It was a great experience. It is very large and you can see all the hard work to build wonderful enclosures for the reptiles. They offer some reptile encounters and a guided tour, i highly recommend it. The entire staff and owner was extremely friendly and well informed. We will be back.

We were one of three families there for about an hour and a half. If you are considering bringing your children or do not know of this iguana land yet, it would be my suggestion after visiting today to wait a month or so, until they get all of the exhibits filled. I feel like we paid for the full experience and got half of it. We also paid extra $15 each child for an interactive experience that lasted about 15 minutes but were not separate experiences. It's a nice property and I'm certain when they get it all in order and the exhibits filled as I said, then perhaps you will have the full experience. The gift shop had a few t-shirts that was about it maybe some postcards. They're just not ready for the public in my opinion. Edit to add: I was told by the owner on another review basically saying the same thing that they needed to open so they could have the money to fill those exhibits. I still feel as though he should have offered the whole three families at least a 50% off coupon for next time, unfortunately since he didn't extend anything but attitude, toward me, there will be no next time.

Our car ran out of battery & and rolled up right in front of Inguanaland. Never heard of this place and probably never wouldโ€™ve discovered it if we didnโ€™t shut down. Overall it is an amazing โ€œzooโ€ tons of animals too see and interact with from iguanas to snakes to turtles to lizards! Staff is wonderful and kind, thank you so much for your hospitality while we had to wait on the tow truck. And big thank you to Sarai!

This is an incredible place with even more incredible animals some of which you will see nowhere else. The collection that Ty has brought together at this park is truly astonishing. great place to learn about how diverse the kingdom of reptiles really is and how important it is to conserve it. The care that is put into each and every animal is easy to see and goes above and beyond what most zoos will do. If you love reptiles this place is truly heaven on earth.

Awesome awesome awesome! Great place for an education and an up close and personal visit with reptiles from all over the world including snakes (all non-posinous), tortoise ( world's largest), in a massive indoor and outdoor nature center. Well worth the trip if you're interested in roaming around with plenty of friendly staff to ask questions!

Our visit did not disappoint! Amazing variety of species, and well displayed. The park is much larger than we expected. 5 star experience with Jake giving us some close up time with DonkeyKong, the rhino iguana and a beautiful boa. We will be back.

The place is under heavy construction and you have to make reservations for a private tour for a minimum of four people at $25 a head. Because of the construction it's difficult to walk around inside. The exhibits of reptiles and such outside are very interesting but don't go on a very hot, humid day if you want to enjoy yourself. I'm a senior and I went with family on such a day and I couldn't do the whole tour so I sat out the rest of the tour under some shade with my ten year old niece who couldn't take it either! Overall the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and most will enjoy it if you don't expect a "museum" experience.

Iguanaland is a delightful and new education / entertainment facility in Charlotte county. It is in its first year; as such you will see it as a work in progress. However, we were very impressed with the large number of reptile exhibits and the obvious dedication of its knowledgeable staff. Be sure to book an animal encounter!

A must see attraction in the Punta Gorda area. So many reptiles in a beautiful setting. Igunaland is really well constructed and setup. Reptiles have spacious enclosures that are clean, attractive and creative. I particularly loved their row of garden ponds for turtles. A great Koi and African Cichlids pond. Kids will love this and learn alot about not only igunas but snakes, turtles, tortoise, lizards, koi and more. It took us a couple of hours to see everything.

We really enjoyed our visit to Iguanaland! We got a VIP tour for 4 people and we touched about 20 different reptiles, we really enjoyed our experience. If you like iguanas or other reptiles or turtles - you need to visit this place!

Definitely worth a stop by! There are so many different reptiles, it's amazing. Many of them don't have stage fright, so they were right at the walls of the enclosures which was really cool! It's a small thing, but I appreciate the discounted price for healthcare workers. Also, the staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint is their gift shop had pretty limited stock, but I did come in on a Tuesday. It's possible they were in the middle of stocking.

Iguanaland Inc is a fun place for the whole family. Iguanaland is outstanding in its presentation of a wide variety of Iguana species. Dozens of species to view "up close and personal." A trip to Iguanaland is a trip back into time.

Great new fun place to explore with the family! Still new and in the process of being built up, but a great experience! Tons of reptiles and turtles to check out with the family. Roam around by yourself at your own pace. Healthy animals. Will be back again. I think my buddy the โ€œblack dragonโ€ needs a bigger home. He was a cool dude ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฆ–๐Ÿ๐ŸฆŽ

Absolutely AWESOME is all I can say, this man seriously has a passion for reptiles and soon will share his vision with the public. Today I purchased a baby red iguana and got a sneak peek of the place. We were escorted around by Joe an employee who shares the same passion as Ty and he definitely shows it. When this place opens I highly suggest you visit!!

I took my family on the V.I.P. tour and we had an amazing time.It is truly a hidden gem. Our guide was friendly, informative and had an obvious passion for reptiles that was infectious. The tour lasted 2.5 hours and we were able to touch many of the creatures that our guide brought out for us to see better. It is the only time I have toured a zoo where I did not leave feeling sorry for the creatures. The habitats are immaculate and beautifully designed. There are restrooms, a gift shop and a covered area to enjoy a lunch if you pack it in ( they do not serve food ).

This was so much fun! Great staff, wonderful interaction with the creatures there. The grounds, enclosures, plants, gardens were so beautiful. Such an interesting experience. My granddaughter loved it. I would highly recommend a visit to Iguanaland to any group, families and school groups included! Very informative and enlightening.

We had a fantastic time and learned a lot about so many reptiles: turtles, iguanas, monitors, snakes, etc. Even though it was raining we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were surprised how many wonderful creatures were housed onside, way more than we expected! We'll definitely be back and help spread the word about this gem of a zoo!

This is an amazing zoo with beautiful enclosures and outstanding animals. I highly recommend the private tour, you get up close and personal with tortoises, snakes and lizards, many of which Iโ€™ve never seen in person outside this zoo. We canโ€™t wait to go back.

Another amazing experience at Iguanaland! My daughter and I attended Iguanafest 2023, a fundraiser for the conservation of endangered Iguana species. If you have the opportunity to go, don't pass it up.

Alot of cool reptiles. Some of the exhibits were empty, some were hidden so we couldn't see everything. But overall it was pretty nice. I'm definitely not a reptile person, but I'd go again. Definitely recommend it if you're into reptiles and snakes.

Fun family excursion - good for all ages! The park is nicely done, surprisingly large, and easy to navigate. We spoke with a couple of the staff members who were very knowledgeable and made the visit even more rewarding. Tip: Make sure you make it to the back of the park to catch the giant tortoise (named Ally, I think).

It is an incredible experience for reptile lovers and even those who aren't sure or wish to learn. Very educational, and I highly recommend a guided tour if you really want to learn to appreciate reptiles.

Amazing !!! Amazing !!! Amazing !!! We had the private tour with Gary and it was hands on. We touched the biggest tortoise named Ellie and she was so friendly. We also mingled with Louise the snake, she was 9 feet long and we had many more reptiles interaction. IGUANA LAND is a must visit !!! while in Florida. It is located in Punta Gorda. It is kids friendly and the children can all interact with the reptiles as well. Photos inserted โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ
