Sommerfest ist oder eine Wanderung in die Stöttlalm. Familyarea: wirklich liebevoll mit dem Kinderspielplatz. Wir Eltern konnten entspannt essen währed unsere Tochter schön spielen konnte. Wellness: von A-Z perfekt! Ich könnte noch ewig schwärmen, doch dies sprengt dem Rahmen. Wir hatten den entspanntestens Urlaub seit ewigkeiten - vielen Dank liebes Schwarz-Team!

Dieses Hotel verdient nicht nur 5*. Hier erfährt man wahre Gastfreundschaft, extrem professionell, hervorragende Küche, ein Hotel der Extraklasse in jeglicher Hinsicht. Das Ambiente intern, wie extern äußerst geschmackvoll- man fühlt sich von der 1.Sekunde sehr wohl. Die Gastgeberfamilie Pirktl ist äußerst bemüht, liebenswürdig und sehr sehr freundlich: ein wirklich grosses Lob- komme bestimmt wieder und freue mich wirklich so ein herrliches Hotel kennen gelernt zu haben. Ich fühle mich jedesmal aussergewöhnlich wohl hier, es ist schwierig zu beschreiben….denn es ist nicht wie zu Hause, nicht wie in einem „Hotel“ sondern wie in einem „Paradies“? Die Gastgeber-Familie erreicht auf jeden Fall etwas, das andere nicht erreichen👌☺️

Fahren seit einigen Jahren regelmäßig in das Hotel Schwarz und sind immer wieder begeistert von dem tollen und aufmerksamen Service, der familiären Hotelführung, dem vielseitigen Programm sowie dem traumhaften Wellnessbereich! Es lohnt sich jedes Mal aufs Neue hierherzufahren und man kommt immer sehr erholt nach Hause. Das Essen lässt keine Wünsche übrig und die Saunaaufgüsse sind ein Highlight. Nur zu empfehlen!

Ich möchte mich für die wunderschönen 4 Tage in Ihrem Hause vielmals bedanken. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie haben sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter/innen. Ich komme bestimmt wieder. Bis dahin wünsche ich Ihnen tolle Momente und bleiben Sie gesund.

Die Tage im Alpenresort Schwarz waren wieder ein grosses Highlight. Wir waren dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal mit Kind da, und abgesehen davon, dass die für Kinder bereitgestellte Infrastruktur ausgezeichnet ist, war es auch beeindruckend, wie vom Personal alles unternommen wurde, um den Aufenthalt nicht nur für das Kind, sondern auch für die Eltern so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Der Aufenthalt im Alpenresort hat zwar seinen Preis, aber was einem dafür geboten wird (Infrastruktur, Service und Kulinarik) ist eine Klasse für sich. Wir freuen uns sehr auf den nächsten Besuch!

Ich gehe seit Jahren ins Alpenresort Schwarz und bin immer wieder begeistert. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön und das Personal überaus freundlich. Ich fühle mich immer sehr wohl hier. Auch mit kleinen Kindern ein sehr toller Ort - das Personal ist sehr kinderlieb. Bäder- und Saunabereich top! Essen 10/10!

Definitely amazing. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a pleasant surprise. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the spa area was great.

Absolutely wonderful resort hotel! We enjoyed four nights there in May, and liked it so much that we asked if we could stay an extra three days ... Great rooms, a fantastic wellness area (don't miss the "Aufguss" in the main sauna in the late afternoon), a lovely child care program (= some extra relaxation time for the parents), a very large pool area with something for everyone, fine foods - and last but not least superb staff. We'll be back!

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. The breakfast buffet is leaves no wish unfulfilled . For fussy vegans to those who love a hearty breakfast..... everyone is covered . I have seldom seen such excellent buffets . The staff were beyond excellent . They go out of their way to make every aspect of your holiday perfect. Our family suite was lovely and spacious and elegant. The choice of pools and areas to relax is staggering . Kids entertained the whole time . The entertainment in evenings was better than I have experienced in any other 5 star resort. This is really the place to come if you are a young family - they just take care of you . Though I have decided to go there soon with just the husband and Myself and let us get spoiled . We were there for a ski holiday - they sorted everything out ! The kids want to go back in summer - no argument from me there !

Staff, rooms, views all outstanding. Very welcoming and relaxed environment. Access to lovely hiking without leaving the resort, and relatively easy drive (depending on traffic!) to Innsbruck and to the Zugspitze area.

What can I say, this place is amazing. Very enjoyable with kids!
