We had a 2-bed bedroom which was very clean. Friendly staff, Delicious food, great view. After getting off the (3rd station?) with cablecar 🚡, we walked for ~2 hours til we arrived at this location. You can stay here for only food or sleep. For stay, It's better to book it before hands since it can be full.

I had a great time visiting Lindauer Hütte. The rooms are beautiful, I was staying in an 8 bed room with a nice view and the pricing was decent. If you need hot water for the shower it's 2€/2min which is alright. The breakfast was really great, the bread was really tasty. The service is astonishing. You never had to wait for more than 2 minutes for your food/drinks to arrive at the table. The food is good as well. For me, as a vegan it was really pleasant that there is a vegan meal available daily with vegan options for breakfast as well. All in all I had a great time and I will definitely visit again some other time. Only downside is that you can't stay with your dog overnight, but that's understandable due to the shared rooms.

Lindauer Hütte is at the base of the "three towers", the landmark of Montafon. It offers spectacular views to the surrounding mountains. The meals are excellent but a bit pricy. The location is good starting point for various hikes.

Great place to stay overnight or just for lunch during a hike

Nice mountain hut of the German Alpine Club, great location to start from for Rätikontour as well as day hikes and beautiful choice of regional Austrian food! Very unfortunate though that my partner (and the young boy at the table next to us) had the Bergsteigen-Essen) which very likely contained some dodgy mushrooms or cream. The tour was over for my partner and he couldn't eat for 3 days, vomited etc. so he had to stay in a Hotel in the Valley for the Rest of our holidays, but Lindauer Hütte made him pay for both food&accomodation. Also they wouldn't allow me to drive my car up their perfectly ok driveway to pick him up and said, it's only for private use and said I had to call the mountain rescue to get him picked up...what an embarassment! We think that the mountain rescue has far more important things to do, so I descended into the valley, drove the Car up to the highest point away from their driveway, hiked up to the hut and helped him descending to the car and got back up again myself. One entire day of our Holiday gone... We had expected a bit more understanding coming all the way from overseas and given these circumstances. And then another surprise: When asking for the approximate descent time through a route called 'Rachen' the service told us she does it in 15min. I wondered and replied 'not seriously or are you a trail runner'. She said no thats the average time. I am happy, I double checked with my Maps and fellow roommates to find out the real time...1 hour more than that! I think, they really shouldn't give such a feedback to customers. Very sad about the poor service. If it wasn't for that, we'd come back, cause nature and scenery are stunning and worth a visit!

Super Chalet with great views of Drei Tórre

Stayed overnight here on a Friday in the middle of a hiking trip. Everything was modern, clean and very professional. In high season, things are very busy so communal space in the restaurant is not always available. Note: this is really more of a hotel and restaurant set in the mountains. If you are expecting a rustic hut on the top of a mountain with communal meals, wrong idea. Definitely more groups and couples then individual hikers.
