This activity albeit not bad but it's not worth the time or money. You can do the boat trip to get introduction of the place but if you can walk it's better to explore it on foot. There are better options in Aveiro spend your time and money wisely. I would say do the boat trop that goes to Costa Nova not this.

I took a boat tour for 10€ (student) and it was really nice! Be aware there are multiple people trying to get you with their boat and noticed another one didn’t speak English so make sure that they do before you go with them

Great and affordable tour on the local boat. They have English as well as Portuguese. There wasn't a whole lot to see but it was very interesting to learn about the history of the area.

The boat ride was ok nothing great about this boat tour, so don't waste your money. We didn't understand the guide as kept placing the mic 🎤 almost in his mouth 😀.

Nice city however, currently the Pier area is under significant renovation. We got to see the small barges which resemble a skif...they are very colorful and each operator sketches a small scenery to distinguish their barge from the others. Otherwise the Pier area is un-accessible.

Nice Boat trip through the channels of Aveiro, some explanations about Buildings, salt production, history - not overwhelming, simply nice

Absolutely must do in Aveiro, channels are beautiful, boats are amazing, excursions / comments are super chill and helpful. Our guide answered all the questions we had and made an excursion in Portuguese, English and Spanish at the same time. Pay attention to the pictures / drawings on the boats, they are super funny (ask someone to translate/ explain for you, it's such a nice tradition and city specialty)

The boat ride is peaceful and a great, quick way to learn about Aveiro. I can see why people call it the “Venice of Portugal”! I preferred going on foot because you are able to get a deeper look of the city. Very cute souvenir shops, I think the best I’ve visited so far during my trip.

This is the worst turist scam in the world. 10 euros for a 45 min tour of nothing to see, and personal that really could not care less about their presentation. They talked a maximum of 2 min, for the entire trip, and it was hard to understand. Save your money, take a walk, and eat something nice instead, for the money

Nice and funny, typically tourist place

A very touristic area, but tons of restaurants and shops, and a fun atmosphere. We could have stayed longer or even overnight!
