Food is good. Really good. I am totally satisfied with it. The grilled salmon was perfectly cooked. I love the texture. It was juicy, but not raw. My compliments to the chef. 💐 It would be amazing, if the reception would not try to get their bid up saying there is no tables even though there are some. Staff is overwhelmed. Too many orders for a few waiters. When you want to have a bill and pay, you have to wait extra 15-20 minutes.

Great variation of Korean dishes, and kimchi is great. Dessert as mochi with seasam seeds and coffee were amazing.

Amazing service!! We are here with the kids and the servers have gone above and beyond to make this a wonderful experience for the adults, as well as, the kids. The food is off the charts good. We got appetizers and premium rolls. The Rainbow Roll and Dragon Roll were my absolute favorites. The flavor and the freshness was on point.

One of a few decent asian restaurant that i've ever been in Austria. They use good and fresh ingredients, quite impressive. We tried some tapas : takoyaki, chicken wings, satay and karaage for main dish we ordered malaysian curry and red curry. I initially wanted to order the signature duck but the waiter kind of told me that it'll be complicated 😅 Overall we are pleased with what we had and i have to mention that the ambience is pretty cool. I got lot of ideas to design my future house during my visit there 😂 You really have to come here if you're in Salzburg, its located also in the old town. Pro tip : reserve your table a day or two in advance especially if its for dinner.

Sat in garden terrace upstairs, lovely ambience. Staff attentive but took 15min and had to ask 3 different staff to get a glass of wine with my main, by which time had almost finished. It was disappointing however duck breast which was presented nicely but was dry and couldn't be rescued with sauce etc which was all good. OH soup was watery. Starters fine but overall not up to expectations

My dining experience at East Salzburg, an Asian restaurant, was truly exceptional. The food, with its wide array of delectable dishes, was nothing short of amazing. The staff went above and beyond, displaying exceptional friendliness and attentiveness. The restaurant's modern interior further elevated the ambiance, creating a delightful atmosphere to savor the flavors. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend East Salzburg for a culinary delight.

One of the best fusion-sushi restaurants in Salzburg!! Located right in the middle of the city center, we often came here for dinner after a long walk in the old town. Decent variety of fusion Asian food but sushi is the highlight. Friendly and quick service even though it’s always crowded. Price are corresponding to quality and location, quite decent for Salzburg old town. Must try: peking duck, rolls collection and sushi set. Note!: always book your table at least a day in advance and 2 days for weekend.

The food was bad! Trying to be everything to everyone led to poor execution on every single dish: why drown the duck breast that was clearly precook in a pool of hoisin sauce then top with soooo much fried shallots?!?! Couldn’t taste anything but the hoisin. The spicy beef was a spicy beef soup. The bulgogi was bulgogi soup with ONE bun and half a head of lettuce. The sushi — poorly rolled bc it fell apart. The takoyaki - no external crispness whatsoever. The wakeme was quite good though. The hostess told us we had an hour over and over again at 6:30/6:45/etc. well, tons of empty tables when we left. The only thing authentic were the Chinese servers. Otherwise, avoid this embarrassment of an Asian food wannabe restaurant. We should have known better than to go to a tourist trap. Oh the decor is nice though.

Arrived at 18:30 on a Friday and the hostess told us the restaurant was fully booked til after 21:00 Friday and Saturday. That was quite a disappointment, but happily we were able to be seated at the bar and still order appetizers and drinks. The bar atmosphere, though, was very bear-like...loud music playing, lots of it dance music. We could barely speak at normal volumes. The edamame and gyoza were delicious (we had vegetarian + pork), and the mango-raspberry tea was great as well, large serving size. Very friendly staff, beautiful decor. Definitely recommend, but if wanting to go for dinner over the weekend, make a reservation.

Nice, modern location ...amazing style! Great food and friendly staff. It's recommended to make a reservation fir the restaurant upstairs because always fully booked. But also downstairs it's possible to get some snacks. That's pretty cool.

We had a wonderful lunch here in August! My wife is celiac, the gluten free dishes were well described and the restaurant offered a wide choice of gluten free options. The food was delicious! Highly recommended!

WOW - the best Asian restaurant in Salzburg. The Chili Beef is incredible!! Very happy that this restaurant opened!! The only downside is the variety in cocktails - the bar downstairs is great but they should add more drinks to the Menu. Update: I take it back. I went now several times and it was always average. Only the chili beef remains a good dish but most other dishes I tried are somewhat disappointing.

Truly lovely food! Ambience a bit hectic and rushed, so haven't felt fully relaxed. But the food was delicious!

East is a very good restaurant that offers multiple Asian specialities within the same menu to match everyone's tastes and desires. As soon as you enter you will find a very elegant bar on the ground floor and on the top floor the restuarant is located. The ambience of the place is certainly Asian with a modern edge which makes it an idea place for family and friends gatherings as well as romantic dinners and dates. The food overall was very good and this is certainly a place I will return to whenever am in salzburg. Tom yum soup is to die for and the grilled peking duck is a must try for duck lovers and for the desert please do order the Matcha creme brule if you are into it I guarantee you will like it. Did I also mention that the prices were pretty fair. Well done East Salzburg keep up the good work.

The restaurant looks great, both the indoor dining room and the terrace, and is in a great location right in city center. The food is a somewhat modern take on Asian dishes grom various areas (mostly Korean, Chinese, Thai, and sushi), and is served in beautiful dishes, with attention to detail. After the dinner, the only thing I was not happy about was that I was full so I could not order any more food. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and location.

Excellent food and service!! My friends and I were there to celebrate a birthday and everything was great: the food, the drinks and the waiters are super nice, they kept our cake in a fridge and then they decorated it for our friend.
