Love this hotel and its location. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is amazing. Also, the breakfast room is beautiful, part of the Art Nouveau movement of the city. Will definitely recommend it to everyone.

A modest hotel with dated rooms and a less than frequented part of town. I found the 4 star rating on their signage a tad misleading, as the quality of the rooms and amenities would be inconsistent with a hotel of that rating. For example, dated rooms, with poor mattresses, numerous lights but not enough sockets for them, a safe that requires a key, but the safe is not even secured to the wall or furniture. Poorly lit bathrooms. Despite this, the hotel does have lots of free parking, and the breakfast buffet was fair. It’s also in a local neighbour hood so you may have to walk some to get to the more visited parts of town

Probably lost its 4* value a couple years ago. Room smells pretty bad and everything seems unpleasant to be touched… breakfast is okay, coffee wasn’t too good. Altough the conditions of the hotel weren’t too good, the staff was extremely friendly.

This hotel came up as an excellent place to go to with a newborn. The team was very understanding, and helpful. Despite the late night crying, no complaints were issued - for which we were extremely grateful as we were suffering from extreme lack of sleep and still in the process of getting to know our little one. The hotel does not have a restaurant (for lunch or dinner) but it is very well located, with a pizza place on the same street, a Portuguese traditional restaurant and even a Chinese buffet. As you keep walking, there’s more to choose from. But they do have a bar after 4 pm, so make sure to check that out! The team provided a crib for the baby (though it was quite used up, at least the mattress was decent), which was super helpful, there’s free parking space (in the underground garage), room service was impeccable (and the cleaning lady gets all the marks for being super understanding - babies make a mess), the bathroom was big and very well kept, the curtains are truly blackout (thank the lord!), the Wi-Fi setup is great - if anyone cares they are using ubiquiti and there’s a bunch of unifi Access Points scattered through out, great location right at the center of the city and good pricing. I was very satisfied. Now for the less stellar notes, the HVAC system user interface needs a complete update/upgrade. Some of the controls are so old/yellow that the temperature numbering is completely missing. Something new, with a digital screen showing the room temperature and with the possibility of setting up timers like “turn on AC for 3 hours only.” directly on the screen would be greatly appreciated to get the room up to the desired temperature but not leave it running all the night. The bathroom did not have an extractor, so there’s the possibility of humidity creep but personally I did not feel it. The TV is your typical hdmi 1080p panel hooked to cable TV. I would have loved to see a similar casting system like the Moxi chain of hotels have, with a casting device (chromecast) where I could cast Netflix etc into it and watch my own stuff on it. The hotel has a great network setup, so it totally doable right now. I really hope they work on this as it definitely opens up new possibilities (digital onboarding of new guests, presenting services, introducing the various areas of the hotel, the team members, casting of online content to the TV etc). So all in all, great place, great team. Some updates/upgrades/revamps needed here or there, but those are very situational and overall don’t take much out of the experience. Wish all the best to the team and I look forward to going back :)

Nice people, placed in the center, nearby "everywhere", parking available, easy access, good offers. I was expecting better instalations with this price. Still, probably I will came again.

It's a very good 3 star hotel, not 4. Good bed, duvet could be better, free parking, nice staff. Carpeted rooms (outdated and not healthy). Ok breakfast.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and located in the city center. At the check-in the receptionist pointed us to some welcomes on a desk at the hall: Port wine and Ovos Moles (egg yolk sweets, local pastry from Aveiro). However, no Ovos Moles were there at the time and neither on the evening nor the next morning. So, better not offer something there's not there... The twin room I was assigned with had the window hinge broken on the floor and thus the window was slightly open. After reporting I got re-assigned with a junior suite. Both rooms had small furniture scratches and the curtains were dirty on the junior suite. Sound isolation was terrible; we could hear people on the corridor (even though our room had 2 doors) and on adjacent rooms. Overall the hotel is good, but I was expecting a bit more from a 4-star hotel.

I guess the fourth star they bought it online or something. Definetly not a 4 star hotel. Reception clerk was not helpful and didnt gave us the upgraded room we booked, he even laughed when we asked for it. Not worth the money

Please stay away from this place. I booked a reservation for 3/10/2023. When I arrived, we couldn’t find the hotel. The area is in construction, the hotel is hidden, the roads were blocked. We meant to stay there, that’s why we made a reservation! Little did we know everything that was going on in the area. I contacted the hotel and told them I wanted to cancel due to the reasons mentioned earlier. They told me they couldn’t cancel me without charging the cancelation fee of $146 for the night/not showing. But why???? Why do I have to lose my money when you are not being honest with your guest !!! It’s not fair, if I would’ve know the location is under construction… I wouldn’t have booked this place. Thief’s! Please stay away, away from this hotel and from the area .
