My mom recently had surgery and I wanted to take her to try a hyperbaric chamber for the first time to help with her healing. We tried Hyperbaric Medical Solutions for the first time and we were both so pleased with our experience. Everyone was very kind and helpful, the office was clean, and the doctor and medical staff took their time answering our questions and making us feel comfortable. The actual chambers were very clean and comfortable. I came to HMS for treatment of sensorineural hearing loss. My ENT and many others didn’t believe the treatment would work but it did. I have 100% restoration of my hearing. The staff is incredible, knowledgeable and kind. I truly felt that they cared about the success of my treatment and about me as a person. They made some lifestyle, diet and supplement recommendations that helped me ALOT as well. I would give them 10 stars if I could. A really special group of people that I very highly recommend. I love this place. My mother is fighting Alzheimers and I have been bringing her here. Initially I was hesitant because those who are fighting Alzheimers have unique challenges. ALL the staff is warm and welcoming and make my mom and I feel comfortable every time we come here.

They go up and beyond to make you feel very relaxed throughout your treatment plan. The treatment process is clearly explained and you are carefully monitored while undergoing your treatment. I have been to plenty of hyperbaric facilities and this was the most advanced one I have used. All the equipment was up to date and the facility director Jared was very involved in your care. He was usually there making sure everything ran smoothly. The physician that is boarded in hyperbaric medicine did an amazing job and made you feel extremely safe. They have every platform of entertainment available while you are receiving treatment which is surprisingly important if you are receiving treatment for extended periods of time. Distracting yourself and your mind becomes imperative after the second week of treatment. The bathrooms and change rooms were always clean and smelled fresh and this did not seem anything like a hospital even though it had hospital grade equipment and staff. The best hyperbaric facility in south Florida hands down! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

At 39 I was diagnosed with stage two cancer . I was terrified and went through multiple surgeries , chemo and 26 rounds of radiation. It was a long process. I ended up with serious complications from the radiation . It was miserable. I did my research and found that Hyperbaric oxygen therapy was proven to help with radiation injuries. I was apprehensive to start another treatment after what I had been through but I’m so relieved that I did. The oxygen therapy was painless and greatly improved my quality of life and symptoms. Not only did the treatment work ( I feel great!) but the staff is amazing. They are so knowledgeable and safety always comes first . I have also met other patients there that have experienced the same wonderful benefits from this treatment. HMS is spotless and does everything within its power to see that their patient’s health , safety and any necessary patient accommodations are met . I would highly recommend anyone suffering from any issues that can be treated with hyperbolic oxygen consult with HMS medical director and experience some relief like I have. There’s no need to suffer when this great place and treatment exists.

Unending Gratitude for HMS Having only heard of hyperbaric treatment before I became a patient of it under exigent circumstances (about twelve hours after a 9.5-hour surgery), I had my first session. My surgeon explained that he was sending me for hyperbaric oxygen therapy under Dr. Alfred, a “true expert,” in order to protect my skin and rib grafts. My prescription was to complete at least ten two-hour appointments, and HMS worked magic to fit me in to their schedule twice a day. While the two-a-day sessions were difficult for me so soon after surgery, the results were remarkable. My therapy spanned only a short seven days; even so, improvements were easily measurable. I arrived with ferocious and extensive opaque black bruising and left with light pea-green bruising except for a few spots of transparent reddish bruising. Much of the bruising and swelling had lifted in just a week. Two weeks after surgery and back in my home state, I am thrilled to report that the skin graft, which started as a precarious purplish black, is no longer in danger. It continues to heal and is a happier reddish color. Both my surgeon and Dr. Alfred, who is a true expert, have assured me that the skin and rib grafts will survive! I am deeply grateful to the ENTIRE team of experts at the Fort Lauderdale Hyperbaric Medical Solutions. Since I underwent so many sessions in rapid succession, I think I met everyone who works there. Every single member of HMS became my personal caretaker at some point; their attention to me was generous and genuine. Some sessions were more challenging than others during the healing process, and the HMS team were always attentive, sensitive, patient, and kind regardless of how slowly I needed to progress. I am forever grateful to HMS.

On January 23, 2022 I experienced Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) in my left so bad that I couldn't hear anything in that ear. After immediately seeing an ENT I started a round of heavy oral steroids with no improvement over the next few days. Of course, I was doing my own research on how to remedy my hearing loss and I found multiple articles and studies on the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT). I then found Hyperbaric Medical Solutions in Fort Lauderdale and picked up the phone and spoke to Jared who explained that they have been able to help people with SSHL. I was a little skeptical at first, but set up a consult with Dr. Alfred on January 31st and I began to get excited about the promising effects of HBOT. Dr. Alfred got me into one of the chambers that day and I went home that night and could hear a little in my left ear! I continued with HBOT treatments over the next 4 days and saw vast improvement. I would highly encourage anyone that has experienced SSHL to contact HMS immediately. From Dr. Alfred, to Jared, Brooke, and the technicians, thank you all for helping me fully recover from SSHL!

My wife has had 60 treatments for her stroke dementia at the Hyper Baric Medical Solutions and I can honestly say of all the medical facilities that we have been to, none of them can compare to the outstanding service that was given to her. The technicians were very knowledgeable and super friendly. this coupled with the cleanliness of the facility made each treatment a happy experience. Because I was allowed to sit along side the chamber, I got to see many patients get treated and everyone was positive. Dr. Gregory Alfred always listened and his upbeat attitude was reassuring. We plan to go back in the future!

We used the service at Hyperbaric Medical Solutions and the whole experience was very satisfactory. The place is convenient located with easy access an parking the interior always very clean with modern look. The hyperbaric chambers with full visibility through the whole length so the person inside will not realize that actually is a enclosed space, each chamber have it’s own TV fully connected for entertainment. We were extremely happy about finding this place and be able to use the service provided. All the technicians and the rest of the personnel make you feel like it is a big family. Cannot say enough about this place and overall experience. The staff is knowledgeable and they all have great bedside manners. You feel welcomed and like you are in very caring and competent hands. And the therapy is so relaxing and truly beneficial. My surgeon was shocked to see my incision completely closed and healed in only one week thanks to sessions Pre and post surgery. Dr.Alfred, Nurse Yaedeker and the technicians are amazing, as well as Jared (the owner who is so present, kind and hands on) and Brooke who greets everyone at the desk.

Life-changing! The treatment my father received at Hyperbaric Medical Solutions has been nothing short of a miracle.
