It's beautiful the Spring flowers blooming everywhere in September in Doncaster. It gives it such character,hope council will grow even more everywhere,make it the Spring blossom council in Australia More shady trees for hot summer,especially in the very busy Shopping Town intersection too Water fountains more colorful landscape would do a great job. Besides that, those crowded high rise must stop and heavy noisy traffic monitored and resolve We don't want another little Hong Kong or little New York here.

I have applied online for the residential parking permit since 10th Feb 2023 and it says on the website that it will take 2 to 5 business days to post to me. However, today is already 28th Feb and I still have not received the parking permit despite calling them 3 times since last week. Each time someone will tell me that it is in progress and someone will contact me. I am not applying for a building permit, but just a simple residential parking permit!!! I have been paying council fee promptly and this is the service that I get????

Manningham Council recently performed a tree killing program. We have planted two precious tree called "Osmanthus" in front of our house nature strip under the permission of Council 20 years ago. The tree have beautiful shape, evergreen and sweet fragrance in Autumn and winter season. People living in the street are loving the trees so much. Recent the council has killed the two precious, beautiful and valued Thousands dollars trees in less than 5 minutes without any notice and no time for us to reaction . One day later the council replaced a valued $10 tree in the same spot. What a stupid, brutal and madness decision and behaviors. We strongly against this uncivilized behavior of the city government

I wish I can give them zero star. Staff are extremely rude. I am truly sad my council rate is used to hire these people

The response rate of the council is abysmal, why have an email if no one is attending to it? Not to mention customer service seems to be giving inconsistent responses, had to call three times to clarify an issue which should have been resolved in a single communication. So disappointed at the lack of service and professionalism.

I have got a fine in may (which wasn’t me) and did not get any warning letter since may, until November. They decided instead of waning to mail me a letter of demand. I have asked them nicely to review the matter and let me nominate the right person, but seems they can’t do anything about that! I showed them proof that during that time I have been at work and I did not get the warning fine. I asked them to check my details.. I have always paid everything on time! No late payments.. but no they do not care. They made me have records of something that I haven’t done and now I have to deal with fines Victoria. Careless council.. very disappointed.

Council office and area looks “Outstanding” always clean tidy new tables and seats outside for the staff… while the rest of the place is dirty rubbish everywhere, just check out the laneway behind Chemist warehouse. New electric charging stations for there fleet of green cars they dont have..best money spender council on themselves ive ever seen. Its about time we ditch councils. To many levels of government for such a small area .

Manningham Council was an absolute pleasure to work with. A filming permit was easily and quickly attainable. A huge thank-you to Jenny for all of her help throughout the process. She was quick in responses, accommodating to our specific needs and even allowed us to borrow road closure signs for our night shoot. I cannot speak more highly of my experienced with Manningham Council.

I have had reason to deal with Justin Richardson on a few occasions regarding noise coming from Westfield. Justin has exceeded my expectations in dealing with the issues both with Westfield and myself. He is extremely efficient at his position with Manningham Council.

I may not agree with all of their decisions but at least when you deal with them they are respectful, after recently being exposed to Whitehorse Council and their attrocious "service", I could not be happier to live in Manningham!

What is happening with Serpells Road road work , it has been started 6 months ago and still nothing, so disappointed

They placed a sticker to remove vehicle from side of road as was sitting there too long. How would they know this? Unless snitching around from neighbouring peeps. Due to lockdown im unable to drive the car hence sitting on the street. Meanwhile their rubbish bins remain uncleared and stink attracting wildlife and birds.

Planning permit takes forever to approve which add cost, pain and frustration to building experience. One small change to plan will take few weeks to response. Unreasonable/unknown reason for change that are so minor. I heard they are the slowest in terms of town planning approval. Good work!

We have a business in the Manningham Council district. For our food and health officer is Caron Wasserfall. We reciently had her over for our annual kitchen inspection and she was so helpful. We went though everything with her and she answered us patiently and in detail. Great service received from Officer Caron Wasserfall
