We booked this hotel last minute on our honeymoon trip and it was one of the highlight of our trip! We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, well no problem at all, the staff was absolutely amazing and upgraded us to a gorgeous room that was ready. The view was splendid from our balcony, the room was spacious, immaculate and simply stunning! Thank you Hotel Moliceiro for making us feel so special, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone making a stop in Aveiro as the location, the hotel and the staff is simply perfect!

Very nice hotel in Aveiro center city. Clean, quiet, extremely comfortable mattresses, nice breakfast.

Location is great, however we faced the reconstruction of the square outside which the hotel could have warmed us about. Also while there were not many guests there they still put us in a room facing the construction area which meant waking up early to construction sounds. Staff seemed inexperienced and it was not the friendly greeting one would have hoped for, same went for the breakfast which was a let down. Rooms were clean and large and with the central location things were easy to get to. Probably a much better experience at other times.

Nice location, close to the fish market. But the rooms are getting old: bathrooms are out of date, light switches have no paint anymore, beds are not for people above 1m90.

The hotel was fine, clean and met the requirements, I enjoyed the breakfast and the bicycles made the Aveiro visit really cool. It was just disappointing that the "canal view" just meant the full view of the construction site...

Staff and facility are great. Construction nearby that takes away from the location. Service was great!

We were there in July 2020 and spent 5 nights in this hotel as family (2 double rooms). The hotel is very well located, so that you can do everything in Aveiro without taking your car. After the first night, we wanted to change our room, which was no problem at all. The ladies at the front-desk are very nice and helpful wrt restaurant recommendations and places to see and beaches to be.

Good hotel in Aveiro. Rooms are old but the staff is very kind and friendly always. Breakfast is ok, not the best, but you have options enough (no cooking at the moment as fried eggs, omelet, etc.) Hotels in Aveiro are normally pricy, so this one is a good option.

Very clean and spacious room, lovely breakfest, a lot of meals to choose, freshly squized juice, which I loved so much. Very nice coffe, hotel staff was helpfull and open to help us where to go and eat nice or what to see. The only thing is there was a little problem with parking because of works outside the hotel (Street is rebuilding). But from the depth of my heart I can recommend staying in this hotel.

Good location, helpful friendly staff, nice breakfasts. The shower was not the best (leaking). Laundry service is a bit overpriced. Other than that - good place for staying in Aveiro.

We stayed there for 2 days during our Portugal trip. The stay was decent despite small problems like broken shower, on-going construction etc. But it became a tourist trap when I was charged 6 euros at the checkout for room service. Literally the room service I asked for was to get wine glasses/opener, no one told me there is a price to request additions amenities on the phone and I was provided water glasses rather than wine glasses anyway. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and this is the first time I have got bills for something like this. I asked for the price list regarding the charge, what they gave me is as shown in the picture - room service attached to breakfast card, charged 3 euro/person. So any of my request to front desk would equal to 6 euros obviously as we have 2 people staying. We had to run to the train station so I paid for it. But this is a very cheap behavior for a hotel we paid 230+ euro per night for! Not recommending to anyone that wants peace of mind or value for money.

Nice hotel for a weekend getaway. The location is excellent next to anything from boat trips to bars and restaurants. The hotel facilities and services are great. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet has many dietary choices. The only thing you should consider is the parking, as the hotel doesn't provide.

Great location in a very classy hotel. Classy in the old school sense. Breakfast included with the room served in a dinning room with complicated, fittings and art. You can tell this place was done up for the elite. I can recommend without hesitation .
