It is a lovely place very picturesque, water is cold but it is the Atlantic. Food is good whatever the restaurant you go. I like fish so I can't complain on that point. Few pictures taken at different times of the year

Very cute typical beach houses painted in a variety of striped colours. The beach itself was very clean and not very busy the day we went, (it was a week day). Nearby restaurants offer a great selection of seafood caught by the local fishing community nearby.

Beautiful beach and surrounding area. Many houses are beautifully tiled. Lovely place to walk around and soak up the sunshine.

Beautiful beach, lots of space for it not to get too crowded. But beware of the waves and current, don’t go too far into the water!

There are lots of places that you can eat and drink. There are big waves but it is a little bit earmer than Porto. Nice to visit. Also the road to the other beaches were so nice

Beautiful sandy beach Long coast over 9km so plenty of space Take your own towel , umbrella as there are no rental options there . The water is cold with high waves so its fun for playing but not for swiming . The only issue with place is showers & toillets as they are far and with lineup and can use more cleaning ! Regarding food there are resturants and you will notice drinks & sweets sellers walking around the beach selling different stuff .

Idillic beachside town with the cutest design along the Costa Nova. There is a phenomenal wooden walking path along the coast for taking a scenic stroll. The weather was still quite enjoyable in mid October at 23/25 C during the day.

Mega Strand mit sehr viel Platz. Absolut sauber. Je nach Windstärke gute Wellen zum Surfen.

We only stayed here for couple of hours. It is 3h: 29 minutes from Lisbon to Costa Nova and 24,40€ toll each way. It was a sunny day and the travel was fine. The is a beach ( Praia da barra ) which we only walked pass but nice place to take some pictures . Specially the colourful houses that catches everyone’s attention. Good visit.

It's a beautiful beach with a wooden walkway that goes all the way to Praia de Barra. During the weekend it can be very crowded, but still worth visiting regardless. The beach is clean with plenty of trash cans. You can take a BusWay bus from the Rodoviaria which costs a little over 3 euro to get here

Funky beach area where the beach shacks are painted in bold stripes of red, blue, and yellow. Very picturesque with a large park overlooking a marina. Some unusual sculptures in that park. I understand you have to be very careful when swimming.

A beautiful beach with long wooden walkways stretching along the coast. The beaches have nice sand and there are more than enough restaurants and bars to suit anyone's needs. The colored houses are another noteworthy site to see, though the beach is the main attraction.

Beautiful beaches (but windy) and lovely candy striped houses. Very clean and tidy. Lovely boardwalk of 5-6km along the beach to walk along.

If you are travelling at Aveiro, I recommend you to make a detour at the beach of Costa Nova. The houses next to the beach are full of colors. Make a walk along the beach or go to swim: the beach is beautiful.

A little bit overrated. In every article about the Porto Region it is recommended to go there because of the Pyjama houses. If you Pass the main street you See them. If you step out there is not really much more to Visit I think it is a nice place to Pass holidays in this village because it has a nice surrounding. The nice beach for surfing on the westside, the lagoon for several kinds of other (water) sports
