Really good sushi place in Aveiro. We ordered the Kaishi XL, Fusion Gunkan and Fusion Nigiris. In a sushi place you can tell if it’s good by the freshness and flavor combinations. Here everything delivers.

Very good sushi, not the best I have ever had. Too “salty” for my taste. A little bit expensive for the quality. But… the service was flawless. Rare to see these days. Great space. I’ll come back, for sure.

Update review! Order the Kaishi sets! It’s the traditional sushi 🍣 not the fusion kind with all those weird sauces. I love all their tanks! They even have starfishes!! They have salt water tanks all around the restaurant and a beautiful plant wall. 75€ for 3 people for lunch (we eat a lot 😂)

Amazing sushi - could tell how fresh the fish was from the sashimi - and the overall atmosphere, service and experience was some of the best I’ve experienced in Portugal! Absolutely recommend coming here for sushi when you’re in town!

This place had a lot of heart. After my meal, I was knocked into a food coma. The ambiance gives off an earthy feel-good vibe. The waiter was prompt and polite. 4 stars.

Amazing sushi with fusion or original options. Very Good cocktails available. Booking is hard and needs to be in a couple of days in advance. Amazing design inside with 2 fish tanks and amazing decoration across the restaurant. Make sure you check the inside room.

Beautiful decorations inside, excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend getting a boat!! We didn’t realize it would have the specialty rolls in it so we didn’t order it the first time. Every time we are in Aveiro we make it a point to come here. The price for the whole meal is spectacular.

Amazing sushi restaurant with relaxing atmosphere. Here you will enjoy tasteful sushi freshly prepared in modern as well as traditional way. I guess this is the best sushi in this region of Portugal.

We recently dined at this restaurant, and while the ambiance was nice, I felt that the portion sizes were too small for the price point. The choice of ingredients, such as robalo, a relatively inexpensive fish, didn't quite justify the price. For a meal for 2 that included tiny 30 rolls/sashimi, a bottle of wine, and a single dessert, the total of 65 euros felt excessive. I hope there could be adjustments to portion sizes and ingredient choices to better match the pricing.

Surely one of the best sushi restaurants in the country. The quality of the fish is outstanding and due to their freezing process it is 100% safe for pregnant women.

The reviews we read said it was the best sushi we'll ever eat and it lived up to its reputation. We eat sushi 2 to 3 times a month for years and this truly was the best. We chose the Benshi chef's choice 16 pieces for 2 of us. Salmon carpaccio and Salmon ceviche. Also Cucumber salad and shitake mushrooms. Outstanding! Service was impeccable! And very friendly! It might sound pricey but we like to drink sake and beer. We also had 2 ice cream and 2 espressos. We felt our check was extremely reasonable.

Loved the cold green tea. The Subenshi tempura was so delectable. The vegetarian pasta was amazing. The spicy miso soup was delectable
