I first called the center to inform them that I was coming in an international program membership. The woman didn't seem to know that they participated. Consequently, I arrived to show all documentation as required and were had to wait another 20 minutes while the information was being photocopied and verified. But once in, it was wonderful that they provided a brief English orientation and tour. We were able to join two workshops of which both presenters spoke English ...and portuguese. The kids didn't want to go.

Interesting for the kids, with expositions being held from time to time. At Sundays there is "Na barriga do caracol", a story telling event where kids may enter inside a giant snail. It also has some kind of interaction between the kids and the adult that is telling the story. The price is 5€ (child and one parent included). It also has events with babysitting service.

Only visited the "hands-on" exhibits, very engaging.

Great time for my grandson. It has many life science initiatives open to anybody (pay-based, very affordable). Not sufficiently advertised. People tend to think their activities are only for schools. Pay attention to their initiatives and do not miss them!
