Hat nichts mit mexikanischer Küche zu tun und auch nichts mit "viva". Essen war total leblos. Reispfanne Acapulco war einfacher Tomatenreis (minimal gewürzt) und mit eher weniger guten Shrimps (wahrscheinlich tk Ware). Guacamole war nahezu geschmacklos. Die Salsa war fast frech: Nur Tomaten, keine Schärfe. Die Anrichteweise der Gerichte ist schwach/lieblos. Der Kellner (Charly??) hatte ein sehr unangenehmes Auftreten. Das restliche Team war aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich kann die guten Rezensionen - gerade hinsichtlich der Küche - nicht nachvollziehen. Für sowas muss ich nicht ins Restaurant gehen, sondern einfach nur eine Bofrost Tüte in die Pfanne geben.

Direkt an der Hauptstraße und dadurch nicht zu übersehen. Bedingt durch die Lage keine Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Gebäude ist ansprechend gestaltet und gepflegt. Auch der Innenraum ist gefällig und gepflegt. Die Sauberkeit ist einwandfrei. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Portionen sind groß und lecker. Hier gibt es das schärfste essen welches ich kenne. Preislich ist es sehr Fair.

Everything except vegetarian tortilla was really good. Vegetarian tortilla was filled with basic frozen vegetables and toped with creme. Flavour of the vegetables was basic. Meat dishes were great and presentation was pretty good, pherps more dip and vegetables would make dishes greath Atmopshere in the main room was great and ambient was really good. Unfortunately we were sitting in the other room so atmopshere was not so good as it was in the main room. All in all it was nice experience and meat dishes are really good. I would recommend it and I would visit this place again. Waiters were polite and fast. They gave us chair for kids.

I am rating this based on having a Mexican food in Austria and not in Mexico or United states. Place tires to get you as close to possible in terms of Mexican food experience while being so far away from Mexico. Location is perfect if you are catching a ferry. Service was good too.

The food is good, it's delivered fast, and the serving staff is friendly enough and efficient. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is that I missed the personal attention; the only personal contact I got was when the manager passed by and said "Mahlzeit" (enjoy your meal).

The Viva Cantina is, in a good way, a noisy, bustling place with a surprisingly good wine list. The food is hearty and hits all the right spots even though it kind of lacks personality. You'll be satisfied, no question, but it feels too much like every other Mexican style restaurant. Except for the wine list, as mentioned.

There aren’t a lot of Mexican restaurants around and the vibes are very much like the Tex Mex places I’m used to from the US. The quesadilla was a bit bland but other customers seemed to like their food. The Prosecco isn’t great, but you also shouldn’t go to a Mexican restaurant for Prosecco I guess. There is a surprisingly extensive wine menu and the food menu is large as well. The bar area is nice. The seating area in the restaurant adds to the atmosphere.

The food was horrible, not fresh at all. Just bad quality. The staff was friendly and tried their best. It was my first but also my last time there.
