The cottages are located outside the busy center. Quiet natural location. The owners are nice and talkative people. We felt at home. Cakes, water, fruit, all this I can take in the course of the day. Breakfast in the room and I determine the time. The pool was excellent in October :) A little cold, but I persevered. I must not be demanding. The views from the cottage is fantastic. Montestyria is a fantastic place in a stunning environment. The hosts are extremely kind & helpful and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Breakfast is superb with fresh & local products. The view on the City & surrounding mountains is like a live postcard, changing every moment. We had a wonderful time there and can only recommend this place to everyone who’s looking beyond the traditional places to stay.

Very comfortable stay. Tasty breakfast with fresh products. Extra plus is the good service and information we received at the reception regarding possible excursions, walks. And we enjoyed the delicious pastries with coffee in the afternoon. Compliments to the very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

In three words: Amazing Amazing Amazing! No detail or ask too big or too small, the owners Helga and Peter and their entire staff made sure that we and other guests had an unforgettable experience. Newly opened in September of 2022, Helga and Peter were eager for feedback and ideas on how to improve the hotel. Impressive! My family and I can’t recommend it enough! Looking forward to returning soon, regardless of season! Some highlights: -Steps from the nearest ski slopes -Excellent restaurant reservations in the area arranged for us (including free rides given where needed) -Activities recommended and planned with us to accommodate the changing weather (ski resorts with the best snow, winter hiking (e.g. gave us winter hiking poles)) -Perfectly designed chalets including a well stocked kitchen and a private sauna per Chalet -Breakfast served in our chalets was local, high quality, and customizable to our wishes -Great views of the Alps and Mariazell -Extremely accommodating for our little family member (baby bed, bottle warmer, changing table etc. etc.) -Cake and coffee in the afternoon were to die for!!

We had a beautiful stay at Montestyria. Helga and Peter go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of from special gluten-free baked goods to baby gear. The setting is beautiful and the chalets are comfortable with an amazing sauna and beautiful views. We will definitely return!

Top notch chalets and suites. The only mistake you can make is by NOT booking your stay there. The hosts and the whole team are super friendly, attentive and helpful, the chalets are even better than they look on the pictures. We (couple and two teens) stayed for 5 nights and definitely will be coming back again! 10/10
