One of the best beaches! Was not crazy busy and lots of parking! Beautiful white sand!

My favorite quiet beach, far from the crowd. Lots of parking. Life guard during summer season. Be sure to pick up any litter you see and contribute to keeping this a clean beach.

Excellent beach to come to when the traffic is terrible and the others are full. Tons of parking and a small snack/drink stand. At the end of the day the beach cleared out so I enjoyed the sunset with a bottle of wine and even got to fly my drone without bothering anyone!

Great beach ⛱️! Still a little less crowded than Barra, Costa Nova and Vagueira. The road there could use some repair.

Bei unserem Besuch am 23. Mai 2023 war es herrlich ruhig, kaum Menschen. Toller, unendlich langer Sandstrand mit schönem, hellen Sand. Das Meer ist rau, es war durch die Wellen nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet. Aber toll, dem kräftigen Atlantik zuzusehen. Hunde erlaubt, ein großes Plus.

A slice of the past that always welcomes me back. I love this place because it's part of my home town. Yeah, the sea is rough and the waves dangerous, the sand a mix of stones, shells and sometimes fish guts from the fisherman that brought in a good catch but the smell, the view, the feel of the breeze on your face on a hot day, those are the things that I remember and look forward to when I come back home. The place is not as crowded as Mira or Vagueira, as there isn't much in the way of amenities. Although a new little shack with icecreams and rather dubious artisan beers are there. Those beers are...the word is selective..meaning your palate may select or reject. Back to the beach, go mid morning or early afternoon to be able to get a good kid free spot...unless you have kids, then I feel for you. And enjoy a Bola de Berlin, basically sugar donuts in ball format with a custards cream inside.

Nice beach but BE CAREFUL especially if you park there with a RENTAL car!! Yesterday somebody broked in our car and stole everything! Passport and ID card is stolen too.. In case you have found of our things we would be very happy to hear from you.

Calm place. Lots of parking (maybe due to covid). Lots of sand to spread yourself with proper distance... Water, as expected, was a bit too cold. Last entry of the beach has no sign to forbid our lovely dog. He also enjoyed it. Plenty of space to run ☺️

Beautiful secluded beach with natural dunes

Beautiful and expansive. Arrived for sunset with a bottle of wine. Surfers were just getting in. Conditions were perfect.

A good place for a peaceful day at the beach. If you don’t like a beach with too much crowd this would be your best option from all the beaches on the coast.

Hugh and Long Beach on the south coast of Portugal, about a hour to the south of Porto. Dogs are not allowed in the high season, but by end of September there is nearly no one on the beach and you can go with the dog without issues. Enough parking spaces. Directly on the Atlantic Ocean you have to be careful in the water because of high waves. The beach is inviting for a long long walk on it for miles and miles. Before the the beach entry there is a small camping space close to the ALMA Cervejara Bar.
