The sashimi boat is so disappointed. Too thin, too dry, some of them are disconnected and looks not very fresh. Suchi in the boat are also very smaller than ordering Suchi only.

Great place for ramen or any Japanese style food. The food was delicious and fresh. We had a reservation made over E-Mail. If on a search for any japanese style food it is a great place to go

This place might look appealing from the outside and judging by the 4,6 reviews here, but don't be fooled. The Japanese chicken curry we ordered ended up being something completely else. It was a mush of 90% rice with very little curry (which only consisted of zucchinis), for some reason it had around 3-4 pieces of chicken on it despite the name of the dish clearly saying curry with chicken. No salt, nothing. It was pretty difficult to eat. The waitress didn't bother giving us any silverware with the curry so we had to eat it with chopsticks. I couldn't even ask for them, because of the way she immediately disappeared after hurriedly bringing people their food. Speaking of the waitress, she was also very rude. I have utmost respect for people who work in the service, but how is it acceptable to keep sighing annoyingly and frowning like it's the worst day of your life whenever customers want to order something? She kept talking in an annoyed tone matching her facial expressions and it ruined the mood of the entire atmosphere even though we just walked in. Around the end, we got ignored by her for like 10 minutes despite the clear indications of wanting to pay. As she stood with her back to us, I ended up telling her politely that we want to pay and the waitress looked at me very annoyed once again and ended up saying "Ja, ja" and started complaining in front of the entire quiet restaurant with the customers still around about how she cannot even put a band aid on her finger in peace. Mind you, I would've completely understood it if she told me to wait a second or that she's busy right now, but to reply like this to a customer who wasn't even doing anything mean is just rude. In generally, this place was a huge disappointment. Taste wise 0/10, service wise 0/10. I wish I could give it zero stars instead.

nice place, although not runned by japanese staff. however they are kind and professional and the food is decent. the aburi sushi was good (some cheese on the top would be nice), the dragon roll as well. the udon is homemade, I was missing it. the onigiri (take out) could be better though.

The iced matcha tasted very original 💯, and the onigiri was a savory delight. Friendly service added to the positive experience. A cozy spot for those seeking a relaxing and tasty moment. 🍵😍

Really cute place! The food was very nice, fairly fast service. If you are from the UK like me it can be confusing that you just go in and sit down but that’s how it is almost everywhere here. I think the bad reviews are old I love matcha and thought the matcha I had here was great.

Great sushi restaurant! Absolutely loved my matcha milk with oat milk and the sushi were fantastic, especially the salmon which I greatly recommend! The waiters were very friendly and never made us feel bad for being confused.

The salmon in the sushi was not fresh. it felt like it was defrosted. The beef in the noodle soap was really not etable. It was feeling like an old meat. The floor of the place was dirty, not pleasant at all.

We came here two times during our stay in Vienna, we absolutely loved the food here. It was love on the plate for us: tasty, with delicious ingredients. We ordered tofu-udon and miso-ramen (mine was replaced with fried tofu). It’s a small place, but with a cozy atmosphere.

Cute little japanese Restaurant close to the city center. We sat outside which was a bit loud next to the busy street. As a vegan I was happy to see that they have several specifically labeled vegan options. I had the Tofu Don and my friend and I shared the avocado and inari-shushi Onigiris. The food tasted nice and was ready fast. If you're in the area and just craving some Onigiri on the go you can also just go inside and buy some of the several options they have at their counter! Only little point of critique is that we were waiting quite long after finishing our food and wanting to pay, but no waiter came outside. We went inside to the counter and payed there, seeing that the waiters were eating and having their break so maybe that's why no one had come outside. All in all the service was still friendly and good. I will definitely come back again :)

Been there multiple times and never got let down. Great traditional food and drinks. I recommend you take the Matcha+Mochi set as dessert to finish and round up the experience.

Fantastic place to go to for some delicious Asian food! Whether it’s for a meal, a snack to take away, or just to sit down and have a cup of tea, this place is cozy and I always feel welcome. My personal favorite is the Bulgogi bimbimbap and/or the jasmine tea.

Service is great, friendly staff . Very nice vibe and most importantly sushi is delicious…. Highly recommended

We had miso ramen and chili ramen. They were both great. The chili ramen is hot (the waiter described it as midly hot) - its spiciness gradually increases to a level it's hard to bear, so unless you are really used to spicy food - take the chili out of the soup. The prices are fair.

My ramen was very salty but my friends curry was great taste, but not much in there. Pricey too! Spend over 100 euros for 4 people, just disappointment.

Stopped here as it looked like a nice, relaxed Japanese cafe/restaurant. We weren’t disappointed - ordered a variety of sushi and salads, all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow but the helpfulness of staff and the quality of sushi more than made up for it.

Definitely will visit again. Super cozy, the food was really tasty, and the waiter was very kind. The way the place is decorated gets you in the Japanese mood. The prices are not crazy for Vienna, which is pleasantly surprising. I absolutely recommend!

Really glad we came here for my bf's colleague's birthday dinner~ My udon dashi broth, fried tofu, and sushi were very tasty. The shrimp on the ebi sushi was unexpectedly big/plump 😍 but it and the eel on the unagi sushi were a bit tough/dry, possibly just overcooked.. The staff were super accommodating, and the kitchen sent us a dessert platter for the bday celebration 🙏 thank you for a great night 💕

Food is very delicious. Feels very traditional japanese. A little bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area but well worth it

Good food, slightly expensive prices and a nice homey atmosphere. The decoration inside the restaurant is very nice and welcoming. A great variety of food choices in the menu. They also have a broad tea selection. The food is good but nothing too extraordinary. I had the curry udon noodles, which were good in taste, but not many vegetables other than the ones on top. Make sure to reserve a table, as the restaurant is almost always fully packed :)

Really tasty food and ordered udon noodles, Ramen and mochi. Good food, reasonable priced, quick service and friendly team. The ambience is also cosy and comfortable. I had a lovely time there. Good option and worth the try.

Very friendly and helpful staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious authentic Japanese food. Will definitely come back!

Everytime I ate there I had a very nice experience. The atmosphere is really nice, maybe when it is very crowded, it gets to be a bit too loud inside, but there is nothing that can be done. The vegetarian food is good and there are also vegan options. The staff has always been very friendly and tending to our needs. It is my go-to place for ramen.

Not worth that price, little bit salty. But it’s okay In Vienna.

I loved this restaurant! What I noticed at first was and amazing interior, that indulged you in a japanese atmosphere and was overall very cozy. The staff also seemed really nice. What I liked next was a huge vegetarian and vegan choice of dishes. I ordered two onigiri with miso soup and matcha laté (and then black sesame mochi for a desert). All of it was delicious and affordable. If I come to Vienna again, I'll make sure to visit this place.

Great choice of vegan dishes. Everything we tried was delicious and employees are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back🥰

This is a great spot for Japanese food! They have sushi, small plates or various curries. Staff is friendly and for the area and quality of food, the prices are fair! Must get a mochi as dessert.

  • 2/5 Daryna S. 2 years ago on Google
I have ordered sushi, mochi and ramen. While the first two dishes was okay, the ramen smelled so awfully that I couldn't eat it till the end. I am afraid that the broth or meat were spoiled.

Really nice staff, the food wasn't expensive and really delicious! I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a taste of good ramen :)

Wonderful Japanese food. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this is a go-to place. There's a wide variety of foods, ranging from Ramen to Udon noodles to Matcha drinks... The staff was okay, nothing to complain about. The prices are fair, also nothing to complain about. I enjoy the fact that the images on the menu are all from anime. These images, however, do not provide any information about the actual food. All in all, this restaurant is a good place to eat and to see a small glimpse of Japanese food culture.
