A well set out store with friendly staff and shaded parking just outside the door. Good prices tops $4.00 and dresses $7.00. Often get some good brands at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately for the Salvation Army I will no longer donate my goods to the shop at Southern River. I will continue to donate at a beautiful shop at Cottesloe. There my goods are always appreciated. And I am respected and thanked. The staff at Cottesloe are also volunteers so it is not an excuse for this shop. Sorry Salvation Army.

The staff really ruin it for this place. They speak to customers so rudely and condescending. They've done it to myself on several occasions and I've seen them do it to others customers. My 4 yr old daughter wanted to get a toy and the woman working came and took it out of her hand. Another time I had my 6 year old and the same woman tried to accuse him of stealing something when he'd put it back and had to go show her he'd put it on the shelf. Extremely Disrespectful staff. Stick to take two and good Sammy's next door, much better customer service!

Store was pretty neat and had a bit of a tidy and change around since I was last there. I took some donations in and they went to the shop floor pretty quickly. Good place to pick up cheap books as they are all the same price.

Big store with lots of potential but the customer service needs to improve and welcome people warmly. I was spoken to in a condescending manner when addressing the retail staff member about something in store- i didnt catch her name but she has cropped mousy brown hair, average height and is pregnant

Not good I saw sailor moon plush dvd together cost $50 come on worth $20

Unfriendly and rude staff. They sell the items more than the actual cost and won't give you your money back even if the item is faulty

I attended the Southern River Salvos (as well as other in the southern area) and was met with great service by all. One of the staff at the Southern River was absolutely amazing. The lady who served me was so polite, well mannered and amazing, she made the experience exceptional. Thank you whoever you were But I am sure to be back again in the future

I was accused (unjustly) by a male staff member of hitting a customer's car as I was backing out to leave. He did not see me but heard a bump and told the owner of the car that I had hit her car. That staff member really does ruin the reputation and I will not donate to Salvos in the future as there are plenty of charities with good staff.
