They need to pick you up by boat to get to their little island. The oysters are produced there! It's an interesting experience to check out if you are around.

I stumbled spontaneously onto this fabulous, funky, unique oyster and local seafood restaurant and so glad I did. Beautiful location on an island in the Alveiro lagoon accessible only by boat. Blues soundtrack (thank you), amazing local aquaculture (fried eels, breaded oyster, garlic bread, local wine), warm late afternoon sun and wonderful, caring staff. Heartily recommended. Tours and lodging also available.

Fantastic place, where you cannot avoid feeling friends or family with the owners of this extraordinary place, not only to eat, but to get to be close to (and understand better) nature that you feel all around...

Great venue on the sea, and you catch a small dingy to take you from the land to the restaurant. Unfortunately the food was all mediocre. Oysters were very very small; razor clams inedible - tough; clams were ok; garlic bread had no garlic, and the calamari was commercially breaded. Deserts were ok. Also expensive and therefore, overall not good value, but interesting experience.

Amazing food if you enjoy sea food. The oysters are excellent. On the other hand, the service is completely horrendous. Short-staffed and undertrained staff. If the restaurant is full it takes 20 minutes for the waiter to come. The food for the kids is really bad, everything is pre-made not something you enjoy giving your kid.

The best place ever! GO HERE if you like oysters. I can honestly say that every single oyster we tried (we tried all of them) was the best oyster I ever had! We had 24 oysters, garlic bread, 2 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of water and espresso for only €70. How to get there: Call or text their WhatsApp number (on their website) to make a reservation, then just arrive at the pickup point, call, and they come pick you up! It's a beautiful peaceful little island, the staff is wonderful, the oysters are amazing! Highly recommend!

Still here! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Great food and hospitality surrounded by nature but only 15 minutes by foot from the centre of Aveiro.

A wonderful experience. The oysters are the stars here but everything we had was delicious. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Did I mention how good the oysters are? They were the best. They also have a nice wine selection.

Amazing fresh oysters and calamari which are just melting in mouth. Most of the service done by friendly and welcoming owner, and a great atmosphere of lagoon all around the place. I fully recommend it!
