One
of
the
prettiest
hotels
in
St
Anton
and
impressively
run
by
a
family
who
have
been
in
hospitality
for
a
very
long
time.
The
hotel
feels
very
authentically
Austrian,
which
was
something
we
were
looking
out
for.
There
is
flawless
and
friendly
service,
an
excellently
equipped
chic
spa
with
pool,
that
welcomed
children,
(during
certain
hours),
as
well
as
heated
waterbeds,
and
saunas.
The
rooms
are
cosy
but
also
spacious,
which
feature
traditional
decor
with
all
mod
cons.
Rooms
are
also
clutter-free
and
extremely
clean.
Bathrooms
are
tasteful
and
spacious
with
'his
and
her'
sinks,
and
enormous
baths
and
showers.
The
balcony
caught
the
afternoon
sun
and
had
a
lovely
view
of
the
mountains
above.
Our
children
couldn't
hold
themselves
back
at
the
breakfast
buffet,
(possibly
us
parents
as
well)
which
suits
a
wide
range
of
foreign
tastes,
including
homemade
muslei
and
cereal,
lots
of
fresh
fruit,
at
least
4
bread
options,
croissants,
juices,
cold
meats
and
vegetables,
as
well
as
warm
Austrian
sausages,
bacon,
pancakes,
maple
syrup
and
eggs.
Afternoon
tea,
or
'Cake
O'clock'
as
we
called
it,
is
from
3:45pm
-
5pm
and
was
an
added
bonus,
serving
delicious
cake
as
well
as
a
savoury.
We
promised
ourselves
that
we
wouldn't
organise
our
day
around
'Cake
O'clock',
but
ended
up
doing
so
until
we
left!
When
the
sun
was
out,
we
loved
eating
outside
the
pretty
front
dining
area
of
the
hotel.
Staff
are
very
attentive
and
knowledgeable
and
were
really
helpful
throughout
our
stay.
They
picked
out
all
the
best
attractions
to
visit
and
places
to
eat
in
lovely
At
Anton.
St
Anton
itself
and
surrounding
area
is
full
of
fantastic
outdoor
activities,
and
many
of
the
ski
lifts
are
extremely
accessible
to
those
with
mobility
difficulties.
The
walks
from
them
are
varied
in
difficulty,
so
perfect
for
a
family.
More
elderly
members
of
the
family
would
have
plenty
of
seating
options
on
the
mountains,
no
need
to
take
your
own
picnic
blankets!
We
think
this
place
is
great
in
summer
for
young
and
old,
and
the
mountains
and
forests
are
so
stunningly
beautiful,
they
make
you
want
to
cry.
We
came
here
this
year
to
escape
the
madly
hot
temperatures
further
south,
and
although
the
weather
was
changeable,
it
was
still
warm
enought
for
t-shirts
and
shorts
at
ground
level.
Would
highly
recommend.
